I love your videos and this one in particular. I like how you go off the beaten path to get great footage. Keep up the good work!
I love Jamaican food and people, last year was my first time in Montego Bay. We stayed in an airbnb, very reasonable price. Toked the best bud ever. The best jerk chicken. Had sugar cane juice from a roadside vendor. Yummy. Went to the marketplace for groceries and it felt like I was in West Africa again. Swam in the sea. Drove to Oche Rios. When it came time to get a few things to bring home, wanted to buy from my people...Very hard to do. As I looked over to where the tourist hotels, nightlife, and shopping; I saw we didn't own anything. It wasn't hard for me to see the inequities. I felt the plantation vibe. It made me sad. We must rise! ❤🖤💚

The pudding shop is a good example here of something working but the process (aesthetics and manner) of doing business remaining stagnant. I am a British Jamaican, and it’s been some time since I’ve been able to go back to my second home. This brought back wonderful memories. Thank you! As is said in Jamdown, “wi likkle but wi tallawah”❤.
Harmony Park beach in Montego Bay is a fairly new, beautiful and free beach, as are most beaches all around the island. Some public beaches sometimes make a small charge which goes towards the maintenance and cleaning of the beach which would otherwise be as mess. Establishments such as Doctors Cave run businesses and so make a charge for their facility. All visitors also have to pay for the facilities provided but some local people always want something for nothing and complain when they don’t get it! Beaches in Jamaica are all over the island and aren’t just concentrated in tourist areas with hotels, and they’re all free, so that’s why it’s not logical to make such a statement. It’s best to get facts before repeating what some disgruntled people say.
@@l.t.3857 he saw it on UA-cam from people who most of them don't know anything, instead of listening to people and posting inaccurate information, find people who are more knowledgeable about the topic, I have listened to some Jamaicans when they are interviewing them, and as a Jamaican who is also a student of history, I have concluded that many of those Jamaicans that they interviewed most of the times don't know anything.
That's so true. Many Jamaicans who did not get the opportunity to know their country, are giving information about same. The sad thing is that they repeat what they have heard, sometimes not realizing that it is incorrect.
I live in Las Vegs, and as a Jamaican, I still bake my potato pudding. Having a piece right now as I speak. Love it. Thanks Tayo for showcasing Jamaican culture. This Carribean Country is outstanding and has the most admirable people. This video showcases Montego Bay in its true essence, thanks Tayo for having such an eye for detail and sharing it.
Fun fact: Jamaica is the only country where men cooked at higher levels than women. The women are great cooks in my culture but top tier cooks with the men. Nothing like you see in America.
@@BlackBeauty-yl8uq You know that's only partially, they will cook and even do some house chores but the women are still the one expected to do most things.
@tayo . Love your video but there are a lot of information that was given to you that's not true. Most of the houses , especially the ones that you are talking about are built by the NHT or developers in Jamaica, not the Chinese. Those homes are usually owned by Jamaicans who choose to rent them out. While it is true that you have to pay for certain beach access, that's not true for everything. two of the nicest beaches in Mobay are public beaches, The Harmony Park and Dead end. Most of the beaches on the South Coast are also free. Also, most people who are telling you the information are making stuff up so you can't believe everything that is told to you.
Yeah, that last part! People never say "I don't know", they'll just make up an answer, so research before you go and don't rely on locals to know everything about where they live (I don't know everything about where I live, so that's normal).
The National Dish of Jamaica - Ackee & Saltfish. When it is cooked at the hotel it is really prepared for the Tourist palate. Let the brother take you to a restaurant or his wife to cook you the authentic way as it will not be so salty. On your plate you had ackee & saltfish, callaloo ( which is like spinach) with onion, green banana, yellow yam, pumpkin and cornmeal dumpling.
I have always loved Jamaica, but this video gave me a million reasons more to love this great country. The people are so friendly…love from Nigeria y'all Jamaicans. Thank you Tayo for taking us on this journey…peace✌️
Great video despite a couple of inaccuracies. I’m not sure who built that housing development but it was built on behalf of the housing agency of Jamaica to be sold to Jamaicans. The Chinese may build things for Jamaica but don’t believe the narrative that they own everything.
Well said. In fact, as a Nigerian, the presenter should know that our people are similar and like to exaggerate for their own personal and group agendas.
@@TayoAinaFilms No problem. I really hope you return to Jamaica. It is a shame about the beach access limitations but the government are trying to improve the situation by upgrading the many beaches Jamaicans can access. Harmony beach in Montego Bay is a shining example of that. One love ❤️

Absolutely love it there. Montego Bay has a special place in my heart.I think the next big thing will be A.I. For enduring growth akin to META, it's vital to avoid impulsive decisions driven by short-term fluctuations. Prioritize patience and a long-term perspective consider financial advisory for informed buying and selling decisions.
Keeping money in the bank is like paying banks and the Government. Here's how it works: The bank gives out your money as loan, and charge interest obviously higher than inflation rate, and then give you, the depositor, interest lower than inflation rate. That means net loss for you. That is why I prefer to invest, and on average, my advisor makes returns that always beats inflation!

Exactly, he doesn't know anything, but is quick to put information out there that is incorrect.
I don’t think he understands how much misinformation this video has..
I live in Las Vegs, and as a Jamaican, I still bake my potato pudding. Having a piece right now as I speak. Love it. Thanks Tayo for showcasing Jamaican culture. Tayo, Africa is on my bucket list to visit. Maybe Ghana, but still nt sure as yet. I love your insight of other counties. Blessings always ❤❤❤❤❤
Jamaica is filled with beautiful people, feels like i am travelling along with you.
That pudding spot is not in montego bay bro ...its in st ann.....
If you come back, go to the Blue Lagoon and Port Antonio. Thanks for showing Jamaica!
It's surprising how expensive it is to vacation there considering the favorable exchange ratio. This video has certainly blunted my enthusiasm.
🎉❤
This guy will be giving us back to back
My GOD MAN JAMAICA MAN LOVE YOU MAN ,👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿from New York
I love your presentions and quality videos. Top notch 👌
Love how you alway show the history never foget out enemies
"Our enemies "? Do you mean the Africans who captured and sold other Africans to Europeans?
Or do you mean the Europeans who brought the Africans to Jamaica? Or do you mean everyone?
When Tayo makes details travel video like this ehn 😍😍😍💯💯💯! It’s natural and super interesting
Glad to let you guys know that I have now added Jamaica to my bucket list! One love❤
Would love to see you in Dominica one great job
We went to Montego Bay for a week. We loved it so much that we went to Negril on our next vacation. I LOOOVE the food, conch, patties, fruit, Ital, coco bread, festival, sooo delicious! The best rum and HERBS! The music is incredible, people are smiling and dancing. I miss it!
Back to Back shiiiii❤️❤️❤️💯💯💯🥂🥂🥂…. Love the consistency 💯❤️
Plenty of footage and content. Well done Tayo Aina.
I have never been it’s on my bucket list list for next year
Jamaica is so lovely. It's unbelievable.
This Carribean Country is outstanding and has the most admirable people. This video showcases Montego Bay in its true essence, thanks Tayo for having such an eye for detail and sharing it.
Yaaaaaayyyy, oil dey your head. Part 2 is so needed. Thank youuuuuuuuuuuu Mr B***
How wish I can give this video a million likes 👍 Tayo Aina to the world
How wish you video is longer😂 I too enjoy am
Grate story telling ❤. looking forward to visiting Jamaica in the future. Good job keep doing the best MR AI
Thank tayo! We’re travelling the world through you
Places dey this world sha.
The best video I've ever seen about Jamaica! I've been going to Jamaica, mostly Negril, for over 25 years. Great video!❤
Kudos to you, Tayo.
I noticed that most of the restaurants have male chefs. Love it!
Love to visit Jamaica someday
Fun fact: Jamaica is the only country where men cooked at higher levels than women. The women are great cooks in my culture but top tier cooks with the men. Nothing like you see in America.
Yap: our men are highly domesticated.
@@BlackBeauty-yl8uq You know that's only partially, they will cook and even do some house chores but the women are still the one expected to do most things.
Wow. I'm learning. Beautiful 😍
Most chefs around the world are men.
i spent 3' weeks at heathenism II and it was nice
False prophet and false information spread more than the truth.
I really love to be traveling the world like you doing, I want to see the beautiful world of ours
That's what happens when you speak to some Jamaicans, they'd rather make stuff up than tell you that they don't know.
Thanks for the info!
One love ❤️
@@kevinchristian1547he needs to visit St Kitts since he got his passport there.
Also, a traveler, Jamaica, is my most favorite place to visit. I'm no longer an American, I'm Jamerican, and I love it!! Montego Bay is awesome and beautiful. The food, the historical sites, and the excursions alike are most gratifying.
Beautiful video! Thanks for sharing
Thank you Tayo! My name is Sharpe through my Jamaican father born on Orange street Jamaica, he moved to England during the second world war, married an English woman where I was born an only child bearing the famous Jamaican name of Sharpe, however through this great video I now know how I got my slave name of Sharpe!
Jamaica 🇯🇲 soon come for sure! Nuff love
I truely appreciate the representation of my hometown at the same time reflecting back at how fortunate I was to be raised in paradise on earth.
Dunn River water is really really cold.lol
It's a river, River water is always cold.
Thanks for shining a light on the cost of living for locals. Similar to Hawaii, tourism and foreign investment have made it really hard for many locals. Despite the hardships, i still love the island and ppl so much. We likkle, but we tallawahh!!
True i live in Hawaii. I say Jamaica is expensive. Imagine Hawaii is known as the most expensive place in the US. Especially food. So I give my shock when I see food prices same or even more expensive then here. Like pear one was like $3-$4 US
Man I hope you got to experience carnival which was yesterday! 😢
This country is very beautiful and it shows they are friendly in this
Country I can’t wait to go to country like this and explore and travel round the world.
Tayo budget pass $1000 for once na 😂. Lovely video, huge fan 💙
For once na😂
As a Nigerian Jamaican you did a great protrayal of my other country! Bless up!!
11:23 Bring your own with you so both of you can enjoy together!

Jamaica has everthing one would wish beautifu sea, river food ,very green trees all over ,water falls beautiful people.Blessed country
I would visit Jamaica to enjoy their foods. Jerk chicken is a must have, off topic just sharing my 2cents Stocks in the short term look more likely to move downward. I Just inherited $500k which I Look forward to invest. what stocks should I look into as a newbie to safely grow my money?

That Indian guy said Jamaica is more expensive than America that's not true. A nice Hotel in America is more than $200.00 per night and its not all-inclusive, while in Jamaica i stayed at all-inclusive Hotel for $200.00 per night.
I paid $500 US for one night in SC. America is expensive
I paid $500 US for one night in SC. America is expensive too. No wonder people getting homeless by the hour here lol
Thanks for showing Montego Bay, Jamaica. I appreciate the history of Jamaica, and the way that the Black Jamaicans were treated by the British made me cry. However, I’m accustomed to the U.S., so I probably would not go there. 😁🇺🇸
I gave this video a 👍🏽 and subscribed, based on your efforts.
Lately Tayo you are getting more views than Wode Maya! Good job luv your content watching from Namibia.
Wode Maya is sometimes a little childish, hard to watch by people of my age. Tayo is the best of the best not only in Africa but in the world. I am 50 and I would like meeting this extraordinary folk one day. His videos are so enjoyable and informative for every age group.
Why you people love to compare so much, quite obvious, you haven't been watching Wode Mayo video.
@@christianmpassi3450what this person said about Wode Maya videos is incorrect, look at the three videos that Wode Maya put out on Jamaica, he is getting over five hundred thousands views, the one that he doesn't get lots of views, are those short videos, and some of the got lots of views, and look at the latest one that he did about Asafa Powell, amazing, obvious you don't like Wode Maya, but to compare his videos with Africa Tigress is ridiculous, Wode Maya videos are at a different level, and look at the support he gets compared to what Tayo got, please Wode Maya is at a different level from those other African UA-camrs, he is on a mission, and he is not in any competition, and I am sure you are a Kenyan.
@@christianmpassi3450you should stop comparing Tayo and Wode. The two of them are FRIENDS. Infact, Tayo was in Jamaica when Wode and Miss Trudy were there. The even spent time together. Please don't be fooled and stop causing unnecessary division. Tayo and Wode are both inspirational young men representing Africa at large. Wode has his own audience and path. "Africa to the World is a movement" and he has inspired many people to move back to Africa and invest in Africa. He has already interviewed 3 president and lots of political figures and entrepreneurs. Tayo is on mission to travel around the world and he has inspired many young people. Tayo has interviewed Davido the biggest afrobeat star. So, both Tayo and Wode are phenomenal young respectful West African men who support and respect each other.
