@@christophersimms9128 Perhaps. I'd be fine with seeing more stories in the same world, but I'm not sure if a story as compelling as Kaneki's would be possible, given that we've seen this world through Kaneki's mind, in incredible detail.
Though, in terms of supplementary material, I'd like to know more about the Washuu, how they migrated across the generations from Arabia to Japan (iirc).

a story should never be written for a business it should be written purely out of passion and love for your own work. i think that if sui ishida wasn't writing the manga with the pressure of a deadline every week he would have had a much better passion for the story.

Ishida did put the words "the end" on the final page of the manga for a reason but if there was a continuation of Tokyo ghoul I wouldn't want it due to the fact it's perfect as it is now, and milking it even further can ruin what beauty it is now..

Brotherhood as in treatment making it more close to the manga after the anime made it too ...anime adaptation. No one's saying to literally call it brotherhood.
Though I wouldn't complain.

The ending was to final for the series in my opinion. The ghoul world isn’t the same now after dragon and humans and ghouls coming together.
Agree... also the way ishida made battles so fast and rushed really showed how he was really tired and wanted to finish off the series :c
You're right, but I think that it would be interesting that Ishida made a spin-off about the rest of the world after the dragon, as you said, the world isn't the same, and I am curious about the other Ghoul groups like Aogiri in the world.

I don't feel that there would be any possibility continuing the story of Tokyo Ghoul. The central point was Kaneki and his struggle to fit into either of the two worlds. It also deeply explored the idea of morality and the endless hate and violence between humans and ghouls, the "broken world" as certain characters refer to it. Tokyo Ghoul: RE's last chapter gave conclusion to both of these problems: The war has ended, humans now peacefully co-exist with ghouls and Kaneki has found his inner peace that he had never had before. Therefore, TG cannot continue, at least not with Kaneki or anyone realted to him as a main character. I, however believe that there will be some sort of spinoff either in the form of short story such as Tokyo Ghould: Jack or perhaps storyline of a completely new character that would serve either as a prequel or would run parallel to the events of TG and TG:RE. I also feel that Ishida Sui could also explore the character of the original One-eyed king or some other important characters such as Eto or even Arima.
Or he could can just sorta show us a chapter or 2 with how the people of the tg feels towards this co excistence scinxe i mean they have been wseing for a while
This is the same sort of mindset I have towards Naruto and in turn the sequel of Boruto. Naruto isn’t as deep per se, but at the end of the day the story was focused on Naruto and in turn (later on anyway) Sasuke’s experiences as ninjas within Konohagukure and later on their world. Two young ninjas dealing with horrible circumstances both through birth and a few years later in their childhood and onwards, including discrimination, isolation and dirty politics. Even though Boruto has some potential in it as a sequel, I just can’t find myself seeing it have as big an impact as Naruto did or in the way DragonBall Z elevated the DragonBall franchise to where it is today.
There's a lot of paths he could go down. He could explore the hatred that Ichika and other ghouls get in school with humans who still don't accept them, or he could explore the isolation that ichika gets in school from BOTH humans and ghouls because of how rare she is, being a natural one eyed ghoul. Could have the humans want to start an uprising against the ghouls now.

The way Tokyo ghoul ended was good.even though it was rushed. Also I haven't seen the anime or read the manga so I still got that to do

If they do make Ichika storyline it better be good because you don't take a anime and expect it to be good so bad idea for bring back Tokyo ghoul but it does put a tear down my eye seeing Tokyo Ghoul go.

like you said, Sui Ishida managed to pull off making Tokyyo Ghoul:Re a successful as the original, for him to continue Part 3 would be another risk. Since the whole story is evolved around Kaneki, there isn't must story left to tell about Kaneki..
But!! I wish Sui Ishida would draw like a 4boxes comic like in Tokyo Ghoul original when some character that died get some extra 'screen times' haha.

As far as I know, they have short stories about Tokyo Ghoul characters. You may look it up! Book 3 doesnt have a English translation though,….
Maybe in the far far future sui will decide to come back to tokyo ghoul with a clear mind and rewrite some of the things he didn't liked or do the next generation but its kinda unlikely. The other possibility is if an anime studio tries to re:adapt tokyo ghoul

I remember I started watching Tokyo Ghoul back 2014 or 2015 then fell off then came back this year and I realized that I stopped on episode 5 of season 1, then I took a dive back into it had to rewatch so I can understand what has been going on, so then this week I finished all the season's in less than 2-3 days I started on Sunday, then by the end of it. I cried so much when finding out that it was coming back😭😭😭😭I'm still sad!

Ever since Tokyo Ghoul finished, I was very emotional to see it ended in a happy ending yet I wanted to see more.
I just finished the show and I’m so sad and happy at the same time, the fact that Touka and Kaneki finally got happiness in their lives together makes me happy🤧

1. Kaneki thinks he can do it alone gets beat up by Arima and shown the reality of the situation. (Jab at Ichigo)
2. Dead characters getting controlled but off screened. (Something something Naruto war Arc)
3. Giving a proper conclusion to it's main character. (Something something a slash and a timeskip Bleach)

Honestly the Tokyo Ghoul:re fighting animation was absolute trash it was so slow and wasnt even as intense and epic as it was in the first 2 seasons. And the whole thing felt rushed like the "anime developers" just wanted to end it. The same kinda thing with the first season even though it didnt seem like it ,it felt rushed. I havent read the manga but I will to have more detail of what Tokyo Ghoul really is. I guess what they say is true, the manga/book is always better than the anime/show/movie. Hopefully we'll get a better version of Tokyo Ghoul but same voice actors , cause' personally i like kaneki's little innocent but deap voice as well as touka. ( Well that was a lot )

(MY OPINION don’t kill me please) I stopped reading TG: Re after I found out that Touka was pregnant (and I wasn’t even that chapter someone spoiled it), because for a long time I disliked Touka (and I still do) I think she got a lot better in TG: Re but I just wasn’t that interested. While reading I was kind of picking up on tiredness or very little spots of laziness/unmotivation It felt like he was kind of tired of his characters, story and like he wanted to end the series. It’s sad that he felt this way about the world he created, but I think it’s for the best. Hopefully now he can take a break, and finally be happy. He created something complex and intricate, I hope he’s proud at least.

I can actually sense midway through tg:re that Ishida seems so burnt out in a lot of panels. Some parts weren’t well-thought out. I kinda felt bad about it, but part of me realized “hey, he tried finishing this so i might as well try finish reading it.”
I still dont understand how touka and kaneki ended up together. I still feel like they were more suitable to be comrades or friends. They’re relationship development feels rushed, honestly. Touka explains she fell for him when kaneki says “if she dies he will be sad”?????? Like huh…..??????????????? Idk……….. but kaneki deserves having a family after what he went through. That being said, im happy he got the ending that he deserves. And im happy sui ishida was able to finish it even though it made him lose insanity mid-way through.

TBH I'm kind of contented of the ending. In my opinion I don't think that Tokyo Ghoul really needs to continue but at the same time I want to see more of Tokyo Ghoul I'm kind of sad that it ended fast and I wished that they applied every detail found in the manga.

Nice video dude, and I completely agree on what you say about the "shonen and seinen"; I also understand and share the point of view about Sui Ishida, it is completely understandable everything that Ishida had to pass to finish the series, and how he felt about that; He has a well-deserved rest and is in all his right not to continue the TG, since after all, the story is already finished and I would not like it to be overexploited in an absurd way ruining everything. Although I have to admit, I feel that the universe of Tokyo Ghoul has a lot of potential that has not been used, not of Kaneki's story, which is already complete; but I would like to see a prequel / spin-off on the original One-Eyed King, on the first Dragons and the origin of the ghouls, the story of Arata, the story of the first ghoul investigators, The story of Amon and Takizawa that we did not see , the full history of Yomo, Uta and Arima, Washuu, etc. I would also like a sequel / prequel / spin-off or whatever about the rest of the world, since there are many important things that are mentioned in the story that happen outside Japan, for example, Germany, is a key place for the story and I would like to see more about that. Anyway, I understand and completely respect Ishida and his thoughts about TG, it's just that I would have liked to see more of the universe of the series.

Man it truly saddens me on how this show could have been true seinen greatness in the long run... I would love to see more Tokyo ghoul content from Sui Ishida but I just get the feeling that he's probably had enough of it, but you never know though, Ishida could definitely surprise everyone with some light novels or something. Considering the reason Ishida rushed the end of the manga i REALLY doubt there will be a another season. If Ishida will draw another manga i think he will do a new manga with diffents thematics. Plus the story of Tokyo ghoul was the story of Kaneki and his story is arledy ended.

Kaneki is a half-ghoul which would make Haise half-ghoul right.. so does haise also have to eat humans? I would think so but i recently just watched the episode where team Sasaki got promoted and they threw a dinner party to celebrate. Lol and how is CCG ok with feeding people to Haise?? Thoughts anyone?

Even if it never does Tokyo Ghoul will always be a masterpiece to me it had humor and horror and action and love and many other things I relate to kaneki so much I sometimes see him when I look at myself I learned that life is about more than trying to get strong to protect those I care about and that I don’t need to fight alone and if I want things to change rise with those who want the same and try to change it thank you Sui Ishida for making a series that was so wonderful and such and I wish you the best in life

There is a Seinen series that did actually get a good anime adaptation, it is called *Land of the Lustrous* and you might want to look into it. It is all CGI but it was done pretty well and sort of fits the story.

Yes!!!!! I loved Tokyo Ghoul. I even liked the anime a lot! But Re did not feel the same. I still enjoyed it. Sui did a great job with it all but the horror and Noir of it all kind of like disappeared. If that makes sense.
I'll still represent Tokyo Ghoul to the day I die! But I admit it changed a lot. It may not get a continuation but it deserves the Brotherhood reboot. Not like that will happen though haha

It is quite rare to actually see Seinin become popular, especially after it's anime adaptation as most think that the anime is exactly like the manga.
I'm happy that I'm a manga reader and anime watcher. I usually read manga first then I stop reading entirely after a minimum of 30 chapters and I decide to watch anime, if I don't like it I go back to manga.

I feel like unfotable could do a good remake. Their animation is incredible and if you look at demon slayer, which gets pretty dark, they are good at that too. Correct me if im wrong but i feel like it would be a good studio for it

No, absolutely not. Ufotable is good for demon slayer. It's good for shonen, for child shows, but not seinen. Wit would be so much better for Tokyo Ghoul. Reanimating season 1 and 2, making it true to the manga's story and artstyle. They're good at doing this. I think wit is the only good studio for it, MAYBE mappa. As long as it's not the AoT animators.
