I was really happy with this batch. I am one of those people who love the watermelon jolly rancher note so I am a big fan of the nose lol This is a total fruit bomb for me, feels like a full proof Eagle Rare store pick without the oak
How does it compare to 24A batch? I have both bottles and I haven't cracked either and want to give a friend one. Which is the one I should drink though?
This one is kind of confusing for me. The dark notes in it are spectacular. But the saw dusk, woody youthfulness of it throws me off.... Definitely better then 24a imo which was 2nd weakest SJR I've tried. Just nothing too it.
same, use to be a round $85-$90 now everything from Buffalo Trace is over priced. I don't buy any of their stuff anymore. plus I prefer Knob creek 100 proof and single barrel 120 proof over any of Buffalo Trace products so I fine sticking to what I like.
Saying that you’d pay $100 doesn’t help us. We can’t get it for that. If we are extremely lucky we will get it for MSRP. Otherwise we are going to have to pay the current secondary rate. Saying that you would pay $100 for it doesn’t help us, what would be useful to know is if you would pay the current secondary or not.
Just paid $130 for one, it’s my first Stagg, could pick one BT bottle without points and I went for it. Haven’t opened it yet but to not have to use my points at my favorite local store, I can’t complain. Used my points for a ‘25 Weller 12 last week and today you could’ve bought it without points but it’s all good. Fun to treasure hunt and thanks for the review. I have a feeling I’ll enjoy it 🥃 Edit: Just saying my favorite of the year so far is the Dettling Cask Strength and BIB so if it can get close to that it might be worth MSRP…to be determined 😂 Grabbed a 1792 Full Proof and liking that one tonight
The subtle shift in camera angles adds a subtle hook to the viewer experience. It's a level up for sure.
Making me blush with the call out😊
Get off Your knees 😅
24B was a spicy grape bomb to me - love it.
Can’t wait to see how it stacks up to 24C 🥃
New and improved Cam O’ Vision! Bring me more!!
Batch 12, 18 are my two faves and this batch is right up there for me. Important to note I was a 23c fan.
12 was my favorite. I had a sample of 23C but I'm still looking for a bottle.
I thought 23C had such a flat, off-putting finish. Sub par.

No it’s great!
I thought it tasted like an old school straight up Stagg. It's a good one. This really reminds me of 12 in many ways.

Glad it’s a recommend. Now if I can only find one close to retail…😭👎🏼
“Buy or Pass” is hilarious. You assume in that statement that I’m able to find a single bottle of it, let alone a particular batch to be picky about.
All stores around me have it for $200. That’s too much for me.

Bought this stagg at secondary, not mad at it. There are some really disappointing stagg batches and this isn’t one of them

He clearly says he would pay up to $100-not over. So it's not worth the secondary price.
I’ve paid 69 for stagg jr just last week, just wait it’s becoming move available.
@@c.j.miller2665$100 is irrelevant. Understood. However, Nobody gets it for that. It’s either MSRP or secondary.

Sounds like this is a stagg-ass stagg.
Nice hat.
