Could never imagine Taylor sounding as good on a strat. Hendrix strategy was set up like a different guitar. Popular Mechanics had a scientific article why Jimis Guitar was unique sounding.

    • @DeanMk1
      @DeanMk1 4 роки тому +4

      I love Jonesy, dearly. In a sense he taught me how to play drums, but The Who didn't work for him. Required a different kind of drummer. Saw them in Seattle in 1982. The Faces were much better suited to how he plays.

      @@twstrgmailcom Could be true (we never got to see how much of a technician Moon really was), but The Who required a different approach than The Faces did.

      +Walt Sisson His shift from his solo into a wall of guitars is one of the great moments in rock. Ron Wood would probably agree - check out his energy and licks at the moment of transition.

    Kenny Jones absolutely tears this bitch to pieces !! For years, I swore that it had to be Carmine Appice and his awesome double bass attack because there was no way it was a single bass. Then I saw this clip about 5 years ago and went, wow, Kenny Jones is a dynamo.....great stuff !!

    My Dad introduced me to this stuff in the 80's when I was a little boy. Great to SEE the performance as well as hearing it. Thanks Dad.

    Rock and roll at its best, great to see Ronnie Lane jamming to the song Im losing You 💔💋 I guess you figured out by now that the faces, really are the voices of all of those teenagers going through such hard times like losing their lovers. ❤️‍🔥Believe me 💯they'll get over it. How I love that song though, I'm losing you 💥💥💥 That's a wrap🕊️🕊️

    Have this on vinyl, my teenager son ( in 1990ish) and his friends (who played guitar amazingly) couldn't understand why it was amazing. It was and still is. A one off

    Can't get enough of this version. I tell you people I was born too late, missed out on all the GREAT Rock and Roll. 1978 baby here. At least my Dad showed me the right direction when it came to music. Thank you for uploading. Luv it!!!

    Incredible, I dont know how many times I have seen this. The energy, you can feel it, the five playing at their best, One of the best live performances I have ever seen. I agree with some of you , you dont find something like this today. I think I would mention the Black Crowes today like a band to compare with the old ones, with a great sound and a great live. btw, maybe the Crowes could do a good cover of this song.
