I watched plane with my mom in the AMC theatre at universal studios and tbh, it wasn't that bad. Sure it was simplistic in a lot of ways but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. It was also loaded with action and the story was always moving so I was never bored while watching it. I think Charles takes the L on this one tbh.

Charlie talks about the scene where Brodie calls his daughter at the 8:02 mark in this video, but I guess he missed that the daughter was clearly writing down what he said and then contacted the airline? There’s literally a scene that happens a few minutes later where another character re-affirms that this is exactly what happened. I agree about that big climax kill at the end being disappointing though. They shot and edited it like the movie was rated PG.
