Hey fellow Melbournian! Great videos! They make playing the cajon fun and less challenging. Your technique of playing enhances your lessons. Your new videos are also much easier to follow. Thank you. Keep it up.
I love your sound and your way to teach. I'm new with the Cajon and thanks to you I have a new passion beside the drums. Thanks. Francesco from Italy Nick John French West

I am getting one for Christmas. How do you know when it is tuned? Does it come tuned? I am going to use your videos to help me get started, but can you make a video about tuning it maybe?
Awesome video!!!! Can you play something as a fusion of Indian And Western. I love yoyr videos and even sometimes use your tips for solo and orchestra performances. Your fusion would help me a lot. Thanks!!
Hey so I've been drumming for years, and I'm finally looking to buy a cajon. Only problem is that I have no idea what to look for in a cajon or where to buy one. Any tips?
@Rossco9992 Thanks for these lessons I also tried using your tutorial by turning my guitar upside down to make a cajon and blocking off the strings and worked out quite well. its uploaded and called Olive on my site. (I decided not to sing this time) I thought it was a bit cheeky sampling your drum beat and not trying to learn myself. I hope you get a lot of hits on your channel its great
Hi Ross, great video. I am at a very beginner level of playing Cajon. I have a request for you. Kindly slow down the tempo further when you are explaining the beats, so that it is easier and faster for guys like me to follow!! Thanks
Hi I made a track in audacity (Valerie by the Zoutons) by looping your brilliant cajon drum lesson, would you like to hear it??? I could upload it onto youtube, I used the opening beat to your video which has less swing as you say but the rhythm was perfect.
Im almost positive that when its name was first given in Peru they did not call it "Cajon Peruano"...lol, That's like insinuating that the First Ford was called "American Ford Model T"
The best plan in that case could be playing along with music and learning as much as you can by ear as well as making the most of all of the free videos here on UA-cam.
Yes ban people who say things you disagree with, then we can start burning books you don't like....it will be great. Then maybe we can really ramp things up and start burning people we don't like, and their boxes with them :P
*Respect for know how to play the CAJON is an Peruvian instrument, that backs a couple hundreds of years, and is the mixture of the African culture with the indigenan (I think I'm writing this wrong) Peruvian culture*
It's a great beat. Lovely when it speeds up and gets some swing in it.

I’m still learning too and experimenting when I can. It’s a beautiful instrument for creating nice rhythms. Thanks for your comment.
your cajon sounds different. is it because you're leaning backwards?
can you make the not..??

It's not really a tutorial for you're not going through the steps and only in the beginning show it in a slow (but still too fast) way.
aaaah you're too fast for me.i'm trying it out the very first time, never played drums or cajon before...i can't follow with my hands :/
Least hip hop thing online. Lol jk
Better play drums . If you dont play Marinera,Landò,Festejo,Vals, you don t play cajòn .Period.
