Also that WM 21 Segment with Eugene & Hogan was a moment I watched over and over again as a kid. WrestleMania 21 was the first dvd I got as a kid and that segment was a standout moment on a card filled with amazing moments.
And i thought the last video with Spike Dudley was great, this one was also a great one. Well done, Maven. Hope to see you with more guests like this. Makes for some great content.
Vince wrote this.
Vince McMahon offended the audience with the character.
Vince McMahon fired an employee who did what he was told.
And Vince was the hero for firing the guy who had nothing to do with the idea but did what Vince told him to do.
we live in an evil world.
Agreed
Now Vince got what he deserves
@@ironiccookies2320 He really did.
And, some of his co-workers hated him for his spot. A spot …he did not book himself into or politic for.
You care too much about this.
This is sweet. Over the years I only heard how Hassan had heat backstage and how his life was made miserable during his time in WWE so it's really great to see him in good spirits and happy.
This is great, maven went from lost obscurity to bringing other lost characters who never got to really shine, a chance to share their story just like him.
This kind of content i think is a gold mine for both entertainment and emotionally for both former wrestlers and fans. I absolutely love these meets with the old fellas.
Oh Man. This Is the video i dream of! I Love Muhammad Hassan! So Glad seeing him with Maven :D Thank you Maven for making this possible, Never thought seeing Muhammad Hassan with Maven. MANNN I Love this man You can't imagine how happy am i.
Maven, great interview, may I suggest something? Let your guest complete their sentences before jumping in. Couple of times you cut him off and he was going to say something interesting. But I love the MHassan character and he is true to himself!
Since he's Sicilian, I bet he's used to it. We tend to do that a lot in Italy
Shut up
It looks natural specifically between these 2. I think they might know each other or something?
Both maven and marc are both teachers, I can tell it's a back and forth conversation naturally
This 40 minutes absolutely flew by.
Yup.. i thought it's 20 minutes video 😮😮
Shawn Daivari's still a producer for WWE too
Muhammad hassan was one of the best heels of the Rutheless aggression era imo.
Yess….

He was portrayed as a heel getting heel heat. But was he really a heel though? He spoke the truth.
Another home run video Maven! It’s Awesome watching your channel continue to grow.
Every other wrestling channel look for stories of top guys this is the only genuine channel that goes and look for stories of mid card guys and that's so cool specially from that era 2002-2008 so many stories such a different era!
Mav!
I loved this video. I feel like this interview is the happy ending Marc/Muhammad Hassan deserved.
Thank you for it!
I am glad to see Marc be successful outside his wrestling career and happy!
I hope you continue to do videos with other past/present talent.
Love your channel! Keep it up 🙂
most underrated wrestler of all time
Love to see the longer videos like this. Great content as always.
As a weightlifter, I hope to look half as good at his age. That's a little more than ten years away. He looks great, at any age.
PEDs baby
@@vikdaddyNo doubt about it.
He's only 42 LOL, 42 isn't that old.
@@challenger516lmao, seriously. If 42 is considered “old”, then I’m nursing home bound in the next few years
@@challenger516 Most people that I know, see or meet are fat. Thus, my prior comment.
It is a genuinely nice thing to see a man that was outright wronged by the business being so positive.
Great heel. He should've had a WWE Championship run and the dude still looks great today.
If it wasn't for UPN, he would be the legendary heel but MJF can't outlevel this guy
There was a plan for him to Beat Batista and become Champion at SummerSlam but certain events cancelled that storyline
What a time to be a wrestling fan! That muhammed hassan era was gold 😂 wrestling will never be the same
Imagine getting sent to the principal's office when the principal looks like he can tear a desk apart with his bare hands.
You know he bench presses during assemblies to lift the spirit
As a kid we saw him as a heal but now we see him as a hero
*Heel not heal.
@@โทนี่นะค่ะพร่อง yes I forgot how to spell it
Heal is like healing the wound while the Heel is the wrestling term of a bad guy
@@โทนี่นะค่ะพร่อง, It must've been a typo.
@@mgofficial5470 He was a hero to me then.
Thanks for the video! I wish Marc and successful surgery and recovery.
Only love for Mohamed Hassan, one of the few to represent Arabs in WWE
Portray** he is actually Sicilian.

Considering i havent watched wrestling in over 20 years and barely remember Maven, this channel is addictive and he's killing it
Good for you dude
Imagine doing so good at your job just to get fired for it
Thanks for your time man and for the passion you put in this character.
Everytime I see Daivari pop up as an agent in a Monday Night Raw segment I start singing Hassan's theme
@@iRajiv Why'd they keep Daivari for six more years, but never rehire Muhammad?
@@Speedyreedy1218 Daivari is still there, honestly he was a much better talent without the baggage. Was never going to be a top star though
@@iRajiv He's not "still there." He got cut, went to TNA, left there and opened a school with Molly Holly in 2017. So he must have been recently rehired within the last five years.
Muhammad had no baggage.
@@Speedyreedy1218 I don't follow his career as much as you but that's good to know he's been doing well. I just saw him on Raw last week during the Strowman/Reed match as one of the extras and sung the Hassan theme.
This interview was great, l knew Mohammed Hassan was 💯% Sicilian, but glad I got the full back story.
Met both of you at different times after a house show in grand forks North Dakota in 2005. Both of you were really nice
Michael Cole, for a decade, would proclaim, "John Cena was the most controversial superstar in the wwe!"
And I disagreed every time.
Mave! This might be my favorite video y’all have made. Interesting, insightful, funny, and as always laid back. Your channel is a blessing brother 👍
Hey Mave, Manuel here. Thanks for another great video kind sir. May all your dreams come true.
Not gonna lie, as an Arab American born and raised in Brooklyn NY, I resonated with the character LoL.
My father owns a restaurant in Brooklyn, and as a sick joke somebody called the FBI and said he had explosives hidden there. The investigators knew it was a horrible prank. No wonder I liked Muhammad Hassan hahaha
Muhammad Hassan for Hall of Fame
That ending was uplifting and heartwarming. Bravo, Maven!! 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
Maven vs Hassan vs Eugene vs Rene Dupree
Thank you for this interview Maven. It's great to see Mr. Caponi talk some more about his time. It was extra special that you interviewed him. To hear y'all's stories was great. I was mad when he was taken off TV but happy he's doing good now.
The Hassan/Stone Cold promo was gold
Great video! I love when you get to catch up with other wrestlers from your era.
Selling the Muhammad Hassan attire for $2000 on eBay? I say it's worth it.
Thank Maven for bringing us those characters ❤️ we really appreciate it and I subscribed to Marc’s son channel
40 min Maven video let’s fucking go
I would love more interviews like this with your friends and former WWE/OVW coworkers.
Muhammad Hassan Was A Great Heel Character Back In The Days...!
Amazing interview Maven! Keep ‘em coming
Muhammad Hassan would be such a babyface in this generation of WWE
Great interview. I noticed that maven acts different with guests. Doesn’t let them finish what they saying or rushing it or looking uninterested. Hope that changes in future episodes with guests.
I wish this character can come back at least just one episode guest appearance. I think we are at a point that we can accept Muhammad Hassan as a product of its time and just seeing him in the ring just one more time would feel nostalgic.
Loved this video. Full respect to Marc/Muhammad and Maven for this interview.
Muhammad Hassan not only generated heat, he made the babyface pop even louder than they normally got. Even someone like Hogan, when he came out at MSG to save HBK from Hassan and Davairi, the pop that he got made the Garden erupt! No exaggeration, Hulk and HBK got a 15 minute long standing ovation as they posed for the fans.
That’s an awesome interview Maven. Best one you’ve done so far
Legit thought that was Steve Blackman from a quick glance
Maven, this has to be one of the best videos yet! Please keep these coming. I look forward to every one!

Maven you slay these interviews EVERYTIME!... Hats off to you!.. I have never seen Mark talk about his character and matches in such detail in an interview EVER!...
It's insane see you guys in Fulton high school auditorium, that's where I went to highschool. Being a kid watching Muhammad Hassan, it's crazy seeing him in my highschool
Dammit, maven, you're gonna make me cry!
Thank you both for this interview ❤
He’s Italian?!?!?! That shit blew my mind 😂
Really enjoyed this, I enjoyed the Muhammad Hassan character, it was crazy to see that big push end with total disappearance, so it's great to see Mark is doing so well with a positive outlook on his wrestling past. The ending was pretty cute with his kids, ha, imagine telling everyone your dad beat up the Undertaker. Thanks for this Maven, hope you get more old wrestling buddies onto the channel soon.
It's always nice when you surprise us with a guest. I like your conversation style with them vs an hour long, formal studio podcast format.
Shout out Marc great dude
Did not expect this but this was probably one of my favourite videos! 👏🏻 Absolutely love this Maven!
Two intelligent people gathered to discuss about wrestling.
Man I’m loving the Mavan/Hassan collab. Good stuff guys!💪
