I mainly fish in freshwater lakes and rivers in Florida for crappie, bass, bluegill, catfish, shellcracker, panfish and anything else that will bite (I'm not that picky!).
I fish out of my 2015 Carolina Skiff JV17 with my Dad "TY" who can be seen in a lot of my videos.
I use live bait, artificials, natural baits- you name it. I like all methods, tactics, styles, and species. I just love to fish! 🎣

I have had the 3,000 size KastKing Spartacus 2 spinning reel for quite awhile now and after a whole year and a half of use it's still holding up amazing.
Does it have a direct drive handle
New to Kastking products. Just ordered the Royale advantage rod in 7ft medium and the Royale glory spinning 3000 reel. I also got the centron combo in 6'6. Both were on sale for black friday. I heard mixed reviews about Kastking online so I hope they work out for me but for the price I said I'll give it a go. If so Im getting this model in a medium heavy rod and 3000 reel next! It's what I really wanted but was in need of a finesse/wacky rig rod and a crankbait rod 1st. I will use this as a jig type rod throwing craws and other texas rigs and such. My fav color too! Lol
KastKing centron is one of my favorite little spinning reels! I think they make a great product for the price/value. Good luck!

What do you think about the pole
It's not bad. A little bulky for lighter applications but a solid all-around rod.
Follow up on using it for saltwater?
I haven't had a chance to take it out on salt yet, been too busy but will soon!

Have not used it in saltwater yet...Should be fine though as long as your rinse each time after use! Great little reel, very sturdy.
10lb braid? Isn't it rated for 20-30 lb?
Yeah, its rated up to 40 actually. I just happen to have 10 lb braid, and prefer lighter lines in most cases. Casts great too!
@@PanfishNation I picked up the 2000 and matching spartacus 6'8 ml rod. I landed here searching for what line to load. I assume a 10lb braid would work. Could I go 8lb? I'm trying to stay in the 1/8-3/8 oz bait range.

Could be? Im not sure, I know a lot of the reels are made in the same factories overseas.
Looks like the new Pfluger President with more drag , more bearings and a much higher gear ratio. It definitely looks like the new Okuma Cyelio with that color. It still has higher gear , bearings and drag. The Spartacus is completely ixp5 waterproof though.
