Ron Wood is as cool as it gets when it comes to rock guitarist.

Ron Wood jams harder on this, as an old geezer, than Jagger ever allowed him to in over 40 years with the Stones. Rod has always been one of the greatest rock front men.

That guitar intro by Ron is classic... you can see in his body language how much he feels it as he plays it. Great tune ... one of the best covers !

Why did they ever split up? Rod was never a good without Ronnie, and vice versa. The Faces were a great band.

WOW! So much better than Rod solo the same year. Don't underestimate the power of friendship. These guys are greater than the sum of their parts.

Saw Rod Stewart and Faces around 1971 or so at Clemson SC right after Every Picture Tells a Story came out. This is by far the best song on that album, although Rod was really promoting the pop hit Maggie Mae. I really enjoyed Faces. They really put on a great concert that night! Will always remember that concert. Rod and Faces were best then. Wasn't really impressed when Rod went disco but I guess you do what ya gotta do, huh! This video brings him back to what I remember him by in the early 70s. Another great version of this song is by Rare Earth! Check that one out too. It's pretty good, also from the 70s.

Nothing like true rock & rollers. Rod is the man & he & Ron Woods together is awesome.

Love the Faces, love the song, but watch this then watch any version from 30+ years ago. Still love watching it, but oh man were they a beast in the day. None of them came close to what they did together in the faces. They were tight!

There are some great boot CD's out there with early Faces recording, musically brilliant long improvised solos that are saw raw they were just held together with musical brilliance. They turn up on ebay in many different names, check the set lists and venues. Cheers Rob

This is good but there's three extra musicians on stage and is nowhere near as good as the live 71 footage of this on UA-cam.

just be glad they're still willing to perform, past retirement age, with all the money in the world. instead of overstating the obvious, eh?

This song was by the great Motown band Rare Earth and Peter Rivera was helluva lot better as was the band too. Rivera, singer and drummer, set the standard for this song and others. Nice try Faces and Rod.
