Margaret Wiley is the actress playing Stevie's girlfriend in the video. She passed away in 1999.
"You're always picking and tuning on that guitar... Well, why don't you do some picking and tuning on me??"
She's great in this. Absolute classic, the song AND the video.
Had the pleasure of hanging out with her in the late 80s in Antones office during one of the anniversary shows.Doug Sahm was also with us that night. What a lady. She wasnt from Texas but we damn sure claim her.
She makes the video
Gotta love the ending when she plugs him in ! That was perfect..
I wish music like this were the norm today instead of what we have.
There is NO ONE today they even closely resembles the talent of SRV....It is sad what rock n roll has become.
Jeff Champagne this is blues but some of his songs are a fusion
Jeff Champagne there is talent. They just don't play like SRV.
I can't argue with that...
J Mac you and me both! I don't even want to listen to any of today's music!
When she opened the closet door and see all the guitars 😂😂😂 Stevie Ray Vaughan was a guitar master and is one of the guitarist of all-time. R.I.P Stevie Ray Vaughan thanks for sharing your love of the blues with the entire world.
This mv maybe the most funny thing in the music history,I love and enjoy it so so much. What I think is particularly great is that in the story, he died of music and was reborn in music. (Guitar represents music )Finally, please allow me to say that it was a stroke of genius for Steve to find this lady to be the heroine. If I were the director, I would definitely want them to have a wet French kiss.
Probably the funniest music video ever! Excellent song, excellent cast, great story line...and it didn't have to be fancy or complex...after 35? 40? years, it is so funny and so fun to watch! We miss you SRV!
wish this guy was still around playing music man is a legend!!
Never fails to cheer me up. RIP Stevie.

Oh man… just thinking about what was and what could have been. The thought of SRV becoming an old blues man… just heartbreaking all these years later.
Greatest music video of all time, rest in paradise king.
Takes you to the extreme, absolute tone, absolute grove, vocals….
the whole world will always be in love with his musical talent a true legend indeed
Stevie's face at the end reminds me of Mike Myers in Wayne's World. 'Zang!' :)
This whole video is like Wayne's World meets The League Of Gentlemen. I love it.
This song turned me on to Stevie, whem mtv was mtv... long live the Goat!!!

I'm from Dallas never heard of him until this video when I was a kid laughed so hard at this video but I became a fan at that point and broke my heart whenever I heard about that crash one of the greatest guitar players ever RIP SRV
Stevie’s girlfriend has so much charecter& sass- as I’ve gotten older, I realize she’s got real beauty goin on❤ SRV, is the goat if Texas Rockin Blues! Love that man forever🎶💙🎶💙🎶
He was and is a legend. What more he could have accomplished if that helicopter didn’t crash. RIP Stevie. You are missed
Love this video! Stevie Ray was one of the Greatest!
Greatest guitar player of all time.
Crystal Hammer After Jimi ;)
Jimi and Stevie were/are different players. Although, Stevie is in my opinion the greatest of all time. He took a little of every player he admired and made his own. That includes his brother!
Yes. And that's their gift. Their different styles. But in my opinion I still have to say SRV Is the GREATEST GUITAR PLAYER OF ALL TIME.
Crystal Hammer Ok, you win ;))
Lol.
Stephen „Stevie“ Ray Vaughan 3. Oktober 1954 - 27. August 1990.
For 33 years now missed and not forgotten.
The greatest vhs music video ever
Recuerdo la primera vez que lo escuché , nada volvió a ser lo mismo para mí en el mundo de la guitarra . Un genio de la guitarra , por eso está considerado dentro de los 10 mejores de todos los tiempos .
He had his own class and style with a approach all guitar 🎸 players would die for peaceful ✌️ Stevie
O Stevie Ray Vaughan foi e sempre será considerado um verdadeiro mestre!!!!!
RIP and long live Stevie Ray Vaughan (October 3, 1954 - August 27, 1990), aged 35
You will always be remembered as a legend.
Fantastic video. Simple but powerful. SRV was a great guy. He was into drugs but recovered. He chattered with his fans after the concerts to tell them his experience on drugs to convince them to do no take them. Love his playing.
best music video ever
