2013 Chevy Cruze 1.4L thermostat replacement

- Replaced thermostat on a 2013 Chevy Cruze LT 1.4L engine. Removing the torx bolts may require socket extensions of different sizes. Recommend using medium size pliers to remove side hose on thermostat as the clamp may be a bit difficult to reach and remove. I recommend using a torque wrench when tightening the thermostat bolts. I didn't had one in hand in this video.
Tools needed:
E10 torx external bit socket (must have for this car)
Ratchet socket and extensions
Flat blade screwdriver
Pliers

If you drive a Chevy sonic turbo like me. Get ready to have limited/ tight space in your engine bay. Disconnect your battery. Or not your choice but I chose to be safe. Take off the air filter hose. Put a rag in the turbo so that nothing fall into your turbo. Disconnect the thermostat sensor. Disconnect your ventilation hose from your turbo, be gentle or it will break. I have disconnected mine gently several times and it is still good. Disconnect the bottom hose from the coolant reservoir. Disconnect the large hose coming from the radiator to the thermostat. Take out the three bolts and set to the side. These require a 8mm socket. Then disconnect the hose on the back of the thermostat. Buy some hose clamps and you will love your self again. It can be done without but it takes longer, I know. Then put it all back together. Connect the new thermostat to the hose in the back. Put the new thermostat on with the bolts you set to the side. Tighten snug. Connect the big hose coming from the radiator and push the retainer back in. Reconnect the bottom hose to the reservoir. Connect the ventilation hose back to the turbo. Connect the sensor on the thermostat. Pull out the rag and put the air filter hose back on. Fill up your coolant reservoir again. Let your car run once filled. Get the air out of your lines by using the valve under the reservoir. I use a wide stubby flat head. Reconnect your battery. Done. Get back to being happy. I hope this has helped someone.
Tools
1.) 8mm socket. works fine.
2.) Flat head screw driver. You always need.
3.) Hose clamps. Will help greatly.
4.) Pliers. You always need.

It would be nice if the hoses and connectors were zoomed in on and tools used were mentioned as the replacement was being done. This is evident because the video is only 5:40 and this certainly isn't a 6 minute job.
What size Torx socket is required for removing the bolts on the thermostat housing?

For some reason when connecting everything back together the hose that connects to the thermostat (with the clip) is loose and does not tighten as much and now leaks. Any pointers? 4:08

Why didn't u tell the size of the 3 bolts socket size for the thermostat housing it is a E-10 everyone
at 0:50 you say, take "this" out. What is "this"? I snapped that tube trying to take it out now I need to replace it but I cant find its name in books or parts catalogs

it's pretty close to a 10 minute job. you need a flathead, a pair of pliers, small extension for your ratchet, and the torx bit, sorry can't remember what size. pretty simple
It's funny you didn't in 5 minutes. If you take it to a shop, it takes 5 hours. SMH
I am sure it took him more than 5 minutes. He edited the clip to make it easier for us to follow. However, I do get your point. It would sit in the shop for many days.
