No need to apologize ya dork. Stress can take a big fat toll on you, it completely understandable. Take care of yourself first okay? I send you good vibes☀️
mabey it comes from adaptation some times it comes naturally but most of the time it comes from adaptation. like ken's dragon looking like a centipede it came from adaptation because of the centipede, trauma and torture.when ken is pushed in battle like when he vs shinohara he took the apearense of a centipede.
I really don’t understand kaneki post dragon wing kagune. I really hope you can explain even just as a comment reply. But thank you and love these explanations, we miss so much when we’re wrapped up in a fight panel.
Isn’t it crazy how many tiny bits of details there are in Tokyo Ghoul/Re? It’s so easy to fall into a spiral of thoughts when trying to analyze certain aspects of characters and aspects of the plot. It’s such a shame that Ishida felt rushed to finish it because I feel like the series and its world along with its characters have so much potential. It’s always quite fascinating to hear what you come up with. Your hard work never goes unseen I hope you know that.
I think the psychological connection between Tatara and his kagune was his anger, which fueled his flames. Tatara always seemed like a calm and collected person, but I definitely think he was hiding a strong sense of revenge and hatred, which bleeds through in his kakuja state. Hoji also points out that Tatara's flames were especially aggressive due to his hatred toward him.
i can't wait for a reboot they should keep the voice acting, maybe score a higher anime studio, slow down to make 2-3 chapters for a episode and maybe at least 80 episodes for the whole anime
Don't forget the fact that Noro was just an animated corpse that Eto was controlling. seems Eto also had some special abilities. Like the fact that her kagune was actually alive and sentient and could talk!
the more you mentioned, the more i feel these abilities are underplayed. Uta has never actually infiltrated anyone. His face mimic ability was only used offhand. It'd be a lot more interesting if that happened.
I like all of the abilities explained here, especially Uta's and Tatara's! I only wish that Sui Ishida went into full details about a lot of the unknown secret powers of ghouls and their lineage...
Thanks so much for this video ❤ it was really needed. I just wanna point that at some point the psedo-electrokenesis that ukaku users have like Touka and Yomo was explained that when Rc cells flow intensely from the Kakuhou the kinetic energy they've built up transform into electric energy. Just like some creatures can transform the chemical energy into other energy forms like light (like some species of jellyfish and fungi) or electricity (like the electric eel). We see also when Yomo was fighting Mutsuki in Goat Wipeout Arc... his kagune was conducted through water to Mutsuki. Anyway... I think heredity is a very important factor. We can see that how explosive and powerful Nurakami Quinque is (which is made from Hikari Kirishima) and also in T-human and High Mind/Angel Beat. I think the Yomo bloodline is so pure that they were able to use this ability because even Hikari marrying Arata (Rc type is koukaku) both of her children are ukaku. I also think the imagination or the psychological side plays a role too because (according to Eto, the shape of a kagune is affected by the imagination and intelligence)... so Yomo and Touka thinking of Hikari all the time might have shaped their kagune that way. Sorry for the big comment 🙂😭 Edited: I love the background music (better days)
I can’t express how much I love Tokyo Ghoul, but I don’t know how to feel about how he implements new powers into the story. We start off with set rules and set knowledge, set weapons; Kagune and Quinque. Then, we learn that a Kagune can manifest itself into something crazy large and dangerous if the RC factor of its host is large enough. This is all fine, and I feel that it fits with the arc of part one of Tokyo Ghoul pretty well. And then.... in :Re we suddenly have ghouls who can replicate themselves with Kagune, change their faces, heal others, zap lightning (Star Wars anyone?), control a separate human host with a Kagune, and probably some more. I think that some of these were set up in part one, but that doesn’t change the fact that in my mind it’s a whole lot that just feels convenient to the plot sometimes. Like it was all written in so that Eto could come back, Yomo could defeat Uta, and Rize could be reborn. I actually love a lot of these ideas, especially Dragon Rize, but I still feel that these extra powers that aren’t really given much explanation for are just there to convenience the plot half the time. Especially when Ishida doesn’t want a character to die. That’s actually really bad. I mean I’m here reading this dark fantasy tragedy with heavy themes of death and while a ton of people die only a small number STAY DEAD. IMO this cheapens death in any story and I can’t trust that a character has truly met their end. This basically also means that I can’t feel for a character when they die because I think “K, I will see them 5 volumes from now.” I had this issue with Shirazu and Eto especially, and thank god Ishida just let Shirazu be dead. Also let me say that I understand why he did this. The tragedy in Tokyo Ghoul isn’t that people die, it’s that good people are emotionally ripped to shreds through multiple harrowing experiences, and dying to become a half ghoul like Takizawa is an example of that. It also makes may be necessary to the overarching plot, and that’s why I try not to let it bother me that much. Sorry, I kinda ranted there but those are my only two major problems with Tokyo Ghoul.
Well those lightning kagunes isnt that much different from arimas quinque. Arima did kill yomo's sister who could have had the same abilities and that could have been quinque.
Tatara has always been one of my favorite characters and I love his ability’s but always questioned how and where he got them. His brothers seem pretty interesting and shrouded by mystery. I think they were all pretty deadly wish I could learn more but it’s unfortunate. Great video again man.
Jbuns 12 he meant “brother’s” he only has one, and I don’t remember if we meet him in the anime, haven’t read the manga yet, but we do find out in season 1 that Houji killed his brother.
SPOILERS! i saw the last ep off the anime and when uta fought yomo i was suprised just like you said he is mysterious i like that and then yomo did a piggy ride with him 🤣🤣
Personally I believe Tantra learnt his flame ability from his brother Yan as Yan was three times more powerful then his brother back when he was still alive
I think if a character thought of their own technique, and focused on training it, we'd see a lot more abilities. It's just that very few characters go for abilities that may take decades to develop, when most would rather go for improving their strength.
I read Tokyo Ghoul Vol 1 after anime seasons 1&2, waited till Season 3 of Tokyo Ghoul Re Anime was finished before reading Re the manga, I love all the extra dialogue and background you get, I could kinda see how that ability of Eto's isn't the same as what Dres was talking about in his video
ii think in yomo case its there like theres no way for him not use it other than yuta where its not apart of his kagune itself its a seperate power its not ultimatly apart of his kagune
Humans heal slow therefore age slow. Ghouls heal much faster therefore they should age faster. They probably get scars when they simply can't fully heal it. Just thoughts tho
@@cubez7563 not really the reason the ghouls heal quickly is because of the rc cells and you also see characters like roma are a lot older than they seem
@@db5094 btw they could have somewhat pseudotelekinesis if somewhat special ghoul could've spread his rc cells and use it as nano kagunes and lift stuff

Blame Studio Pierrot. The director of TG didn't even touch the manga.

It's a shame we didn't see much of tatara fighting I really wanted to see what he was fully capable of
I feel the same way.
Yea but we'd have had to see before the takizawa fight because he had no chance of escaping
