    I've been fishing for awhile and have always used half or a whole cooked prawn. Glad I watched this as you always learn something new, makes slot of sense to go a smaller bait that they can smash down rather than pick at!

    nice video mate here in nyc usa america sending you strong farewells / greetings, its a smart way the technique you use with the open bail and hand on the free line ..we have bream in the salts here but we call them ((porgies))..it's the same classification and side by side you wouldn't be able to even tell the difference though and yes these are only caught off the bottom they love shrimp pieces as well , but here in the usa ...the usual bait is or best is 1- blood worms 2-sand worms 3- shimp pisces and 4-clams 5- squid pieces....if there schooling and hungry shrimp pisces do best for me....what im curious is wondering in asking you what size hook you find best ...i use a size a size 4 hook and you!? if it's ok to ask... again excellent video and blessings mate i would like to ask for more videos from you fishing breams, your on the sea correct.!?,.. again thanks for sharing..i just subscribed sticky...your videos are TOP!!!!

      @stickyfishyfishing  3 роки тому

      Hi mate thanks for watching my videos
      Hope you feeling better after your surgeries and ready for some fishing
      The breakwall is better over the winter months but can still produce fish this time of year still a few bream around there fishing in side the marina near the co-op is good for the kids to fish no as many snags and just fish a floating bait no sinker with prawns and a bit of berley will get trevally and bream there
      All fish the beaches inside the bay with live beach worms or nippers for whiting this time of year also flathead on the same beaches cast soft plastics or hardbody lures in the sand patches amongst the weed or a pilchard on gang hooks cast out slow retrieval works too so yeah more summer species this time of year but good luck hopefully you catch a few cheers 👍

    Hi mate thanks for the video.. you make it so simple... I am a newbie and I am from Newcastle. I am thinking to go for fishing near the Stockton breakwall. What time is the best for fishing as per your experience? Is it when the tide is high or when it’s a rising one?? Thanks

    • @stickyfishyfishing
      @stickyfishyfishing  6 років тому

      Proloy Deb hey mate thanks
      Best time for there would be a hour each side of the tide
      one hour before the high tide to one hour after the high tide same thing with the low tide as well the because there can be a bit of a strong current there being at the river mouth if current is to strong find a spot with a bit less current
