Ellis Dee they’ve literally added more to GTA Online while RDO just stagnates, and trust me it’s sooo much worse on console, we only have auto aim lobbies and people act like they’re skilled while the game literally aims for you.

Yes it is definitively better to put more incentives on the way you want your game to played or to make that playstyle less punishing, instead of punishing the behavior you don't want in your game.
You don't lose money. That's a few more dead rats. Depending on which side of a map you are on, that could mean entire spots of the map are vacant. The other guys either have full bags and are getting out of there too at that point, or they are afraid of all the grenades and shit going on. If it happens in the first 10 minutes, the only thing you gotta worry about once half the PMCs are dead are player scavs.
Thank god sam said this. Everyone thinks this change will make people bring in more gear to increase chances of survival, when all it does is create more gear fear by not having a definite way to make the cost of the loadout back causing people to spend less and avoid more gunfights. Not groovy baby, not groovy at all.
@@monkeyjesus3470 what type of Bathsalts were you on when you came to the consense that the point of tarkov is to survive, i mean yeah you survive to ESCAPE, you know "ESCAPE FROM TARKOV". Not being a total survival game and having a secure vault and home that can't be raided by an opposing player is what makes tarkov tarkov. If this were a survival game you have 90% of your good gear on you so when you die you have to take hours upon hours and grind that gear back, tarkov nulifys that aspect by being able to load you up with a good gear set in one run or killing a stacked player with a pistol or axe, with this update its essentially turning into survival game without the survival, not being on ur tiptoes the entire game knowing you could get back what you lost in minutes instead of hours is why so many people who like survivalesc games floc go tarkov.

I must say... I did love the market. It was like EVE. It kept me in the game, because if I couldn't beat them in the field, I could beat them in the market! Yes. I'm _that_ low!
Even as a chad now (former rat), I still resent the flea market changes. The flea market used to be like the grand exchange from runescape, it allowed you to play day-trader without risking real financial assets. It was another aspect of fun to the game, it's what helped me make chad loadouts despite being lvl-10, flipping certain items and whatnot. Runescape even has a real-time stock price counter, showing what's up and what's down, basically a full blown wall-street in an mmorpg which gives it a lot of vitality as a game.

if the inventory space was infinite, losing "found in raid" status would be ok, you'd just hoard important stuff for the hideout or expensive ammo, since it's not, this patch just ups the frustrating factor
That's the same thing I thought when I saw patch notes. Now you have to be extra careful and take no risks if you find usb stick or anything. That fuckin stick is worthless if it isn't found in raid.
we nerfed the escape of tarkov, but we buffed the entrance. We even installed a sign that say's Ratting will set you free in german you guys are going to love it!
Every patch, they add some more economy or buffs or soft skills for No Lifers so as to tip the scale in their favor for seal clubbing. I now can no longer cause harm to geared players because of their superior gear and I've run more than 50 raids and have only survived a gunshot a single time. Every shot from every gun one shots me. I routinely die and see after action reports saying I landed 10-30 hits on my enemy. To clarify, I hit people 10-30 times without killing them and they need only hit me once. The seal clubbing is so bad that if I outplay an opponent so much that I score 30 times as many hits as them before they land their first hit and only hit on me, I will lose the confrontation every single time. The seal clubbery is so extreme that being 30 times better than someone that plays all day is not enough. My top rounds so far are dumping 2 mags of Saiga into a guy and reading that his armor prevented over 1000 damage despite my shots landing on his neck and chin and a round using an AK-74U where I landed 143 hits on a guy before he hit me once. Total hits: 143. Total damage: 143. The seal clubbing is ridiculous. Just because some guy plays all day, the game mechanics hand him the victory in every firefight against casual players, even if the fight starts with the casual dumping an entire mag into him before he finally figures out what's going wrong. Then he only has to land one shot on me to wipe me out. Also, he gets to earn his entire kit passively while in the raid, so even if he somehow died, it wouldn't matter to him. And then on top of that, he runs faster, moves silently, jumps higher, etc etc etc.

This patching of loot found against selling it on the market is insanity. Tarkov devs literally forget 24/7 that the majority of its players have OTHER OBLIGATIONS A LIFE OUTSIDE of just fucking playing this game. Yes it can be fun also extremely frustrating and timesinking to the next level. I cant go wasting time in it anymore I have other difficult games to play that are more enjoyable. Dark souls, bloodborne, Doom, Mordhau, Insurgency Sandstorm my crippling mod addicted gameplay of skyrim. Its like wtf ... the flea market in my eyes was for the most part that one little tool so that people who cant play as well can still make some scratch on the side by being SMART ECONOMICS.

It seems like they're trying to make the game as absolutely unapproachable to new players as possible. I already suck at Tarkov and this wipe basically made it unplayable. The game is literally turning into 95% of players eternally grinding scav runs because they have 0 rubles, and the other 5% taking all of the dev's attention and making them constantly rebalance the game around them because they get loot too fast

I’m a new style of player, “The no-loot headhunter” here’s how: 1) kill tons of people and take like only a gun, armor, and ammo 2) Sell some guns, and armor, never ammo 3) Be like a rat, but deadlier
I have since switched to this as well and it works. Currently level 34, sitting on 40 mill, and really don't care about loot. I feel like this wipe has made me switch playstyles to a shadow headhunter, move quick, sit for a bit, move again, sit, move etc etc all the while looking for a head to put an M61 into. I prefer solo as I feel this game isn't really optimized for groups, but if you're in a group setup ambushes.
Honestly the new found in raid mechanic incentivize the rat like playstyle. It means most players are rewarded more for going out of their way to not pvp and just loot.
Be careful, you’ll get yelled at by some loser who spends 14 hours a day on tarkov telling you he deserves more because the rest of his life is a joke. In all reality, yeah this was shortsighted and entirely unnecessary, and does nothing to fix any of the “issues” they were trying to address. Fun nerfs, nothing more
Plenty of people wanted this, not just "shroud", lol. This slows the gameplay down (and most people say they like early game tarkov, so why are you whining that early game is longer now that you cant buy your way to end game through quests?) and kills market botters in one fell swoop.

Those mechanic weapon modification lines are going to take weeks to finish a single one since most items on the market are going to be selling for triple on every item needed. The devs are delf inflating thsir economy and making a scarcity.

Yes. Say you a As Val guy, then get to a point later in wipe that you dnt want to run that gun anymore. You are forced to sell it to traders instead of posting it on market. Say you are a new player, wanted to test the SR-25 out. Get one off a Raider in labs, take it into a match, decide its not your style because its single fire, you cant even lost it on flea market after. And EVERYTHING Sam said in the beginning is true, like why tf I gotta kill 15 scavs while break dancing and doing 3 spins on the top of my head, Jager missions are fuckin stupid and pointless. We ALL gotta address the elephant in the room. Nikita is a fuckin retard when it comes to creating content based task and addressing some of the games issues.

@@50thvelocitygaming25 I sell 10 guns... bam 400k. I sell the mags, ammo, and attachments. Bam 9m minimum, just with market manipulations. Thats like 7-8 fairly modestly kitted runs or 4-5 bomb squad runs. I understand that cheaters are aids, but the flea market made getting halfway decent gear for the gauntlet that is dorms as a newer account possible without spending entire play sessions just getting enough supplies to kit up once or twice then spawning infront of a mosin scav. Slight side note. they really do need to spread the dorms quests out to some other maps. I know for a while it was just factory and customs, but when most of the starter and mid level quests are centered on two fucking worker's dorms in a city that housed millions, its just damn silly at this point.
It's worth noting Tarkov runs only 20 tick servers, that's why Sam's teammate stuttered right infront of him at 9:15 The severs seriously need to upgrade to 60 tick minimum really.

Flea market is not make or break tbh. The objective isn't only to find/sell items, there is alot more to the game. Though, the whole found in raid bullshit for quest items is fucking stupid.
You have no idea how infuriating this patch has been in regards to the "FIR" tag...it's got to a point where I've considered putting tarkov down until another major update...it's been less than 2 fucking weeks. I would have liked a middle ground where an XP requirement has to be met for FIR tag to be on container items, even if it is a few thousand but this...this is beyond reprehensible.
Yea that would make alot more sense, XP requirement, even 1000 would be more than any hatchet runner gets, and still encourages you to engage in combat.
the secure container combined with static loot spawns are very serious issues, the devs are beating around the bush with these idiotic fixes. i've played many hours of dayz epoch and exile, those mods stroke a very good balance between loot and dying which is something tarkov needs to do
I don’t get how people struggle with reaching 10 fast. For me it was literally 2 runs on Factory. And I’m fucking terrible at PvP - got carried by Killa armor, Maska and RPK which was the very first thing I went to get after launching the game this wipe.

Then there's games like Skyrim where you can break the economy, Sam figured it out with salmon roe and the transmute ore spell. In my opinion transmute ore is one of the best spells in the game, I use it to turn iron to gold and craft jewelry to up my smithing and then sell the jewelry for profit
Honestly, markets are usually my favorite parts in MMOs and games like this. It can feel so rewarding being able to buy and sell high and just.. well play smart.
Ya Fleamarket was full of fucking donkeys reselling whole stocks of Items and you couldnt buy shit the proper way. Totaly fine economy. I wish they would add the FIR thing for guns too... so i can Barter an VSS from Prapor because now its out of stock 10 seconds after reset becasue some APE still sells 80 VSS without barrel on the flea market for 55k for no reason, who the hell buys from those resellers even ?

Nah, it's been the most fun wipe in a long time. Got into way more fights than usual because people aren't just sprinting straight through PC rooms and leaving in the first 3 minutes of a raid. Patch incentivizes people to stay in raids longer.

Not being a total survival game and having a secure vault and home that can't be raided by an opposing player is what makes tarkov tarkov. If this were a survival game you have 90% of your good gear on you so when you die you have to take hours upon hours and grind that gear back, tarkov nulifys that aspect by being able to load you up with a good gear set in one run or killing a stacked player with a pistol or axe, with this update its essentially turning into survival game without the survival, not being on ur tiptoes the entire game knowing you could get back what you lost in minutes instead of hours is why so many people who like survivalesc games floc go tarkov.

Even as a chad now (former rat), I still resent the flea market changes. The flea market used to be like the grand exchange from runescape, it allowed you to play day-trader without risking real financial assets. It was another aspect of fun to the game, it's what helped me make chad loadouts despite being lvl-10, flipping certain items and whatnot. Runescape even has a real-time stock price counter, showing what's up and what's down, basically a full blown wall-street in an mmorpg which gives it a lot of vitality as a game.
I'll sit in a bush for 20 minutes in the raid scrolling through Instagram to make it through a raid. Don't test me Nikita.

Every patch, they add some more economy or buffs or soft skills for No Lifers so as to tip the scale in their favor for seal clubbing. I now can no longer cause harm to geared players because of their superior gear and I've run more than 50 raids and have only survived a gunshot a single time. Every shot from every gun one shots me. I routinely die and see after action reports saying I landed 10-30 hits on my enemy. To clarify, I hit people 10-30 times without killing them and they need only hit me once.
The seal clubbing is so bad that if I outplay an opponent so much that I score 30 times as many hits as them before they land their first hit and only hit on me, I will lose the confrontation every single time. The seal clubbery is so extreme that being 30 times better than someone that plays all day is not enough.
My top rounds so far are dumping 2 mags of Saiga into a guy and reading that his armor prevented over 1000 damage despite my shots landing on his neck and chin and a round using an AK-74U where I landed 143 hits on a guy before he hit me once. Total hits: 143. Total damage: 143. The seal clubbing is ridiculous. Just because some guy plays all day, the game mechanics hand him the victory in every firefight against casual players, even if the fight starts with the casual dumping an entire mag into him before he finally figures out what's going wrong. Then he only has to land one shot on me to wipe me out. Also, he gets to earn his entire kit passively while in the raid, so even if he somehow died, it wouldn't matter to him. And then on top of that, he runs faster, moves silently, jumps higher, etc etc etc.

They've now patched out container-backpack stacking in stash, weapons require found in raid to sell, and you can craft graphics cards in your stash.

This patching of loot found against selling it on the market is insanity. Tarkov devs literally forget 24/7 that the majority of its players have OTHER OBLIGATIONS A LIFE OUTSIDE of just fucking playing this game. Yes it can be fun also extremely frustrating and timesinking to the next level. I cant go wasting time in it anymore I have other difficult games to play that are more enjoyable. Dark souls, bloodborne, Doom, Mordhau, Insurgency Sandstorm my crippling mod addicted gameplay of skyrim.

It seems like they're trying to make the game as absolutely unapproachable to new players as possible. I already suck at Tarkov and this wipe basically made it unplayable. The game is literally turning into 95% of players eternally grinding scav runs because they have 0 rubles, and the other 5% taking all of the dev's attention and making them constantly rebalance the game around them because they get loot too fast

I have since switched to this as well and it works. Currently level 34, sitting on 40 mill, and really don't care about loot. I feel like this wipe has made me switch playstyles to a shadow headhunter, move quick, sit for a bit, move again, sit, move etc etc all the while looking for a head to put an M61 into. I prefer solo as I feel this game isn't really optimized for groups, but if you're in a group setup ambushes.

Honestly the new found in raid mechanic incentivize the rat like playstyle. It means most players are rewarded more for going out of their way to not pvp and just loot.

Those mechanic weapon modification lines are going to take weeks to finish a single one since most items on the market are going to be selling for triple on every item needed. Thats like 7-8 fairly modestly kitted runs or 4-5 bomb squad runs. I understand that cheaters are aids, but the flea market made getting halfway decent gear for the gauntlet that is dorms as a newer account possible without spending entire play sessions just getting enough supplies to kit up once or twice then spawning infront of a mosin scav.
Slight side note. they really do need to spread the dorms quests out to some other maps. I know for a while it was just factory and customs, but when most of the starter and mid level quests are centered on two fucking worker's dorms in a city that housed millions, its just damn silly at this point.
It's worth noting Tarkov runs only 20 tick servers, that's why Sam's teammate stuttered right infront of him at 9:15

You have no idea how infuriating this patch has been in regards to the "FIR" tag...it's got to a point where I've considered putting tarkov down until another major update...it's been less than 2 fucking weeks.
I would have liked a middle ground where an XP requirement has to be met for FIR tag to be on container items, even if it is a few thousand but this...this is beyond reprehensible.
Yea that would make alot more sense, XP requirement, even 1000 would be more than any hatchet runner gets, and still encourages you to engage in combat.

Nah, it's been the most fun wipe in a long time. Got into way more fights than usual because people aren't just sprinting straight through PC rooms and leaving in the first 3 minutes of a raid. Patch incentivizes people to stay in raids longer.
