I'm a marvel superfan... I've loved marvel since I was a kid. But yeah. Endgame they really took a dive. The only movie that I have truly loved was No Way Home. But yeah. They definitely need to stop puking out c-grade content. And maybe take more time with certain projects. Eternals could have been good. Black widow could have been good -out of place, but still could have been good-. Loki was actually good. That one I really enjoyed as well. But they could have done it as a 2 part mini-series.
Moon knight defenders are definitely a special breed of people. Show was boring as hell, Oscar acting was the only thing good about the show. For a show called moon knight, we saw very lil of the said character. I’m pretty sure his wife character, no idea her fucking name has more screen time than “moon knight” Waste of time, just like the rest of marvels shows/movies.
Moon Knight is enjoyable if you aren't a fan of Moon Knight and the best of Phase 4 are definitely spider-man and werewolf by night wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was

What's funny is "phase _" is just a title. They don't know what they're building up to, it just sounds cool. They even admitted that they have no direction after phase 4, they just wanted to bring in diversity
Movies I watched Shang chi -Really liked it but went in with low expectations No way home- like it but was very overrated. Disliked a lot of the dialogue and felt like a lot of fanservice for the sake of fanservice Multiverse of madness - loved it. Feel like there is a lot of criticism that is unwarranted like reed Richards "being the smartest man but revealed their ability" but he's smart , not wise. The flaw of those characters was their arrogance Was gonna watch Thor 4 but just got busy and heard it wasn't good so I might go in with realistic expectations Shows Wandavision- was great. Still felt there's unfair criticism with the ending. Falcon and winter soldier-felt very unfocused. Sam's final speech really drove home how little sense the whole show meant. I get what he was trying to say but the execution was kind of garbage Moon Knight- I thought it was great when it came to the characters but the action was lackluster. I even found it funny how they skipped fight scenes but also thought it was fine cause the climax for me was seeing the two personalities work together. And that's it. Nothing else seemed interesting but I actually like phase 4 more if you treat.them like comics instead of a series of films and shows. Pick what you like and enjoy some more interactions with the characters. Especially cause it's all on Disney+ after a month anyway
When it comes to Movies/TV Charlie always has the best takes. Marvel isn't bad but it's nothing groundbreaking either. I came here to say this after this 3 week old video auto played lol. This year was so strong for film. The superhero genre largely sucked tho, and I think that's coloring the view a bit for some people.
After Endgame Marvel honestly has really only had garbage stories.
If we get a movie that's even half as good as Winter Soldier, I'll consider phase 5 "okay".
Pls cut out the bits where there's no talking in these vids, pads out the length
Moon knight defenders are definitely a special breed of people. Show was boring as hell, Oscar acting was the only thing good about the show. For a show called moon knight, we saw very lil of the said character. I’m pretty sure his wife character, no idea her fucking name has more screen time than “moon knight”
Waste of time, just like the rest of marvels shows/movies.
Moon Knight is enjoyable if you aren't a fan of Moon Knight and the best of Phase 4 are definitely spider-man and werewolf by night wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was
I might have to watch Loki again, because the first time I watched it it did not impress me that much personally.
Werewolf By Night was actually really good.
I tuned into wanda vison for evan peters
Nomadland, great film
Best thing about phase 4 was Marvel Snap
I hope this Phase was like a "experimentation" in the MCU and they learn from there mistakes.
Yeah, like Star Wars!
i mean from the feedback from thor 4 it seems there comedy is getting better
@@bananaking664 yeah but even if its getting better its whatever at best
Not a chance
Phase 4 had so much shit come out, and yet it feels like absolutely nothing happened
oh. so much happened huh? I actively watched Marvels' movies in the past but the last I saw was Endgame. Man that was a while ago.
Lol! I actually really liked Moon Knight! 😂 It’s the only Marvel show I’ve watched besides Daredevil that I’ve liked.
The only thing I liked in 4 was loki and Spiderman. Multiverse of madness was a little less enjoyable but more enjoyable than the rest of it. I didn't see black panther so I can't comment on it
As a fan of the marvel movies and having watched every single piece of content, Phase 4 was immensely stinky
wait for the armpit hair super hero
You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villian
2:40 it goes both ways though....DC's best films (The Dark Knight, Joker) are better than Marvel's best films (Logan, Infinity War)
It is confirmed that while wanda was threatening the multiverse antman was doing booksignings.
look at the time and date
What If was great!
Cheesey blockbuster cookie cutter movie? Is that why its %96 on rotten tomatoes? These people in his chat are real tools
Because the people who take thr time to go on that dumb website and review movies are npc's
Charlie, you are the only person on Earth who remembers Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Even his chat doesn’t remember what happened in it
Puss In Boots was the highlight of 2022 movies.
Everywhere and Anywhere All at Once.
True
Top Gun Maverick was the highlight
Bro did not watch the last episode he does not blackout during the final fight
I thought moonknigt was good. It was goofy but it was a fun ride
Werewolf by night and no way home are the only things worth watching in phase 4
thank you for pointing out that moon knight is a garbage boring piece of shit. i feel relieved to see that someone else agrees
Honestly there’s so much shit that came out for this I totally forgot about that spider man movie which was pretty good
Honestly I watched the whole Moon Knight series and don’t remember any of it 😬
Moon Knight slaps tho. Idk why he didn't finish it
8:14 First Charlie opinion W I’ve seen in a while.
Not just with Marvel shows either. Fuck TWD, I’ve seen only 6 seasons. Fuck Ozark, I’ve seen only 1 season. Fuck Bleach, I’ve seen only 215 Episodes. Fuck Stranger Things, I’ve seen only 1 1/2 seasons.
All ass-end shows I wasted too long on waiting for the “it will get better, just wait for it” cope to pay off and falling for it every time.
Maybe you just have bad taste if you hate things that most people like
after endgame they clearly had no idea what to do. since the 21 movies lead up to that. now we just get dog shit like thor love and thunder and MoM, I will say I very very much so enjoyed SpiderMan no way home. best thing to come out since endgame
Shang chi was fantastic too in my opinion
they do have an idea though
@@bananaking664 i really dont think they have any clue in which direction they are going
Endgame was when it went downhill. That film was such a letdown
terrifier 2 was the main movie I was excited for but I don't expect him to like it he's not into those kind of movies at all and bullet train Netflix got a big W when they added it
Top Gun: Maverick and Northman were the only true standouts of this year.
Ofc some were really good like Batman, Everything Everywhere, Avatar.
But most others are just bland
Avatar? Good? Eh
ngl I agree with a lot of stuff this man says but Moon Knight was a pretty good show
Infinity war was the peak... Endgame was the beginning of the decline.
I feel like Marvel Studios sole purpose in hollywood is to give high profile actors job security in between oscar bait crap.
Bro I can't believe people are saying this just now, this has been the whole superhero genre since it's inception it's just 90% garbage 10% actual good movies with effort put into them
What's funny is "phase _" is just a title. They don't know what they're building up to, it just sounds cool. They even admitted that they have no direction after phase 4, they just wanted to bring in diversity
Movies I watched
Shang chi -Really liked it but went in with low expectations
No way home- like it but was very overrated. Disliked a lot of the dialogue and felt like a lot of fanservice for the sake of fanservice
Multiverse of madness - loved it. Feel like there is a lot of criticism that is unwarranted like reed Richards "being the smartest man but revealed their ability" but he's smart , not wise. The flaw of those characters was their arrogance
Was gonna watch Thor 4 but just got busy and heard it wasn't good so I might go in with realistic expectations
Shows
Wandavision- was great. Still felt there's unfair criticism with the ending.
Falcon and winter soldier-felt very unfocused. Sam's final speech really drove home how little sense the whole show meant. I get what he was trying to say but the execution was kind of garbage
Moon Knight- I thought it was great when it came to the characters but the action was lackluster.
It's almost turned into 100% fan service content, and I can't blame them honestly. The shows and movies will always be slightly above average at best, boring at worst. It's about half and half.
He really doesn’t… he’s right about marvel being bad tho
I'd normally agree but his Moon Knight take was downright terrible
@@C3H5N3O9 I actually didn't like his moonknight take either but he didn't finish watching the show and didn't say it was bad or anything. He just said it was boring, I liked moon knight a lot but i don't think his take was 'terrible'.
@@heatrs4717 "Charlie has the best takes"
"I actually didn't like his take"
Pick one
@@stevendemayo3631 Damn u really got me there! clearly I was saying he was a perfect human being who never said anything I disagree with and not that I just think a majority of his takes are good.
The batman was my favorite movie of the year
Moon night has been the best they’ve released other than Loki you’re crazy!
Marvel is trying so hard to have another Infinity War so they're saturating us with movies and shows until something happens
The only good thing Marvel made recently that I think was good was Loki, other then that, everything else was pretty bad. Though I don't blame the people working on them because of the fact that they have so many movies being thrown at them expecting them to be done in a small period of time.
I liked Loki tbh and thought,
“Wow they really wanna delve into Loki’s character” then after the finale I realised,
“This was just one big ad for Kang The Conquer” like who even cares anymore? You hype up one villain for 10 years - then say “Nah this guy’s even worse - wait another 10 years and find out!”
Loki and no way home were the only memorable ones out of the 2000 projects they released this year
the concept of loki is such a good concept and a perfect setting for the character, but I can't look past what it does to the mcu as a whole
They're so concerned with making the storyline work throughout everything that they've forgotten to make good movies first and worry about it fitting perfectly later
Disney plus' existance means that everything will be quantity over quality, star wars is too but to a lesser degree
I thought the movie about the 10 rings from the mandarin was cool
The only good things in phase 4 were Loki and no way home I 100% agree with Charlie on this one. Moon knight was the biggest disappointment for me
I loved spiderman endgame... Whoops I mean no way home
indeed
They did this on purpose to experiment and see what people like and then to zero in on that in the upcoming phases.
That's actually a sound theory. But it would mean that they have the most expensive research teams in the industry
@@malicekerendu3574 They do have Disney at their backs currently
@@jashawnthornton7562 he was making fun of yoy
stfu marvel stan. yeah use billions on experiments XD sounds like Disney alright.
Y'all are really pressed over some superhero media huh?
It's not only Marvel, it can possibly be Disney as well since they own Marvel.
Marvel is just going through a phase.
Charlie was definitely out of his mind when he said moon knight sucked
‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ will be the ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ of the Ant-Man films.
Better off reading the actual gore the god butcher arch/storyline and 2016 moonknight run.
Boy are you in for a treat with the new Ant Man movie coming out lol
Lmao that was even worse
I ….NEED…the best MOISTIES FOR GAMES
