@@realpopcaan If you have the latest update on your computer diagnostic that's it. Of course this doesn't apply to all equipment. But people in JA have computers that can assist in replacing the brakes for the audi and others

Bwoi, sounds like price gouging. The labour cost is ridiculous just to change the brake pads. I'd say to get the brake pads online and check Roland for advice on the matter.
Safa, your pocket is tall. Not everyone can do like you, but more blessings to you. Enjoy your wealth, you worked hard for it. A lot of us couldn't go half way the athletic field. ❤
Think Asafa's saying his warranty will be voided if h doesn't change pads with their scheduled services. Think Asafa knows plenty of mechanics outside of audi
Cuzzo, $213,174 for brakes?! Did they coat them in Usain Bolt's lightning?! Can't help but think they gave you the "Powell" price markup! LOL #Sub10BrakeJob
That’s what happen at the dealership. Even a part that cost me 5k they take over 59k to change it. Claiming the labor hours it takes to get it out and put the new one in.
ATL service cost is ridiculous. As soon as my warranty was up on my Honda I took it to a regular mechanic shop to change oil and filter and those basic stuff. There is absolutely no genuine reason for their hyper inflated cost. Total madness! That's a scam period!
There are other scan tools out there that can access the ECM to put in service mode or you could try to disconnect the electric connector on the caliper from the harness and apply 12volts to it changing the polarity will either extend or retract but again be careful , I have seen a Audi lock up and stuck on lift with the wheels unable to move and we caught hell to get it of the lift and up unto a tow truck just to take it back to the dealer
Asafa! man I have a Q7 45 here in the US, wifey has a Q5 and our Audi Care just ran out so mi a clench already fi when di bill come at next service, pray fi me lol 😂
My q7 has an electric park brake aswell. I have changed Audi BMW and VW brakes and they are expensive pads so these prices looks ok with dealer mark up, of course you can get youe own pads online cheaper, now for the service charge I thing for 50 grand Its a bit steep but diagonostics and to provide a lift for the car and dealers like to use brake cleaner, its a bit steep on labour cost but the parts are close. It depends on the year, for the newer cars the won’t be able to, you would literally have to have a Audi technician login and Audi oem scan tool
