Except for the digital mirrors and the big rims I ordered the same configuration and finally after 4 months I was informed today that the car is at the dealer and that I can pick it up as soon as it has gone through checkup.
Quick question from a prospective buyer - is there a means of muting the speed warning "bong" in the latest over-the-air update? Or is it still a switch off the option each time you enter the vehicle? Thanks!
Fabulous review from the perspective of most of us who are considering our first BEV. Can you comment anything about the door releases: are they mechanical (and thus would work even if all the batteries have gone flat) or electrical (as in many makes, making them ineffective if battery power is not available, possibly imprisoning someone in the car). ANY information would be appreciated!
@@uviewdave Thanks for responding! If there is a mechanical connection, you can always get out. If there is a button to press (for an electrical connection), what do you do if you're in the car and batteries have gone dead?
@@flyingspirit3549Sorry to jump in, the Tesla ones are actually electro mechanical and have a manual release underneath the arm rest, works no matter what happens with the battery.
Nice video, thanks, I just ordered one of these, coming from a Tesla M3 AWD LR. Wondering if you can provide a link to the Motorola wireless car play please?
Great review as considering ordering the same spec. Thanks.
Good review. I bought this two months ago and love this car
Thanks Dave... Big help as I'm looking to get an Ionic 6
Great video
This was very helpful mate, thank you for keeping the video short and sweet!

Hi, you still have to mute it each time you drive, although there is a shortcut to take you to the relevant menu, so its quite easy.
@davidboothman3902 great, thank you!
Great review!

As far as I can tell, they are mechanical from the inside. My tesla just had a button to press

@@gammitinofficial Thanks for the clarification! This is essential information for someone considering their first EV>
Great 1st review. Are you a golfer? If so can you get the clubs and trolley in the boot? Cheers Matt
Yes, no problem with the clubs and electric trolley
@@uviewdave great news

@gammitinofficial it's a Motorola MA1 Wireless Android Car Adapter
It's best to search for it on the internet. I got it on amazon. I can't see it now.
@@uviewdave thank you, that's perfect! 👍 Cheers
