- Just a few laps from a track day back in the summer. This was the first time i managed to get into the 18s at castle combe and although im not the best driver it's still a great achievement for me i think

I hate R56 minis, I had a JCW for a year and it was just a nightmare to run. The Fiesta on the other hand has been epic.

I messed the camera settings up so it's the image stabilisation.
Your car is sticking to the lines so well, obviously you can see the lsd doing its work. Damn impressive these 1.6 turbo engines, I went from a 306 rallye to a 208 gti (face-lift) with a tdi tuning box on, I had no trouble in a straight line keeping up with the latest civic type r. Would like at some point to try a track day at Blyton, although that track is a killer on brakes. Bigger brakes and a slippy diff is what I could do with for track work or do you think 302mm 2 pot brakes would be enough?. I know the standard brakes on my 306 - 283mm struggled and upgraded them to 4 pots.

Are you considering hybrid turbo? The stock one starts restricting at 5500rpm even on the factory map, so looking at the revs you hang around, the hybrid would likely give you a lot more pull from the corners and improve overall driveability without even going that much up on the power.
Where I live, swapping turbos is illegal 🙄But "luckily" the FiST hybrid looks the same outside, so MOT will be clueless.. unfortunately, so is IC swapping outside of anything that can be considered equal to factory, so one is forced to stick with those smaller ones, and add water sprays if more cooling is needed.

@@Sparkplugsteve Finland. Your channel is great information source on mods for track use, so I am interested to see your opinions on the hybrid!
Not many mod these here over the Moutune MP215, which can be legally installed. Mine is still under warranty, so I am just collecting info what to do when it runs out (unless I end up getting something else before that, still 2 years left). I am also considering getting the MP215 as it holds the warranty, but it seems a bit waste of money, as I eventually would go even further.
I'd not be after crazy high power, but I like driveability and the somewhat asmathic go after 5500rpm even on the stock map + turbo is making me consider to go directly into the criminal activities 🤣 (the penalties for illegal mods are not that high, at worst I will be forced to swap things stock for MOT, and in very worst case insurance may not cover my own damages if the mod can be seen as reason for the damage).
On your last video said about doing your bushes etc what have you gone for a drop link wise etc

Been a few mods really. Coilovers, bushes and camber etc.
What bushes you opt for in the end and what u done camber wise
Superpro bushes in front and poweflex rear . Camber is - 3.5 front and - 1.5 rear.

The camera needs stronger neck muscles to cope the the Gs he’s pulling
It's the image stabilisation on the hero 8. It's not normally this bad but I forgot to change some settings in the field of view.
@@Sparkplugsteve Its a strange effect, now you mention it the I/S is doing a good job, the video quality is excellent considering the car's ride setup.
