The thing with what people say about how spacers will negatively effect the car. Is that it's all theory, always best to put theory in practice. If it works: fantastic. If it doesn't work: oh well you tried something different. Admittedly I'm someone who isn't a fan of running spacers, 10/15mm spacers would be the limit I'd run but that's just me
Great video Steve! Happy for you. Cant wait for the BBK!
Keep it up 👍. Really enjoy your videos.
Salute from the States
Another cracking vid pal.....looking forward to seeing the big brake kit on the car.
Love your videos. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Jimmy.
Nice one steve , they might be cheap spacers , but they are made for the job good work as usual and as you do always safety first Steve , great job 👍
Wahey! Happy days mate! Another enjoyable video 👌🏼 The smile of “IT WORKED” after your “I love this diff” face 🤣
Thanks in pretty pleased I don't have to buy new wheels. Not just yet anyway.
Really enjoying the videos Steve, keep them coming! Plenty of time for content now you're in lockdown (again) surely? Stay safe👍
Glad it worked out ... if you do end up scraping the front arch liners I have a spare pair in the garage as well 😂
I’m not a massive fan of fiestas but love your videos nevertheless, will always watch them, keep doing what your doing mate 👍🏻
Thanks Alex that's nice to hear. 😁
I can't say I can begin to understand what you say or do, but your vids are still great!
Hi Steve great vids, been watching awhile, just a question that's off topic but noticed you run an Rsport 400 gen 2 intercooler? I'm looking at purchasing this one or the pro alloy curved one as there really light weight, do you like the rsport intercooler? Is it a heavy item?
Keep up the good videos!
Good work there Stevo
Looks good to me. 🤜
Decent, thinking about 15mm for mine
Run 4 space savers mate perfect 👌🏻
Does the change in scrub radius actually make any difference to the feel or ability of the car, probably not.
Can you please talk about the Fiesta MK8 ST-3 engine durability. Has the over heating (cylinder heads cracking) issues of the MK7 been resolved?
If the only negative is a bit of tramlining I’d say it was a success 👍
I'm going to start doing some more cars at up👍
What length are the factory studs
Steve, abit off topic but do you notice any acceleration gains from running the 15s over the 16s?
It would depend on tyre sizes but for what I use their all pretty close in diameter so gearing feels the same.
What about just fitting the optional Ford 17 inch wheels? Little sidewall to flex and bigger brakes would fit without too many issues, plus it's effectively "standard" parts?
It comes down to the cost of the tyres. Tyres in the 15’s are a lot cheaper.
Copart should sponsor spark plug racing
Spacers back in the day were JC Whitney junk, I've personally seen them come apart, on the road and the track. Now a days they seem to be better made, I've seen a lot of people use them to good affect.
steve why dont you strip out your car and add a well fitted FIA cage, si.
less weight = more faster pal
Evenin
Hi how's things?
Could you do a video on the AR1's just to see how long they last and your opinion on them
2 of the 4 are dead and iv done 4 track days on them. The other 2 won't last much longer. Their very grippy but a constant headache to get the correct pressure to control the wear.
Spark Plug Steve what pressure do you run in yours? I usually aim for 25f 26r hot which is within nangkangs recommendations, but still noticing uneven wear on n/s/f
Around 27/28 hit on the front but my biggest issue is wearing the centre of the tyre.
Spark Plug Steve same issue here
It seems to be an issue for everyone using them.
U wont get as much torque steer cos of diff
Yes good point.
Say bye to those bearings😂
Please pray for them 😁
1st
Well done you 👏
Hi Rob. You still Got your fiesta?
Spark Plug Steve yes pal been doing a few little things to it but I’ve got a motorcycle now so that’s taking most of my time atm
All to save a little on tyres?
Is your time worth nothing?
Plus the 15s don't look good.....
My time is free. I'm cheap
