It would have been nice to mention that the cheapest version rn (SE) has 360 miles of range! I think that's going to be the most popular trim that people buy.
I've read that wheel size is the main contributor to the range between trims. Someone should get the highest trim level on the RWD and swap out the wheels and test it out for us.
pretty cool how they took some 90s GM concept cars and somehow made it into production. Look up the Cirrus concept or the Neon concept looks very similar.
The headlights look like the Toyota GR86 and the tailights look like a lightbar you find on most Porsches these days. It's not really that out of this world...

Both are excellent choices from Hyundai, making EVs more attractive to customers/reviewers like me.
Overly priced but lack the performance and value of a Tesla. Classic Korean. They couldn’t compete in reliability with the Japanese and now EV against Tesla. So they throw in more options as standard.
i am not a EV guy. but if i would to get one, difinialty tesla. NOt chinese, Not Hyundai nor KIA. those are one of the most dangerous and poor quality car in the market.
@@newchannel1220 ah yes teslas are very high quality with their famously amazing quality control, very accurate marketing, and amazing UX decisions like getting rid of the windshield wiper levers /s
The microphone is soooo much better. None of that weird panning effect from left to right from before. I prefer the design of the 6 but not enough to choose it over the practicality of the 5. I can’t really afford either anyway, not just yet. Would love to see you review the atto 3
The IONIQ 6 is an amazing car. Range shouldn't be an issue as it's VERY commonly used as a taxi in South Korea. This thing drives all around the big city from day to night without a need to recharge in between. Had the chance to hail one during my trip there last week and absolutely loved the ride.
@@evilbred974 I understand, but that's your opinion. I strongly believe there's a place for all body styles in today's world, sedans included. I'm not gonna hate on sedans since I drive a '20 Kia K5. It's lovely, fulfils everything I need from a car and definitely drives better than my wife's '14 Golf. I still think the IONIQ 6 is a beautifully designed car.
I always see this in just about every car video that are to some professional degree. Everyone speeds at some point and blurring the fact out just makes it so there is no evidence you actually did it on a quite permanent platform as UA-cam
Great video! 250 miles is only for this top trim, the RWD with same battery size is something around 360 miles which is pretty impressive actually. And the AWD with smaller wheels and less premium features can also get something around 315 miles. So, the range is pretty good if you choose small wheels or RWD or both.
Sucks that you cannot have the upper trim features and the smaller tire of the base trim at the same time. Wonder if Huyndai dealers let you swap the wheels like that
@@DerekHansell I live in Canada and the snow were just melted 2 weeks ago, lol I would definitely take the AWD version because of the snow and smaller tires because of the range.
As a driver of Ioniq 5 for the last 18 months or so I can vouch for Hyundai's superior approach to the driving experience and most solutions. A few kinks here and there, but those are hopefully being mended over time. I wouldn't trade my 5 with a 6, but I love what Hyundai is doing right now.
I think most people feel the same. The sedan niche is kinda filled by kias offering, and at a better value while having the same tech. The I5 just makes more sense.
@@46Magethey really do honestly I only ever saw it in person and I was confused at how it drastically it looks different in person. That said I’ve ever seen a gray one
@11202 It's not "grey"it is "Transmission blue", means there is a blue color shining through the grey color as soon as sunlight hits it.... I ordered my Ioniq 6 last week in exactly this color, looking forward to get it end of April....👍😉
it's those bigger, wider wheels on the higher trim package ...I wonder if they offer an option of everything from the higher package without the wheels
Usually, higher trims come with more advanced features, which may consume additional power and affect the overall range. It looks to be the case with more EVs coming to market.
I just bought this vehicle. I totally fell in ❤ with this car the moment I saw it in person. It gave me the feel of Audi A7. I would take Ionic 6 over 5, hands down, because the sporty design of 6 provides a compelling presence. I think, for the general public, they may confuse it with a Porsche or a Tesla. It’s a futuristic comparison without the knock off feel. I’m sure I will feel fine with that 😂
Same!!! I went in the showroom with my bro, since it would be my first ride. I was there for the 5 but then I saw this bad boy 😍 I was an immediate traitor 😅 I loved it so much I couldn't even feel the shame. But I told him to talk me down from the EV bridge since I'd already sold myself. Tbh till today I can't remember much of what he stated was a drawback except the charging inconvenience. But I know he had a handful of points, just needed to see them here to be bought back to earth and NONE of y'all are doing it 😂
Unless you have an 8K TV or laptop screen, how can you tell? I watched on a 4K TV. I don't watch enough of his videos to know if the sound is better or anything else is better.
The mic was much better than usual mate. If it was my money, I'd buy the Kia EV6, as much as I love the Ioniq5 and 6, and I really do, I think their styling is going to date really quickly, particularly with the 6 and it's Porsche/Citroen riffs. With that in mind, dropping 50k on one of these, I'd want to keep it for as long as possible, so I'd take the Kia as I think it would look the freshest for longest. I'd be happy with any of them though, just to be clear.
honestly, for $45,000, you could buy a brand new tesla model Y or a 3LR. if the interior quality was more impressive i’d be more inclined to want something from hyundai, but it’s just as minimal as tesla here lol
@@bg-sj9tx i mean obviously not but this thing is basically the same interior quality or worse, PLUS no supercharger network and less range/slower. tesla is still the obvious win for non-luxury EVs
I just test drove this, in Black. Comes across as bigger, and taller, than you expect. Looks amazing in person, especially with the top wheels. Acres of presence Black is the right color for it, murdered out, with like 22" wheels, like the "Prophecy" Concept
It seems like Hyundai is making an entirely new reputation for themselves with these EVs compared to their normal 'boring' cars (sans the Veloster N, of course). I feel like people might accept them better if they pulled a Volvo > Polestar type deal and made a new sub-brand that only makes EVs, but either way they're doing a great job. I'm aware that they've already got Genesis, but they also are doing double-duty gas+EVs.
It won't be too long before they will be forced to drop all of their ICE vehicles. Price parity will happen fairly soon and with the sky rocketing fuel costs, it'll be the death knell of new ICE vehicle manufacturing.
@@ScubaSteveCanada I bet they’ll keep some of their old models. Just make electric versions. Theyve already done it with the kona. Maybe make their old “generic” cars the lower end and have the ioniqs be their “premium” line.
@@ScubaSteveCanada Not everyone wants an EV. In fact a large portion of the population does not. It will be a long transition for the entire auto industry.
Hyundai and KIA are some companies who are successfully integrating EV into their Branding, unlike almost all the other companies who just make "EV" versions they don't really have a sustainable plan for EV and are just hoping they can slap an EV tag on and price their Cars at 50k and trucks at 100k It's nice to see some companies actually care enough to put in the time to move forward, I didn't expect to see ANY Ioniq 5's in my small city (45,000people) and they are honestly so many, it's dope
I think we are at a stage, where we have to look at materials in a different way. Even BMW with their 100k and beyond cars go recycled materials. And its a great thing. For our Ioniq 5 after over 50k km it still is amazing, no cracking, no material bleeding off or anything. REALLY good. I´d love that this take becomes a bit more common, so that they are rewarded for using recycled material over technically more expensive leather or others that just feel out of place with sustainable mobilty approach.
I own an Ioniq 5 and it's awesome (with the exception of a brutal Apple Carplay experience that randomly disconnects). Rode in an Ioniq 6 taxi in Korea a few weeks ago and I'd love to have one of those too. The cabin is so spacious and the exterior is beautiful. Kia and Hyundai are killing it.
@LifeIsFun Android Auto unfortunately has the same issues in my car. Hyundai has to fix that. Widespread issue affecting all the cars on this platform. Forums full of owners complaining about it.
I really like the appearance of the Ioniq 6 and it seems to be an EV that almost scratches every itch I have. Ideally they'd have used that giant rear end as a hatch instead of having a bucket trunk but that's my main complaint. It's roomy, has nice tech, and the price is almost reasonable. Of course, I think it looks awesome. Like if someone took the design cues from a Porsche but made it fully EV.
I have the Ioniq 5, and I am obsessed with my car. When I got it, it was exactly what I needed. The more I look at the I6, the more I like it. I wasn't a fan of how it looks, but now that I am seeing them on the road they are nice! I would get both if I had that kind of money. Maybe when my ICE dies and I need to upgrade, I'll take a look at the other EV options. My I5 has been perfection though, so don't plan on getting rid of that anytime soon.
Damn dude! Where do you folk get money for such car. I’m paying off bank loan for $4000 car. Btw monthly salary here is 8 times smaller than in country where you live($600). Dang. I feel like I will drive these cars in like 40 years when they get obsolete and useless.
@@mrboleus8240 Thankfully, with the right budgeting, it was possible for me and my family. We had both of our sedans paid off for like 2 years, so the payments we WERE making, were going towards a new car. Plus, since there was a 10-ish month waitlist at the time, I was able to put money aside for a deposit. If it wasn't for a two-salary household with 0 kids, we wouldn't have been able to get it. I really enjoyed this review of the Ioniq 6. You have the best best vocal tone & pacing that I've heard from any reviewer that I currently listen too! Instant Subscribers subscriber!
This goes for many other car companies though. Who would have thought that Dacia, Kia or Skoda would start making good looking cars? I don't think you need to poach talent for this, seems just a new generation of designers in the industry who know what they're doing.
Have had the 6 for almost a week. Nice so far. I would say those range numbers are on the low end. Been seeing numbers well into the 300s myself and from others with the AWD drive SEL and Limited models, and as stated by others the SE RWD gets 360 miles of range. Though I am driving exclusively in ECO mode and use the I-Pedal as much as possible. Also an interesting note, those wings on the sides of the dash are screens for side cameras (replacing the side mirrors), which are unfortunately not allowed in the US. Wish they had found a use for the screens on the US models.
This is some great technology. I have noticed Hyundai has been really making some great looking cars past years. The thing which I also love is that it is a brand known for great quality. Imma check it out.
The I6 is all about range and effeciency, while the I5 is more about practicallity. I wouldn´t switch my I5 for this, but I can understand if would. It´s fun, cause in europe, we get a much bigger frunk in the RWD versions. Around 54 liters compared to the 20´ish we see here. That can hold all the charging stuff, whipe fluid etc. so you don´t need to have that in the car. And the sound in this video is awesome, can´t guess the other change :D
The 6 is just awesome! So fun to drive while still being efficient and many many tech features that I love. I'm driving it since May last year and I love it!!

This video wasn't entirely shot by a smart phone, I noticed the part were you used either a drone or the robot, and thought man he must really love this car. ^^
I think he used some kind of gimbal coz it is really stable and is able to shift the camera around inside the cabin without needing to awkwardly switch hands. He's also able to shift seamlessly from a regular to a telephoto lens. And there's also the mid-chest shots too so something mechanical for sure
@@moatazabdulhady8813 Both of those exterior pan shots are possible with a phone, and consistent with handheld or possibly a telescoping gimbal like an Osmo. The first one is probably held over his head and moved down, the second one he's holding it low and walking backwards. They're both fairly jerky with unintentional movement.
The audio quality is significantly better than before, thank you! As for choosing between IONIQ 5 vs 6, for me, I'd say depends what your needs are: more space and practicality? IONIQ 5. Don't need a crossover/SUV body style and want a Porsche-like body style sedan? IONIQ 6. Plus the IONIQ 5 doesn't seem to have the issue of the rear glass getting all mucked up due to the lack of a wiper like the IONIQ 5. Bad thing about the IONIQ 6 that I can see? Insane/ridiculous price gouging/markups from dealers. Lastly, no federal tax credits for either one.
No markups in my area for either so I guess it depends. Hyundai is offering the 7500 in the form of a lease incentive (they get the tax credit and pass it on) since leases have none of the consumer requirements for the credit.
Finally, someone who actually likes the design of the Ioniq 6. I personally love it, so different and with a lot of personality, not just a boring generic look.
The mic helps tremendously, I think the other thing maybe you did something with stabilization. Sweeping camera movements didn’t seem so jittery. If an iPhone maybe action mode? I watched in 4K on a 65 inch LG OLED C9, I think I noticed really nice sharpness and contrast in the image. The contours in the vehicle trim and interior were well defined with shadows etc. There was a really nice depth of field at the beginning with the buildings and field in the back. Colors at times (green) seemed over saturated, makes me think not an iPhone. Did you change from smartphone to a point and shoot like Sony ZV-1F or Canon Powershot SX740?? Overall I love what Hyundai has been doing. I’d prefer the Ioniq 5 limited given hatchback and rear space. But the sporty look of the 6 is amazing.
I totally missed that, thanks for pointing that out. I’m still stumped what’s different then regarding the cameras, something about this looks clearer and sharper and I’m watching in 4K. Overall the video looks smoother so maybe action mode is my only guess, if it’s not a new camera. I wouldn’t put it past the channel to still put iPhone 14 Pro in the description even if this is the first time being shot with a new camera while asking viewers if they notice a difference. Wouldn’t want to give it away in the description, but may announce in the next video.
@@mrbrandonoldham I doubt he would just lie to his audience like that. If Marques says "Shot on an iPhone" then it was shot on an iPhone. What he may have done is increase the amount of editing that goes into these videos. Maybe he's doing more sharpening, color corrections etc in post-production. And I actually do think, especially the selfie shots giveaway that this is almost certainly on a phone. The blur does look quite artificial imo. Also around 1:20, when his hand appears, if you pause, you will see some weird blurring artefacts that I don't think you would see with a decent actual camera. And...If you look in the rear view mirror at 6:58...There you have it. He does seem to have a gimbal device holding it steady, but it's definitely not a camera.
I've always been swayed by aesthetics over practicality every single time, so it's definitely the 6 for me. But like any other 'first' generation release, it's always the worst version to buy. And with every iteration, just like the Model 3 when it first launched, it gets better over time. Not to mention I hardly hear any tax credits or rebates with this car, vs what you could save if you went with the more established Model 3.
Nice review as usual, I think the thing other than the mic has something to do with the auto zoom you did when you were shooting the dashboard, there's no way you could've zoomed in and out that smoothly without assistance, I think it's a gimbal with zoom control.
I've wanted the Ioniq 6 since it was Project Prophecy, I love that they didn't actually change TOO much about it! The Mic in the video sounded really nice, levelled the frequencies of your voice out, not too bassy or high and I'm going to assume the second thing you did different was actual recording?!
Nope ... the Prophecy is the pre-production inspiration and looked much better vs the Ioniq 6. They removed too much from the Prophecy. Look for some videos on it and you'll understand.
Took one out for a test drive and was blown away. A real joy to drive. Acceleration! Design is superb. The back seat is the tradeoff for the aerodynamics. The home charger and installation are the issue, plus new battery technology and long term wear. A lease might be the answer.
I've never owned a car in my life (I'm 64) and have generally never been so interested in cars. However, when the IONIQ 6 was announced last year it made me take notice and I've since become more interested in cars. Kyle at Out of Spec Reviews goes out of his way to say how ugly he thinks it is and all I can think is, are we looking at the same car??? I love the design. I would have no interest in getting an SUV or crossover. Were I in the market for a car, I would definitely consider the IONIQ 6.
The design would be like if someone wanted a taycan but couldnt effort one so they got this instead. i love this design waaayyyy more than the 5 even tho theyre not the same type of car. i dig this
I think it will be awesome if you could host a comparision table on the specs and your review score by categories. For all the cars you reviewed so far.
Love the Ioniq6...but the Ioniq5 is more my thing with the added space. Kia EV6 is also pretty awesome too.. tough choice. One thing is for sure, Hyundai / Kia / Genesis fraternal triplets are absolutely killing it right now.. Keep up the amazing work
Great video like always! Just feel like you should start mentioning some details of the other trims of the cars in these videos! It would have been cool to talk about the lowest trim of these having 360 miles of range.
If you know, why does he need to mention it? He's not obligated to mention anything outside of what he likes considering it's quite literally free advertising.
Owner of an Ioniq 5 here. I wouldn’t trade my EV with ANY other car. I love the space and the ride comfort of my vehicle without compromising for outlandish kWh. I have been noticing that my consumption is in the neighborhood of 4.0/4.2 kWh, and I get MORE mileage than what Hyundai predicted. The real issue of EVs is not the range, but the infrastructure accessibility to charge it. Electrify America has plenty of chargers here where I live, but most of them are out of service since there are no people who fix them. I have spoken with a maintenance person from EA and he told me that he is 1 of 2 people who repair in a 400 mile radius. It’s not a problem for me since I charge my Ioniq 5 at home, but it has been challenging to trust the grid while doing longer trips. Going back to the car, I have never been a fan of sedans, however, if you are in the market to change yours, I EXTREMELY recommend going electric. You will never drive a gas powered vehicle. At least I will never.
Drove the RWD version of this car around 2 weeks ago( in the EU). Its pretty comfortable, drives quite nice, some critisisms the seat feels like it should be able to go lower but stops somewhat high, also with the recent price drops on the Tesla cars i don't know if the 60k (local price incl vat) Ioniq 6 offers better value over the 52k (incl vat) long range Tesla model 3... Hard to choose which to go with
52k is for performance Model 3 not long range. Soon they will relaunch long range at even cheaper price but tbh 36250$ Model 3 after tax credit is the best deal right now
I usually stick to sedans, but if it were between the 5 and 6, I’d have to choose the Ioniq 5. It’s not really an SUV like they market it to be, and it really just looks like a large hot hatch with some really cool styling
The key is actually the "H" logo that's on Hyundai Cas. The buttons are the empty spaces in the logo (You have to turn the oval shaped key that you're holding sideways to see it)
I chose the ioniq 5 over then 6 just last week. And the mileage you get will adjust based on your driving. I have the awd version and it was supposed to only get something like 267 miles for 100% charge. I charged up to 90% and the range says I’ll get 300 miles. I drive mixed surface streets/highway and drive regular. Not heavy footed.
I have had the AWD Ioniq 5 since last summer and average 295-310 miles of range, well over the estimated 256 miles. There are ways to use it as a RWD to add range, I suspect Ioniq 6 will be similar
It's funny to think Toyota is nowhere to be seen in the EV segment. Hyundai is well-placed to take a big chunk of this market. They nailed it with the Hyundai Kona as well. Crazy efficiency/mileage
It baffles me that Toyota isn't jumping at the chance to keep their market share. Just recently, I saw a few articles showing that the Tesla Model Y has sold almost as many cars as a Toyota Corolla. And if the sales continue, can possibly even surpass the Corolla as the most popular vehicle on the road.
The mic is a great improvement. The second thing is some kind of phone grip for video shooting? Loved the design! From the outside, looks like a Citroën with Renault's headlights and Porsche's rear. But is the interior design the one that gets my hopes high for the future. It's functional, no nonsense. Does not tries to impress, just to function. The type of interior I would love to see in affordable EVs... when they do become affordable.
I prefer a crossover as I get older, but I don't feel the looks of the Ioniq 5 at all. This looks MUCH better. If I had $50k to spend none of those small niggles would bother me. Compared to my 2 Land Rovers, my Subaru, and my C6 corvette, that thing is built like an S-Class! I like it. And happy to see more minimalism and "regular car" happening in the EV space. I liked the idea of an ID4 for the same reason. I don't want to announce to the world I'm driving a computer from the FUTURE. I just want a good and functional car.
The rear end is giving me major Merkur XR4Ti vibes, which was a great looking car for the time. The double spoiler rear end instantly reminded me of the Merkur.
Funny; I just saw a commercial for one and immediately came to your channel to find it. I thought it looks really cool, looking forward to learn more from you.
I really like the look of this car. That swooping arc reminds me of Porsche. I was considering the Ioniq 5 and noticed the same type of materials that you mention in this video. Plus the dealers in my area have a $10k markup over MSRP. I eventually went with the VW ID.4. I hope you get a chance to review one.
I had an Ioniq 5 reserved but the dealership was getting some Ioniq 6's coming in before my 5 was supposed to. So we asked if we could switch and we have. Couple of the reasons why: style of the 6 over 5 we liked a little more, being able to get the 6 before the 5, for us, was big (we've been waiting since October 22), and we felt we would lose a little space in the trunk of the 6 vs 5, but we were ok with that. We're not taking major road trips all the time. Should work out just fine for us. We are very excited.
Audio is leagues better! Mic helped a lot. Dead cat outside effectively eliminated wind noise. Seemed less shaky too? Colour temperature was fluctuating a bit though.
0:03 the real answer to the question is because you dont actually need a massive SUV or a truck for your day to day life like all you Americans seem to think for some reason.
I feel like it's a bit disingenuous not to mention that the $50k+ version is the top end model. Or that the base model with big battery has excellent range and incredible efficiency (something very important to EV buyers on a budget).
It would have been nice to mention that the cheapest version rn (SE) has 360 miles of range! I think that's going to be the most popular trim that people buy.
Agree. Unfortunately that is its best feature. Too bad they stripped that trim level down so much on other features.
360 mile range is the only reason I would choose it over the other cars on this platform.
I've read that wheel size is the main contributor to the range between trims. Someone should get the highest trim level on the RWD and swap out the wheels and test it out for us.
Nearly 580km of range for the cheapest model? That's really good

The IONIQ 6 is an amazing car. Range shouldn't be an issue as it's VERY commonly used as a taxi in South Korea. This thing drives all around the big city from day to night without a need to recharge in between. Had the chance to hail one during my trip there last week and absolutely loved the ride.

250 miles is only for this top trim, the RWD with same battery size is something around 360 miles which is pretty impressive actually.
And the AWD with smaller wheels and less premium features can also get something around 315 miles.
So, the range is pretty good if you choose small wheels or RWD or both.

I just bought this vehicle. I totally fell in ❤ with this car the moment I saw it in person. It gave me the feel of Audi A7.

Congrats on your new car! It seems like you're getting impressive range numbers, well beyond the official estimates, which is fantastic.

The RWD Ioniq6 has a 'frunk' capacity of something like 45 litres. 20 is for the AWD models.

I think he used some kind of gimbal coz it is really stable and is able to shift the camera around inside the cabin without needing to awkwardly switch hands. He's also able to shift seamlessly from a regular to a telephoto lens. And there's also the mid-chest shots too so something mechanical for sure

Hyundai and Kia are really stepping their game up and I’m all for it!

Yeah, kinda agree. I'm a sedan guy (owning the original Ioniq HEV) but I Stille prefer the 5 for it's practically (and its looks)

I was someone who complained about your mic before. It is so much better now and I don't think it ruins the "amateur vibe".
Much better audio with this new mic, appreciated!!
I have had the AWD Ioniq 5 since last summer and average 295-310 miles of range, well over the estimated 256 miles. There are ways to use it as a RWD to add range, I suspect Ioniq 6 will be similar
Assuming you aren't in cold weather?
@@bkdp I'm assuming he lives in AZ lol
@@natec1 oh duh. My bad. Didn't even pay attention to the username.
My GOM usually reads 340 in my RWD Ioniq 5 when I charge to 80%. I'm also in a warm climate.
I went to my local Hyundai dealership yesterday and got a chance to sit in one. It's a very impressive car on the inside and out.
Having to plug in for car play is just ridiculous in 2023! Come on that is a deal breaker.
Those small WHAT
If you prefer crossovers for getting in and out of the car maybe try going into the car butt first.
In Future we‘ll See this Kind of efficient Design more often. Pretty ok for me :)
I also like it
Its nice! 👌
It's a boring, wind tunnel design, similar to the VW ID.7. Not enthralled by the exterior design.
The rear end is giving me major Merkur XR4Ti vibes, which was a great looking car for the time. The double spoiler rear end instantly reminded me of the Merkur.
It looks like they combined a Lamborghini front, a Porsche rear and a VW Beetle body.
I love how MKBHD does better car reviews than auto dealers.
Funny; I just saw a commercial for one and immediately came to your channel to find it. I thought it looks really cool, looking forward to learn more from you.
You just know car is super similar when MKBHD calls it Ionic 5 while reviewing a Ionic 6 😂 3:37
2:20 too
this car and the ionic 5 aren't really similar at all tho visually...
Just came here looking if anyone else realized 😅
It's not similar at all. Merely a mistaken on his part.
🤣
I like that you end all your videos with "Peace." Because, you know, we need a lot more of that, 100%. Awesome video.
Literally took the works out of my mouth bro
If you didn't know that the key phob is the Hyundai logo
I really like the look of this car. That swooping arc reminds me of Porsche. I was considering the Ioniq 5 and noticed the same type of materials that you mention in this video. Plus the dealers in my area have a $10k markup over MSRP. I eventually went with the VW ID.4. I hope you get a chance to review one.
Interesting, here in South Florida both the 5 and 6 are going for MSRP and then the 7500 lease incentive on top of that
I think you are filming with a 4K and/or 8K video!! Really crisp picture and very highly detailed!
damn really awesome design! love how much they made the ioniq 5 look like the ioniq 6
My exact thought 😂
I had an Ioniq 5 reserved but the dealership was getting some Ioniq 6's coming in before my 5 was supposed to. So we asked if we could switch and we have. Couple of the reasons why: style of the 6 over 5 we liked a little more, being able to get the 6 before the 5, for us, was big (we've been waiting since October 22), and we felt we would lose a little space in the trunk of the 6 vs 5, but we were ok with that. We're not taking major road trips all the time. Should work out just fine for us. We are very excited.
FINALLY!!! A second glove box inconveniently located under the hood!! Thank you Hyundai!!
6 nice! quick edit!! :D
right?
It said 5 right? lol
Here before he corrected the Title
The pixel design is so cute!
2:21 called it an Ionic 5. Not nitpicking. I absolutely dig your reviews of tech and autos. Just an observation. Great work Sir.
Audio is leagues better! Mic helped a lot. Dead cat outside effectively eliminated wind noise. Seemed less shaky too? Colour temperature was fluctuating a bit though.
What a beautiful car. Hopefully it qualifies for the EV credit in the next few years.
I really like this car. If I could afford it, I'd definitely consider it in my options for an EV.
Actually I think the key is dope as it is shaped like the logo of the brand with the « H »
The microphone sounds great!! Great video as always, cheers!
0:03 the real answer to the question is because you dont actually need a massive SUV or a truck for your day to day life like all you Americans seem to think for some reason.
Huge agree. Did you know the average pickup driver tows something LESS THAN ONCE A YEAR
@@nothingtoseehere93 Ok, but SUVs are always nice
You tried to blur and censor the speed here too! What is wrong with you?!?!?
I LOVE The Design!🌞👍🏿🙌🏾👏🏾
I feel like it's a bit disingenuous not to mention that the $50k+ version is the top end model. Or that the base model with big battery has excellent range and incredible efficiency (something very important to EV buyers on a budget).
Anyone buying one of these will have a difficult time getting it at or below MSRP in the U.S.A.
