His first feature of tracking raid movements is genius, it would completely change up movement patterns as people would study that shit and for the first week it would be ambush central all over!
I think that instead of seeing everyones movement, u could only see movement of the players u grab cam footage from. Cause ambush central would f my heart over :D
@@nicky4772 I could see that being how it should be done or only done if you interact with another pmc or player scav. If you kill them, they kill you, or you voip them within a certain proximity. The voip proximity would be hilarious when you and another dude are talking shit and after action you see a third that was ratting and noped the fuck out. 😆
And dont forget, the heatmap will also show where ambushes happen, therefore the rats will avoid it, therefore the chads learn the new paths, so a constant cycle of adaption from both sides

I think, an entire raid recording that you can watch offline "ingame" after the raid is done would be great. That could also be used to report cheaters.
Once they add head cameras that might be a thing, it is a great idea though.

@@nfaisnfgay this was my 6th wipe and that is the reason I stopped playing on day 5 of the wipe. Got tired of all the bullshit and even though I have been running the same servers for multiple wipes I was now getting DC'd almost every raid. No longer had that early tarkov feeling and the quests got super super super fukin boring. Switched to squad and awaiting stalker 2! Squad has been a blast especially with the MEE mod. I pay 5.99 a month for a whitelist on BaD servers and even if there's 25 person queue on their MEE server I get in immediately.

My problem with it is at 0:12, "General" Sam (has he ever served? He probably never served) suggests removing SuperFormance from Tarkov. That's a no-go and a no-watch from me. What an absolutely ridiculed idea that is if he knows anything about fire rams, specifically the dynamics of a slug like that. It is by far one of the most lethal, most tactical ammunitions to ever be created and something I have used to end many PMC lives in Tarkov. There are many nonnecessary rounds, that is NOT one of them and given how many views this guy seems to get y'oud think h'ed have some interspection and realize that with influence comes responsibility.

Ive been saying that an overview feature or even a theatre mode would be such a beneficial tool, you can use it to see whos doing what where . If you suspect a cheater is in the game you can leave the riad and see who it was. It would also be cool to use to make videos/movies, like red vs blue but in tarkov
that would help to see if it was getting tarkoved(desync) or cheats,
they wont add a cam. it will expose how bad the game is either with lag or cheating
and to be honest all they would need to do is copy the pubg system where you cant view it until your entire team is dead/extracted. its not a hard concept lol
@@SauceyCos and if you knew anything about PUBG, you'd know the system fucking sucks. The replays aren't even the same every time you watch them. The mouse movements look strange and aren't accurate. Also, there is no "copying" a system like that.
@@C0necat i mean i'd still takje pubg system over nothing? when pubg first released the kill cam you couldve told your teammates where they were. then they made it so you cant see it till out of raid, then they did the replay system. so yes i know what im talking about. the point of the replay isnt just to see their system perfectly from the angle. Its almost impossible even good replay systems like COD or other AAA games struggle with it. its not fully accurate even league struggles with it. Its never really going to be a 1 to 1. theirs always going to be issues. But i'd still take PUBG replay system over nothing and question if you got killed in a suspicious way or actual legit.
I love how Sam thinks that if we know he's eating Sour Cream and Onion Pringles we will understand why he was so distracted. As if eating the original ones wouldn't have enthralled his senses as much.
Evolve also had this feature at the end of the match it would show a full map and show what happened when and where in a match. Definitely would be an awesome feature to include in tarkov

Maybe even make the level of information scale with intelligence center and perception leveling or something... give low level players a basic rundown, higher level players get a little more (but not game breaking since all this information would be after raid has concluded) detailed information. Just a thought.
They need to add a fart feature, like if you eat certain foods your PMC will toot revealing your location when you just camp in a building for 30 minutes

Everytime sam uploads a tarkov video, it feels like watching a show that aired at 12am but is then re aired at 1pm, you've seen it already but there's nothing else better to watch, so you just sit through the same thing over again, that's what tarkov is, the same thing over and over again

This feature has been on the top of the Hunt Showdown communities for ages. The devs have said they're working on it but it has been years at this point.
Its not like it's an easy thing to do. It's probably a very, very annoying thing to do. Its definitely possible but from Crytek and BSG? Probably not.

Just started playing Tarkov and can say Sam has singlehandedly indoctrinated me into being a rat and I already have a million roubles.

2D replay has been one of the most requested features in Hunt: Showdown for years now, and we still haven't gotten it.
I don't know how much it's been requested by Tarkov's community (apparently not much, since Sam's made this video), but *good fucking luck* waiting for another few years for it, since apparently it isn't that low-key ezpz to implement as one might think, if it hasn't been planned for during the games inception..
I agree, this idea for seeing where players and yourself went through the map would add a lot to Tarkov. You could see where hotspots are, where you should avoid, where you should go, and plan accordingly next raid. Having icons for where you died. This is such a great idea Sam, and to be honest I've thought about this too. I remember other games had similar "heat maps" where it showed just blips of deaths and splotches of what areas got traveled the most, I believe it was one of the older CoD games, but I could be wrong. Regardless this would help out Tarkov players so much!

Another feature which isn't really helpful but I've talked about it with my friends. Some type of Item history feature, where you'd be able to see the ownership records of the item. Not practical but it would be funny to find some killa body arma that's been owned be 50 odd different people.

@@carnifex423 BSG has shown they're marginally more inclined to put in features the community wants, and you know who represents the community? UA-camrs, Streamers, Sherpas, etc. I think it's really foolish to think there isn't even ONE employee at BSG that looks to streamers / youtubers for suggestions. Because like you said, it's asinine to try and listen to the suggestions of hundreds of thousands of nerds, but if you can dilute those suggestions and perfect them, then have a figurehead like Sam, Klean, Pestily, etc. come out with that idea, it's a lot more feasible for BSG to at least consider it, over 100s of random posts on Reddit and their own forums bitching about change. The original post was just glorifying and humouring this thought, especially because Sam has had genuinely good ideas regarding the health of the game, but BSG seemingly ignores them and implements things that Pestily and Klean's viewers like more, which I find funny, because it makes Sam look like a Middle child BSG dislike.

Hey, Sam. Great video. 2D Overview is something, (now. I dunno if you remember this game) that Hunt: Showdown is still working on. Yeah, still not there on 1.9 but devs reckon it's close.
That game has really taken me in over the last year or so. Meanwhile, you seem to have set her aside. Well she's still waitin on you partner and she's ready to go when you are. I know I'm not the only one who, with all respect, is itchin to see you giving her another seeing to.

I think the main issue with adding this feature is that it gives too much information on the paths people like to use. The main point of the game is to not give blatant information like this to the point that people could literally make a heat map of likely player locations over time in raid, after thousands of data gathering attempts.

I feel like the end of raid recording would also scare the shit out of people from realizing they passed right by a PMC hiding in a bush

All fun and games until someone finds an exploit to see the end raid recap recording mid raid and use it like a insider radar.
This was my first thought too, making the data of other players locations recorded live makes hacks even easier to produce
thats no problem at all, just have the recording done by the server and sent out only after the raid has ended on the server. you'd have to deal with a delay with getting the recap if you're out particularly early but its really the only way to make sure no one abuses it.
Cheaters already have radars, so its a non issue

Evolve had the feature too where you could see where the monster was and the hunters. It was really cool and funny seeing the monster trail right behind you the whole time on the post map screen and not realize it. To bad the game got boring fast.

You know what's funny I was watching his dread hunger streams recently but tbh I'd love a recap or replay theater system in games so I see how other people play and also learn how they play but imagine the funny moments we missed out and only that person experienced, it's a shame. Though I think more games especially these days needs a recording and or replay system. Also why is Dread Hunger filled with Chinese players?
It's insane that old games like quake and halo had replays day one and it was expected. But something happened and now you have to BEG to get even a basic replay system let alone a heatmap

i think it removes some magic having higher knowledge that you couldn't get on your own. They should probably internally have the feature just for dev info though, makes it more obvious where you plant more items or alter stages

I think we both know that a raid recap feature would be way too fraught with bugs, and probably would just open our eyes up to even more bullshit that goes on behind the scenes. It would make it harder for BSG to downplay issues and deny accountability, so it will never happen.

for real, Veiled Experts is a game i just caught in Beta a month or so ago and it had this feature and let me tell ya, the amount of joy I got from being able to clearly show my idiot friends my mistakes and x100 more fun, THEIR MISTAKES and we no one can argue who the asshole was who went to the other side of the map while we all struggled to live. I first saw the map match recap feature in an old xbox 360 slender clone game called “White Noise Online”. Was super hilarious to see where everyone died or did absolutely nothing lol.

Just yesterday i was talking with a buddy and we talked about how a Heatmap would be nice following a raid. With maybe some stats like, amount of scavs killed, if the boss killed some people, who killed who, value of loot extracted, etc.
