2013 Chevy Cruze 1.4L thermostat replacement
Replaced thermostat on a 2013 Chevy Cruze LT 1.4L engine. Removing the torx bolts may require socket extensions of different sizes. Recommend using medium size pliers to remove side hose on thermostat as the clamp may be a bit difficult to reach and remove. I recommend using a torque wrench when tightening the thermostat bolts. I didn't had one in hand in this video.
Tools needed:
E10 torx external bit socket (must have for this car)
Ratchet socket and extensions
Flat blade screwdriver
Pliers
Part purchased:

HP EliteBook 740 G1 trackpad replacement
Переглядів 3,9 тис.4 роки тому
Replacing a trackpad on an HP Elitebook 840 G1 is almost exactly the same how it is shown on this video. Accessing the trackpad involves removing the back cover assembly where you can also access the system board and processor. Removing the trackpad doesn't involve removing any more major components other than the hard drive and back cover assembly which requires removing about every screw on t...

Replacing screens on other HP notebooks produced around the same period are similar to the instructions shown in this video. Only difference would be there might be extra screws on the bezel or extra cables connecting to the screen. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver

Replacing a keyboard on a HP mt40 is similar to the instructions shown in this video. Tip: If having difficulty installing the screws when installing the new keyboard, a trick is to push up one side of the keyboard, flip the laptop, then on the same side turn the screw to "catch" it in the socket. Tools needed: Phillips screwdriver
Chevy Cruze PCV fix kit V2 for 1.4L engine install
Переглядів 11 тис.4 роки тому
Installed this on a 2013 Chevy Cruze LT 1.4L engine. The install process isn't difficult but can be time consuming if you find out you need to purchase certain tools while doing the job. I had to purchase a file and brake cleaner in the middle of the job. This video is based on the instructions on Chevytalk forum. www.cruzetalk.com/threads/how-to-gm-1-4l-luv-luj-pcv-fix-kit-v2-install.230266/ I...

CPU fan replacement for HP 255 G5 laptop. Access to RAM modules, CPU, hard drive is also shown in this video. Instructions for accessing CPU fan on earlier models of HP 255 are very similar to the instructions shown in this video. Tools needed: Micro Phillips-head screwdriver, flat-blade screwdriver
Would you happen to know which SATA cable I need for this model? I can’t find one by searching this model (MT41). Thanks
Why didn't u tell the size of the 3 bolts socket size for the thermostat housing it is a E-10 everyone
Very useful video! Congrats!
Bro didn't even mix the epoxy! Lolololol!
I meant cut off the electric first ?
Do you need to get off electric first ?
Easy to follow thank you!
it's pretty close to a 10 minute job. you need a flathead, a pair of pliers, small extension for your ratchet, and the torx bit, sorry can't remember what size. pretty simple
Just a tip, don't put your fingers too close to drill bits
the orange thing is the cpu right?
It's funny you didn't in 5 minutes. If you take it to a shop, it takes 5 hours. SMH
I am sure it took him more than 5 minutes. He edited the clip to make it easier for us to follow. However, I do get your point. It would sit in the shop for many days.
From where I can by this kit
Wow! Didnt even know to mix the epoxy. Oh my gah!
If you drive a Chevy sonic turbo like me. Get ready to have limited/ tight space in your engine bay. Disconnect your battery. Or not your choice but I chose to be safe. Take off the air filter hose. Put a rag in the turbo so that nothing fall into your turbo. Disconnect the thermostat sensor. Disconnect your ventilation hose from your turbo, be gentle or it will break. I have disconnected mine gently several times and it is still good. Disconnect the bottom hose from the coolant reservoir. Disconnect the large hose coming from the radiator to the thermostat. Take out the three bolts and set to the side. These require a 8mm socket. Then disconnect the hose on the back of the thermostat. Buy some hose clamps and you will love your self again. It can be done without but it takes longer, I know. Then put it all back together. Connect the new thermostat to the hose in the back. Put the new thermostat on with the bolts you set to the side. Tighten snug. Connect the big hose coming from the radiator and push the retainer back in. Reconnect the bottom hose to the reservoir. Connect the ventilation hose back to the turbo. Connect the sensor on the thermostat. Pull out the rag and put the air filter hose back on. Fill up your coolant reservoir again. Let your car run once filled. Get the air out of your lines by using the valve under the reservoir. I use a wide stubby flat head. Reconnect your battery. Done. Get back to being happy. I hope this has helped someone. Tools 1.) 8mm socket. works fine. 2.) Flat head screw driver. You always need. 3.) Hose clamps. Will help greatly. 4.) Pliers. You always need. New thermostat 25200455 I bought mine on Amazon for $47.
Thanks a lot to you Bro! F*uck GM Engineers with their PCV System. They f*cked Chevi and Opel industry and still didn't upgrade or fix it.
But i can change the processor like 1.8Ghz to 3.4Ghz
i like it when peeple put the date on the vid.
Awesome video, easy to follow, I fixed it yay.
at 0:50 you say, take "this" out. What is "this"? I snapped that tube trying to take it out now I need to replace it but I cant find its name in books or parts catalogs
😂
Thanks buddy. Appreciate the video. Done and fixed.
What size Torx socket is required for removing the bolts on the thermostat housing?
E-10
It would be nice if the hoses and connectors were zoomed in on and tools used were mentioned as the replacement was being done. This is evident because the video is only 5:40 and this certainly isn't a 6 minute job.
Replaced mine in 2021....thanks
Awesome video man, Just replaced the touchpad in my laptop as well. In the rebuild phase, I recheck the alignment of the touchpad in relation to the buttons, as these could be slight-ly askew.
Stopped watching after I saw how he applied the epoxy😐
Converted mine to a PC .
For some reason when connecting everything back together the hose that connects to the thermostat (with the clip) is loose and does not tighten as much and now leaks. Any pointers? 4:08
Replace the hose
what CPU can I upgrade my 255 g5 to?
Be sure to mix the two parts of epoxy together before applying it to the bolt (or anything else for that matter). Never apply it directly to the part from the two applicator tubes as it won't mix properly. If you haven't installed the intake yet, I'd check that bolt, inside the port, to make sure the epoxy hardened up. If it's still malleable, you may want to redo it with mixed epoxy.
Exactly!!!!!!! I don't know why people who have no idea what they're doing post videos online.
Is it possible to upgrade its Cpu ?
