I remember the second run I attempted with my friend we ran into a druid who had mastered the art of hit and run tactics. He would turn into a panther, gouge out my poor friend's stomach, and immediately shapeshift into a rat to reduce his hitbox and scamper away into the darkness. I managed to get him by filling the room with fire. Unfortunately, my friend died shortly after due to unforeseen circumstances.
As a druid player, he is not a master. The rat dodge is a terrible idea because there is a hitbox delay when shapeshifting. This delay causes you to have a non existent hitbox where your human used to be, but the health pool of a rat, so there are moments where someone can hit where you used to be and insta kill you on the spot.
2:30 There are Health potions (heals over time) or bandages (heals immediately) also Druid and Clerics have healing spells. Bards can make resting heal more with Song of Tranquility

And while I do enjoy watching you as a new player it hurts my soul as a bard player for you to say your helping while casting a song that is a self buff, meanwhile there are like 8 songs that do allow you to do nothing but play music (2 of which deal damage in an aoe!) I would love to chill with you and teach you the ways of the bard because it is such a fun class.
There's this game "Brutal Legend" that your habilities and boosts come from guitar solos played like this too, maybe you'll like it. It's a Hack'n'slash game with driving and sometimes real time strategy too lol

Sound is incredibly important in high roller because you can tell what weapons, class, armor, or skill the enemy is using as well as location. Music would ruin that.
Thr Bard is a lot of fun. Sadly, there's really only a select set of songs that will do you any good in the meta: - Shriek of Weakness - This is your opening song for any enemy, reducing their arnor class significantly. - Rousing Rhythms - This is your most important song. +2 to every attribute is super strong and helps with everything. - Beats of Alacrity - Added move speed is always a plus - Ballad of Courage - Added physical power means more damage. Always solid. - Aria of Alacrity - Extra action speed helps with just about everything you interact with. Then, there are the utility songs, of which there are three that are notable: - Piercing Shrill - It does AoE damage. Doesn't sound much like utility, right? It is. You can knock Rogues out of invisibility from behind a door, you can kill spider mummies in a group, and if a Druid runs by you in rat form, you can nuke him. - Tranquility - This is an underrated buff. Play it just before you drink a potion, then drink and sit down. It's almost as good as a campfire.

As someone who played during beta and alpha play tests. This is by far the best the game has felt since before Warlock was introduced (a little over a year ago). It's came a looooonnnnggg way, and I still wouldn't call it balanced. But I love it. It's kept my smooth little brain yearning for more since the first time I played

You should probably know that the peacemaking song doesn't stop anyone inside it's effect from casting spells. Meaning if you ran wizards or warlocks with your bard you could literally make the enemies stop fighting and just eat fireballs. Happy hunting!
I really miss the portal extraction element tho, personally thought it was super fun fighting over portals that erupted from the ground. And if you wanted a challenge or just desperate to extract you could take a red bortal that took you to actual hell that was a really hard area.
try running charismatic performance. It is designed so if you miss a note you still cast the best version of the spell but because of this you can use it with spells with large gaps in notes to flat our reduce the casting speed of the song by over half. Shriek of weakness is a good example. Do the first note and then click again and it will skip all the way past the next available note.
I recommend switching your q to encore it plays faster and has a really quick recharge compared to dissonance which I never used since I forgot it existed

Habie you need to play baldurs gate 3! Its the best RPG you can play as a bard in. There's SO many wonderful touches to let you RP as a bard.
