I can agree that the noise that it makes whenever you reel is a little bothersome but over all for $50 reel it’s not bad and it’s actually my first baitcasting reel as well loved the review and I love the channel btw keep it up 🙌🙌

Sounds like an anti reverse backup pawl.Not sure it could be something else but it’ll be on the anti reverse ratchet gear below the main gear and will be slightly bent and will be dragging on that gear
Hello from Japan! I've been using Shimano and Daiwa reels so far, but since I started using this reel, I've started to feel stupid about paying such a high price for Shimano and Daiwa. Of course, the performance and operability are inferior to Shimano and Daiwa, but I think it is sufficient for my needs. It's no fun if you only use expensive reels. I think this reel has a finish that exceeds the price.

It's been a year, how's the reel?
Stunning spot, awesome video and very good reel, man! I've just buy it for 22€. I think it's a good deal. I will probably use it for Spinnerbait combo. Do you think that this reel can also work on Shallow Crankbait combo or it's too fast for this technique? The idea is also to change spool bearing with hybrid ceramic, changing also the grease with a lithium grease in way to increase performance and smoothness.

Igot a Royal Legend2 and was shocked on how easy to use it. I got some top Japanese brand and Abu Mgx not recommended to use in saltwater.
I'll buy the Spartacus Pro soon with its twin braking

theyre definitely solid reels. Ive had a few and they've treated me well. Fantastic for beginners.
Yeah so far thats what everyone has said so maybe I got a defective one or something. Other than the clicking noise tho it felt like a good reel!

i use nothing but kastking all way back from there old reels to there new stuff and never had a problem with any of it. from my old BX1000 to the new megajaws elites, rovers,Blue/white spinning reel (cant remember the name),Pontus baitfeeder reel, and there old black and gold spinning reels.
the only reel i didn't like was brutus baitcaster due to the cheap feel it had. but i love the bassinator elites as well and the deadbolt baitcasters.
the speed demon/speed demon pro and the speed demon elite were also great.

Have you tried the zypher bfs reel? Been thinking about getting into bfs and saw they had a budget reel
@@jamiehegarty_ yeah i heard that too. I'd reach out to there customer service and let them know about clicking noise, whenever i got a new reel from them i broke it down and oil/greased due it coming from factory some of them made a grinding noise but after reoiling/regreasing they were all quiet. i haven't tried the spinning reel bfs version nor the bfs baitcaster version, but i want the baitcaster bfs for skipping.

😂😂 well that’s only cause i was doing the review. Normally even when i am on em i got at least 5-6 rods on deck lol
It's actually reinforced nylon which means it's nylon plastic reinforced with graphite composite.
With kastking my experiences is good but in the begging it’s a good reel for like 3-5 months then after it’s not good like it’s either you can reel it handle get loose or something else
Yeah this one felt really good for the first 30 minuets then that weird clicking noise started happening
Oil it and Weekly maintenance will solved those problems
just got this reel, threw a 1/4 oz jerk bait and I mean this reel was able to make a 20/30 yard cast hardly thumbing the spool

No unfortunately not, but I think it was just a fluke reel. I’ve had lots of people say this reel is great and I actually just tried out another KastKing reel around the same price range and it was preformed great so far! So I’llgive KastKing the benefit of the doubt on this one!
