This is a great lesson. I have struggled with the finger roll technique and for whatever reason this lesson made it so much easier for me. Your examples are great....thanks!
Rossco - another great vid, i'm teaching myself this one at the moment. With this practice my left hand and fingers are getting stronger which is a huge benefit for my piano playing! Question @ 2:35 onwards, the fills that you're playing there - have you got a tutorial on that? Cheers dude.
hello Ross, you are such an amazing teacher !!! I enjoy every step of the learning process on your channel. You have this hability to make easy learning difficult rythm. Thank you so much. If you travel near Paris I would be glad to meet you and listenning to your cajon live . See you et bravo >:o)
Ross, which hand is your dominant hand? Did you use any other methods to strengthen your weaker hand? That's the trouble I am having. You are a fantastic percussionist and I very greatly enjoy your videos, they are extremely helpful!
It’s to do with the spacing of the notes in the group. A herta has 2 close notes notes followed by two far notes (16ths and then 32nds). Apart from the two notes at the front (the drag), the notes in the ratamacue are evenly spaced.

Hey Ross, what's the difference between this and the Herta triplets apart from the 2 notes in the front?
