I wish people would stop vilifying a woman every season of love is blind.
Calling Stacy a close minded mean girl when she had no issues with any other women besides the one that spoke ill of her first is a bit much….
These are real people, not characters. Was she insanely immature at the bbq, yes. But it definitely reads more as her feelings were hurt and she could’ve communicated that in a more mature way, even though the things johnnie said about her were equally as immature.

@@Princesa0510 yeah, I'm definitely being biased and judgemental here. I get extremely triggered when I see the kind of unprovoked violent behaviour that Stacy and Izzy showed at the bbq. Calling someone a shit person at a social gathering, trying to convince them everyone thinks this way, not being open to listening to what the other person has to say in their defence, aggressive language and tone of voice.

@@weronikakonieczna1856 I'm not sure how that is worse than belittling and degrading someone behind their back the way Johnie did. They both talked shit on each other. One did it behind their back and the other did it to their face. I can't see how one is worse than the other. They were both clearly triggered and responded by attacking another woman. Both are equally flawed.

@@katherinedelafuente6030i agree with you. I dont understand how people excuse Johnie behavior. To me thats a mean girl too. But a silent one. The hypocritical one. I much prefer someone that calls me out in my face than someone that talks shit behind my back. Maybe they see her as more conventonally beautiful and thats why she has the hallo effect on her. But i wasnt fooled. Johnie is mean girl too.

@@weronikakonieczna1856 while I appreciate your ability to own where you might have some bias because that is rare online, I question the use of the descriptor of any of their behavior at the BBQ as violent. No one was at their best, I agree but I did not witness any violent behavior.
I also believe Izzy had a battery in his back from off-camera conversations with Stacey and was partially using the confrontation with Johny to display his passion for Stacey. It didn't work but he tried.

This is such a great video! I love the fact that you don't villanise anyone and have the ability/skill to pin point why people are drawn to each other and why they behave the way they do. I was so tired of people making Stacy or Johnnie or even Izzy (my least favourite personally haha) the villain- but this really does add more nuance to it without judgement.

  • @MissKashira

Stacy and Izzy scammed each other in the pods. They both hid parts of themselves they thought the other person wouldn't like and so when they got to know the real versions of each other, they didn't like each other very much. Some might think Izzy liked Stacy because he said yes, but no, Izzy like that house. Dude was homeless. He showed her an Airbnb which means that either he staged the lost and found or he travels from place to place carrying around trophies from women he's slept with like a serial killer. If it was the former, Stacy is right and he went above and beyond to try to make her feel insecure and if it's the latter, he really was showing her the real him because that's like Dexter showing off his blood slides.
And you're right. Johnnie was not acting sketchy, given what she stated about her history, both patterns are true for her. Izzy is the new drug addict boyfriend that excites her but that she has to carry on her back because he's a mess while Chris is the guy she marries without ever being in love with him. However, I don't know what you're supposed to do in that situation besides get copious amounts of therapy to deal with whatever makes you dangerously attracted to hot messes because it sounds like a lose/lose situation to me.

Stacy got way too angry about Johnie for no reason. I think Izzie was in Stacy's ear about her, but as soon as he called Stacy sketchy, I knew he was up to something. I've seen men do this before: they put their current girlfriends on a pedestal in comparison to other women they've been with, as if it's a compliment. But I'm starting to think they do it to convince themselves, because this isn't the first time I've seen men date or sleep with women they were adamant they didn't like or respect. In all honesty, I think Izzie saw Stacy as having higher societal value/a prize/came with an easier life than Johnie who's been through struggle.

Izzy triangulated Stacy and Johnie by comparing them and telling them about his relationship with the other women. Triangulation is a manipultion tactic, not saying he's doing it on purpose but it still hurts the women involved and is abusive and it may have been done to him in his childhood. Triangulation keeps the one in the middle in a position of power because the other 2 are competing/fighting and can never compare stories of the one in the middle

That was a really good breakdown of Johnies behaviour. It can definitely seem like she was being 'sketchy' but it takes more work to actually understand whats going on. And of course, the cast did not have the video interpretations of what she actually said too, which is why its so easy to go for the obvious conclusion. I didn't think Johnie was as bad as they were making it out to be. Stacey definitely noticed that Izzy was still into Johnie and took it upon herself to transfer her feelings of frustration not onto Izzy but onto Johnie, who was a target. There was some displacement going on for sure there.

When Ne connects with Fe for interacting, especially because Johnie is on a show where you have to make connections, it gets overwhelming and chaotic.

Honestly Izzy is a very odd individual. He is the physical manifestion of insecurity. He seems to just like the attention he gets from women but he doesn't like them. I've met ppl like him before and they'll never be happy because the attention whorism scares everyone away, no self respecting person that they would want would take them seriously.

Such an interesting evaluation, though I don't thoroughly understand the ----elemental symbols (at least that is how the coding strikes me).

Honestly, I think a lot of it stems from his heritage. Knowing is name is Ismael, but he goes by Izzy…I imagine that he had a bit of a rough time growing up, and now he needs to know that women desire him, to perhaps a f*ck boy level.

Before booking, should we take a recent Meyers Briggs? It has been a while since I took the test

You do not need to have done the MBTI self test or tell me your results. In session, I analyse your natural speech and how you tend to describe situations and respond to open ended questions. Natural speech offers clues to your mind’s default way of processing.

Thanks Dr Cherie. I found it really strange how people were recognising that Jonnie may have not been 'sketchy' but dismissed how she could be rude, inappropriate, and insulting at times. I also didn't and don't rate Chris and thought the reunion epitomised how rude and self-centred they both act towards other people. But Stacey and Izzy called her names so she's suddenly a misunderstood victim. Sure...

As an ex prodcer on reality tv I can garantee the "lost and found" was pushed as a subject by them. They have know this in their reasurch and talks with him. But they pushed him to drop the subject on camera with her.
However doesn’t change he does keep souvenirs of his exes.

What a relief to understand Johnnie. Its sad we could construde her as a sketchy human being, while apparently all she did was to speak her truth. She could be bitchy when on the edge, but who doesnt at some point?
