Hey Joshua! Aw thank you so much, it's nice to hear you enjoy the videos & we hope some of them help in some way or other. Lots more to come, cheers for the support 😀✌
Yeah it's easy to forget about it & we've heard some people having issues when the audio is just set to auto so we made sure to change it. Hope it helps. Have a nice Sunday Phoenix ✌
Very helpful. I tend to use my Xt30 for stills but knowing some video settings that work, I'll be more confident using the video rather than using my phone.
Honestly we haven't really changed anything on the Q menu the only thing we use it for is changing the type of focus and the white balance really during a shoot.
Hey! We have been using the Rode Video Micro since we got the camera and it's been great, doesn't have a power button so when it's plugged in its always on, so you never forget lol Not sure what you mean about the battery but the X-T30 does need a mix axulliary adapter because it has a 2.5mm aux slot instead of 3.5mm 👍 Here is the link (It's our Amazon affiliate link btw) - amzn.to/3khi9cB
Hi, Thank you for the video! I got a XT30 II and its video menu shows much less options (while the photo menu looks complete). Only MOVIE MODE / FILE FORMAT / FULL HD HIGH SPEED REC / IS MODE / AUDIO SETTINGS / MIC/REMOTE RELEASE. So I cannot change the film simulation settings. Do you have an advise how to see all options? Maybe I am in a wrong mode.
I am using Fujifilm X-T20 + XF 18-135 + 50mm f2. Should I upgrade from X-T20 to X-T3 for F-Log and 4k60fps? And can I shoot 4k30fps (X-T20) to slow motion like shooting at 4k60fps? Looking forward to your reply
I have a problem in the vidoe mode of my XT30ii - It won't let me shoot in anything else than the flat profile. Is there any reason I am not aware of that I can't select anything else. Can I even shoot hard rendered to 8 Bit in any of my custom film recipes? Thanks in advance!
Hey, thanks hope it was helpful :) I use the 200Mbps which will give more room for bringing back detail in highlights or shadows and just general colour grading if you need to.
Hey hey! To be honest it actually hasn't limited our recording at all because we are never really recording for long periods of time for our videos. Same goes with overheating, it hasn't happened once yet thankfully. No problem, hope it helps. Have a nice Sunday ✌
Forgot to mention we choose the 200mb 4k video option btw. I know these types of videos are a bit boring but we all end up watching one at some point 😂 If I've missed anything feel free to drop any questions below. 👍
Having an xt30 myself it's nice to see a channel helping those of us who have more of a "budget" camera. Keep up the grind! We enjoy the videos.

Received my xt30 a few weeks ago and this helps a lot! Thanks so much for sharing your tips!
Love to her it, great choice! So nice to hear the tips are helping you out. It's a little beast of a camera ✌

Hey, thanks very much that's nice to hear the support is always much appreciated. We will just keep doing our thing and hopefully people enjoy it lol
Definitely inspiring me to use my camera more often. Love the videos, especially the photo walks.
Hey Noelle! Thanks very much & love to hear that it inspires you 😀 Glad you enjoy the photo walks, more to come soon ✌
How do you save film simulations in the video settings for some reason my xt30ii allows me to put them in but I can’t save it
Didn’t paid much attention to the audio settings but I’m glad you got it well covered! I’ll review my settings. Thanks!

Cheers Angus, glad it was helpful in some way. Yeah totally, the footage looks so nice from it, you should give it a go every now and then 👍
Can you do a video on setting up the Q button, for Street Photography, Black &White, and Landscaping modes.

Hey what cable and mic should I get for audio for xt 30ii.And I heard that xt30ii doesn't support mic without battery,is it true.?

Hello, can I use my custom recipes I use for photos on video on XT30ii? I cant seem to find the custom recipes when I toggle to video mode
That's a good question and honestly we haven't tried it. We use Astia soft for video and shoot RAW for photos 🤔

Same here!
It's in the IQ menu.
Just make sure to switch the dial to movie mode.

Thank you for the nice tutorial. Do you set your video Mode at 100Mbps or at 200Mbps?

Hey, how often does the 1080 15-minute recording limit affect your workflow? Does the camera overheat often? And thanks for the informative video!

i can not find where to choose 10 bit video. I search on gg and they said xt30 can filming 10 bit. Do u know where to turn it on?
The X-T30 can only shoot 10-Bit with an external monitor.
