Rory, I have to say my friend that you know how to ease the anxiety. I’m about two months broken up with now, but every now and then I need to hear this. I didn’t do any of this and agreed right away to what she wanted and it sucked. However, when you say that, “they need to win us back!” So true my friend. Hello dear Rory! PulseSurfer here! I got rejected by the girl I was chatting with since early this year, she works at a store where my mom lives. I was so positive about our interactions, I told you the last time. 3 weeks ago I handed her my number and now she is avoiding me. Ugh... very demotivating. I was so happy that I found a girl I really dig after dragging my feet *as you said* for 3 years. Oh well. Cheers to you Rory, you have a good heart.

Hey Rory, I appreciate this point but how do you balance the fact that they did something things that you feel are fundamentally wrong and needs to be addressed, but bringing it up seems impossible without evoking guilt? Doesn't seem natural to just start casually talking about only positive stuff like nothing happened and ignore the elephant in the room until...you're back together or something
