After years working out of my double #garage at home it's now time to upgrade the #workshop to something bigger and better which should last me for years to come. After hunting for the right space for a long time I eventually found somewhere but it needs a lot of work to make it useable for #rebuilding #cars

One thing I would have done is covered the celling with a cheap material, probably black, which would reduce the rain noise, remove the daylight, and make the lights pop more against it. Maybe something for the future.

We have same type of unit and mate you need some clouds or even foam tiles up on ceiling 1) rain noise is immense 2) lot of condensation with those roofs! Congratulations with the new unit!!

Absolutely unbelievable upgrade Chris! I’m looking forward to seeing the projects you bring to this super workshop!
If youre using the Caddy more you should do a multi-function steering wheel and cruise control retrofit. I did it on a mk6 golf for around £100ish with a second hand mf steering wheel and clock spring which includes the control module and indicator stocks with the cruise control button. Then coded it with obdeleven. Just took time finding the parts but im sure for a bit more money you could just search a retrofit kit. Easy sponsored video for you.

Frame out the walls with a timber frame, line it with sound deadening (rockwool or similar) then cover with fabric or acoustic plaster boarding! Any soft furnishing in there will make a huge difference with the reverberation! Anything shiney is reflective in regards to sound
I’m hoping another potential sponsor sees this and helps with the insulation. Also, I hope he gets an air conditioner sponsor because that metal roof will heat up faster than a junkies spoon in the summer.
