This unknown weapon controls the mind of the passenger and transforms him or her into a dictatorial mindset that does not allow the existence of others, as mentioned above. @@g--stef4756 Until the early 90's, Irem published a newsletter called "Dragonfly" as an exclusive benefit for members. (I have never read it because I have never been a member) It was said to contain detailed explanations about the game world, behind-the-scenes stories, and illustrations of the characters appearing in the games, and would have been a great item for learning more about Irem's games. I occasionally see them listed at auctions, but it's a shame that I can't get my hands on them because they are rare and expensive. Incidentally, my recent comment about the Granvia's fearsome performance was taken from the Sega Saturn version's manual, but perhaps this description may have originally appeared in Dragonfly as well. Then you mentioned that you have the In the hunt manga, perhaps it is the manga drawn by Masato Natsumoto (夏本雅人)? If so, I used to have it too, but it had little relevance to the game, and I felt uncomfortable with the main character getting off the Granvia at the end of the game and engaging in a fighting match with the enemy cadre. Incidentally, the Granvia is boarded by the Takahara couple, who belong to the International Maritime Patrol, with the wife, Rei Takahara (高原麗), boarding the yellow Granvia F (Female) in the first player, and the husband, Jin Takahara (高原仁), boarding the blue Granvia M (Male) in the second player. Incidentally, Jin is the brother of Takahara Zan (高原斬), who appeared in "Undercover Cops," and is himself a master of Koppo-jyutsu. He is a quiet character, but in the manga he is the main character and has become a rough and tumble character.

Until the early 90's, Irem published a newsletter called "Dragonfly" as an exclusive benefit for members. (I have never read it because I have never been a member)
It was said to contain detailed explanations about the game world, behind-the-scenes stories, and illustrations of the characters appearing in the games, and would have been a great item for learning more about Irem's games.
@@momihog Yes, it's the manga you're referring to, the one with little to do with the game.
Thank you for the information, still, it's great to learn even a little about the game and Irem.
Great! Crazy completed 👍👍
Irem games from that time all looked really good, with insanely detailed sprites and backgrounds. This is one of the best examples. There are a few others like this, before the team that did these games moved on to Metal Slug series.
Hello 🙋♂️. And what other games, of a similar style, do you know?
I remember another one. But I forgot the name. There are two heroes to choose from. One of them, when defeated, says: "this is not my day."
@@consequencesofactionscoa615 You will have to be more specific. If you want more games in this style, other games from Irem are a good start. Then there are a few classic arcade games like Forgotten Worlds (from Capcom) where you have two heroes and they can say something. Capcom made a ton of horizontal shoot'em'ups so you might explore their catalog too ;)
@@LegendaryGauntlet Thank you for answering my question 👋🏻🙂
@@LegendaryGauntlet 👋🏻🙂 . I remembered the name of that game
😁. «CT Special Forces», developed by «Light and Shadow Production» published by «Hip Interactive». One of the latest games for the PlayStation one console.
@@consequencesofactionscoa615 Oh well done, but that's not an arcade game ;) (it's for consoles). Arcade games ran on dedicated hardware, and ran in a coin-operated cabinets.
played this game to death back in College. Good times.
That first stage... I wonder how many quarters it has consumed. That is one intense ramp up in difficulty!
