I have a bad feeling about the real life adaptation of Tokyo Ghoul, but I'm hoping that it'll turn out amazing.
I have a worse feeling about the Fullmetal Alchemist adaptation. :/
+Berten I honestly have a feeling that the adaptation will be good. I mean, they've got an excellent cast. The guy that plays Kaneki can act. And did a good job as Light Yagami in the Japanese Drama TV Show.
I heard only good praise about it from anime expo, it even got B+ grade in the review from ANN.
Yeah I'm worried. Real life adaptation never really go well for me personally and I generally hate it. But I'm going to give it a try anyway

You missed the fact on Uta's neck tattoo meaning "I can live neither with you nor without you" which relates to his association with humans but I honestly don't know how well known that fact is. And my favourite character is Juuzou because of his crazy persona.

@@milzic33 I think it means the prefix re which means to do again like redo or remake, and it's named that because re is when Kaneki lost his memories and basically "re" started as Haise because of his memory lost.

Sui Ishida confirmed that Kaneki is either bisexual or pansexual.
The ship for Touka + Kaneki (Touken/Kanetou) is officially canon.
Apparently Tokyo Ghoul season 3 is cancelled because of the live action movie.
Touka in the manga is really bad at cutting hair.
Uta's tattoo on his neck translates "I can live neither with you, nor without you." It's how he feels about humans.
Hide is supposedly dead in the anime but it's unknown in the manga.
From beginning and the middle of Tokyo Ghoul:re - Ken Kaneki has amnesia from battling with Kishou Arima and becomes a CCG investigator named; Haise Sasaki.
The author of Tokyo Ghoul himself; Sui Ishida chose Masataka Kubota for the role of Ken Kaneki for the live action movie.

I watched the anime first and now I’m reading the manga. Let me tell you: The manga is so much better. The story makes much more sense in the manga and there are so many details I didn’t know about.

My favorite character is actually in :Re, and he's (besides Kaneki) Kuki Urie. His hair now is really nice and he's had a lot of character development lately.
+Maximos Arzio My favorite character in Tokyo Ghoul and Tokyo Ghoul:Re is Furuta Nimura. He's such a good character and troll. He's also rather similair to Me. Which just adds to His awesome factor. But I love Kuki Urie as well. And again, He's got a lot of traits that I have in common with Him. My favorite Female characters are Eto and Touka. Hinami can fit into the list as well. LOL. But yeah, I love the Tokyo Ghoul Manga!

+suzutrash I like Touka because She's a very kind character that wants to protect the ones close to Her. Even in though She was a bit rough around the edges in the beginning of Tokyo Ghoul, Her willingness to protect the ones She cares about is shown through. Throwing Herself into danger if that means protecting the ones She cares about. She's also very selfless, even eating Human food that makes Her sick just to please Her Human friend, Yoriko. And let's not forget about Her attempts to keep Her child alive. But yeah, those are some of the things that I like about Her.

two things kanaki is also know as the centipede by the ccg for his half kakuja form and love how when you mention that root A is different in terms of story you show a very shall i say crucial page from the manga that was omitted from the anime. can tell your a fan of tokyo ghoul like myself. also love the mention of the fantastic artwork and mentioning the writing (its sooooo good)

Super fan here dont mean to be a pest but kaneki hair went white due to high rc cells level its has happened to several characters now how had a increse in power in the manga
Sui Ishida is not a tattoo artist. That was only rumor that no one knows where it originally came from. But either way Ishida has debunked it in one of his tweets. Only thing Ishida got to do with any tattoo-related-stuff is that he said that he gave his own hobbies to Uta La Puta.
Lastly, Marie Antoinette syndrome is also inaccurate fact as there is actual canon explanation for Kaneki's DBZ hair color changes that actually would even fit DBZ narrative as well :P.

The haircolour changes after that are different though as explained in the manga

If you want wiki version of it, it is "The sudden color changes in Kaneki's hair are caused by the suppression of his Rc cell activity which has caused temporary melanin production that causes his hair color to change."
Which is why @OP of comment is most likely making fun of it saying that not only does he changes hair color as if he goes into super saiyan mode but it truly is tg version of super saiyan mode.

Well season 3 is here now and its not looking too bad
I was in japan in July and left on the 26th but there were a lot of Tokyo ghoul merch at shonen jump. I bought the Tokyo ghoul premium cards and they are cool. I go to shonen jump every year. Only my older brother and I love anime. I'm so lucky to be able to go to japan every year (We have to go to see family relatives in japan).
@1:08 oohh so that's why Sui Ishida said out of all the characters. He is more like Uta when it comes to the personality albeit Uta is a bit more extreme version of himself.

ZIDH AN Well it's not fragmented. A lot of Kaneki's internal and external suffering highlighted and literally better illustrated in the manga. For example the arc when Kaneki is being tortured by Jason, its a lot more disturbing in the manga than in the anime. I know you don't read manga, but I highly recommend doing so for Tokyo Ghoul. You just might actually like it. 😊

Fact number 42 is wrong, the reason why Kaneki got white hair is due to the excesive use of RC cells. This was answered after the fight between Arima and Kaneki when Touka tells Kaneki that his hair turned white again.

What really sounded like Carmina Burana (O Fortuna) was that one track from death note... I forgot the name of it but there's no way it wasn't directly influenced by the first movement.
My #1 favorite character is Ken Kaneki for obvious reasons. You can’t help but watching the Anime and not feeling sympathetic towards him. He just wanted to live a normal life of a college boy. Then it all got screwed up when he fell for the wrong girl. Kaneki DEFINITELY did deserve the horrifically cruel torture from Jason either. The only positive thing it did to Kaneki was make him MUCH tougher ghoul.

nanoen Well the first season was pretty good, but Root A wasn't that great.
1st season pretty much stuck with the manga with the occasional missing scenes, you know with most animes, but root A fucked up the anime for me. That's why I read the manga.
