Dude I wanna say that it doesn’t matter if you were a mid carder or whatever these people say. You were a WWE superstar, and that alone is in my opinion a huge achievement on its own. My friend is a wrestler in his local town and he’s told me how hard it is to be noticed by WWE, and the fact that you also win tough enough makes you a legend in my eyes.

(I have a different look being Chinese, Japanese and Hawaiian) UPW (Cena was the Prototype there) accepted me but the 9-11 tragedy stopped the move in 2001. Had a match with Yuji Nagata and another with Dragon Gate. Did a Chikara event with Generico, Fire Ant, Eddie Kingston and others. Teddy Hart moonsaulted on my head. Almost had a match with AJ Styles. My FCW tryout was with AJ Lee and Adam Rose. I got to do a promo in front of the Legendary Dusty Rhodes. I had a smackdown tryout where I helped a run in with Matt Hardy. It was a short run but my regrets are not getting to meet and learn from all of the wrestlers from that time. I was a worker for 10 years (weekender) but never near the exhausting, back breaking point of wrestling on the road constantly. Search "Akua Neckbreaker". Due to this, I have absolutely no injuries or addictions. I've gone through tables, took huge moves (ex. hit a top rope DDT, did I mention Teddy Hart moonsaulted on my head, etc) Much respect to the Pros who sacrifice their body to the Sport. And much love to everyone on their path. I hope you get farther than me.

As this channel continues to grow, I don’t think it’s out of the question to see him on a PLE pre show panel, or behind the scenes somewhere. There’s no way WWE aren’t watching these since the videos directly discuss backstage ‘secrets’. Maven has presented himself so well with this channel, so although I wouldn’t count my chickens, it’s not impossible that we’d see him turn up one day.

What about his brother's tragic death in reverting to a gimmick he never wanted to do? Or finally, his career ending injury via a silly botch? Bret's always been a serious guy with little to no filter, I get he comes across as moody. But I am sick and tired of hearing these horrific takes when most in the business haven't been dragged through half of what he was, let alone (and I am trying to be polite) jabronis in comment sections.
Plus, he doesn't feel the need to wrestle in "arenas" of 20 people getting hit with lightbulbs and making $5, a beer, and a hot dog. That's reassuring.

Maven, I’m 42 years old and remember watching you during your WWE run. I actually thought your theme song was great and always liked you - you seemed like an everyman that people could connect with. I truly respect you for showing us all how human you are and taking responsibility and owning up for the past. I also lost my mother to cancer in 2019… I can’t imagine how much harder it is to lose her that young. I think the biggest gift for your mom was to see how good her son is doing in life. The mistake we make is to think that the wealth only makes them happy. They are not unhappy with it but every loving mom can't imagine of a bigger fortune than seeing her kids succeed in life! But that gift I think you dilivered masterfully!!! I love your videos Maven. I lost my dream job because I let my demons take over. My biggest regret in life was letting that happen, I’m always happy to be reminded to know that even as a firefighter or to someone like you, those demons can take over, destroy it all but still able to get back on their feet and get through it. When you’re in walking through hell, keep walking.
I felt that when you spoke about your Mom, Maven. I lost my Mother, suddenly, in the Summer of 2005, when I was 21 and it was the hardest thing to get through, as I was a certified "Momma's Boy." So awesome that you got to give back with that trip and her being able to see you reach your dreams.
Mavens such a likable individual. Even before his UA-cam days, I used to say he would have flourished if he wrestled in WWE later around the mid 2010s. Something about his style could have worked well with todays talent. I very vividly remember him working with legends like Undertaker and Triple H. I remember him facing Hunter on Sunday Night Heat. I was like 10 and cheered him on hoping he'd defeat Triple H. As a kid I hated Triple H. He was like the ultimate final boss heel to watch. Realistically Maven was never gonna be booked go win. But he had this kid believing in him and the match was memorable to me.

So cool to hear you were able to spoil and pamper your mom in her last days. I remember being a kid watching you on TE, seeing the segments where your mom was in hospital, etc. Not many moms get to see their sons achieve what you got to, and I'm sure she's beaming up there watching you do what you love, brother.

Bro the story about your mother was beautiful. Being a good son makes you a man among men. I got hurt in the military and i came back home to Tampa back in 2008 when the pill mills were huge in the area and got into the pain killers. Biggest regret of my life getting into those things but only when I lost everything it revealed the things that matter most to me. Glad you're, better i never forget how bad things got, keeps me thankful for everyday that I'm sober.

Every time you talk about your beautiful Momma, I tear up. I’m about your age, and my Mom and Grandma are all I’ve ever been able to truly count on. My Grandma died in 2020, and my Mom nearly died before the miracle of a liver transplant. I suspect I’ll have to go on without her someday, and I don’t know if I’ll be able. You and your Mom looked so very bonded and close. I’m terribly sorry you lost her far too young. 💔

I feel like a lot of your regrets were out of your control Maven! You had a heck of a run man, would have been nice if it was longer or maybe a bit different in your eyes but you still got to be a wrestler for WWE! Many of us dreamt of that but left it as just a dream!

Dude I wanna say that it doesn’t matter if you were a mid carder or whatever these people say. You were a WWE superstar, and that alone is in my opinion a huge achievement on its own. My friend is a wrestler in his local town and he’s told me how hard it is to be noticed by WWE, and the fact that you also win tough enough makes you a legend in my eyes.

I tried to get into the business years ago. (I have a different look being Chinese, Japanese and Hawaiian) UPW (Cena was the Prototype there) accepted me but the 9-11 tragedy stopped the move in 2001. Had a match with Yuji Nagata and another with Dragon Gate. Did a Chikara event with Generico, Fire Ant, Eddie Kingston and others. Teddy Hart moonsaulted on my head. Almost had a match with AJ Styles. My FCW tryout was with AJ Lee and Adam Rose. I got to do a promo in front of the Legendary Dusty Rhodes. I had a smackdown tryout where I helped a run in with Matt Hardy. It was a short run but my regrets are not getting to meet and learn from all of the wrestlers from that time.
I was a worker for 10 years (weekender) but never near the exhausting, back breaking point of wrestling on the road constantly. Search "Akua Neckbreaker".
Due to this, I have absolutely no injuries or addictions. I've gone through tables, took huge moves (ex. hit a top rope DDT, did I mention Teddy Hart moonsaulted on my head, etc)
Much respect to the Pros who sacrifice their body to the Sport.

I could see him teaming up with The Hurt Business or a Manager for someone. He still can talk.
As this channel continues to grow, I don’t think it’s out of the question to see him on a PLE pre show panel, or behind the scenes somewhere. There’s no way WWE aren’t watching these since the videos directly discuss backstage ‘secrets’.
Maven has presented himself so well with this channel, so although I wouldn’t count my chickens, it’s not impossible that we’d see him turn up one day.

What about his brother's tragic death in reverting to a gimmick he never wanted to do? Or finally, his career ending injury via a silly botch?
Bret's always been a serious guy with little to no filter, I get he comes across as moody. But I am sick and tired of hearing these horrific takes when most in the business haven't been dragged through half of what he was, let alone (and I am trying to be polite) jabronis in comment sections.
Plus, he doesn't feel the need to wrestle in "arenas" of 20 people getting hit with lightbulbs and making $5, a beer, and a hot dog. That's reassuring.

Maven, I’m 42 years old and remember watching you during your WWE run. I actually thought your theme song was great and always liked you - you seemed like an everyman that people could connect with. I truly respect you for showing us all how human you are and taking responsibility and owning up for the past. I also lost my mother to cancer in 2019… I can’t imagine how much harder it is to lose her that young. I felt that when you spoke about your Mom, Maven. I lost my Mother, suddenly, in the Summer of 2005, when I was 21 and it was the hardest thing to get through, as I was a certified "Momma's Boy." So awesome that you got to give back with that trip and her being able to see you reach your dreams.

Even before his UA-cam days, I used to say he would have flourished if he wrestled in WWE later around the mid 2010s. Something about his style could have worked well with todays talent.
I very vividly remember him working with legends like Undertaker and Triple H.
I remember him facing Hunter on Sunday Night Heat. I was like 10 and cheered him on hoping he'd defeat Triple H. As a kid I hated Triple H. He was like the ultimate final boss heel to watch. Realistically Maven was never gonna be booked go win. But he had this kid believing in him and the match was memorable to me.

I remember being a kid watching you on TE, seeing the segments where your mom was in hospital, etc. Not many moms get to see their sons achieve what you got to, and I'm sure she's beaming up there watching you do what you love, brother.

I got hurt in the military and i came back home to Tampa back in 2008 when the pill mills were huge in the area and got into the pain killers. Biggest regret of my life getting into those things but only when I lost everything it revealed the things that matter most to me. Glad you're, better i never forget how bad things got, keeps me thankful for everyday that I'm sober.

Every time you talk about your beautiful Momma, I tear up. I’m about your age, and my Mom and Grandma are all I’ve ever been able to truly count on. My Grandma died in 2020, and my Mom nearly died before the miracle of a liver transplant. I suspect I’ll have to go on without her someday, and I don’t know if I’ll be able. You and your Mom looked so very bonded and close. I’m terribly sorry you lost her far too young. 💔

Very sorry to hear about your regret with your mother. I speak for myself but I believe this may apply to you as well, you can never repay a mother's love and no decent mother would ever ask for that. Anything that you did for her no matter how small means the world to them because it comes from the heart. Take solace in that brother.

Thank you very much for your channel, 2001-2004 was not only the span of your career, but also the years that I spent religiously watching wrestling. I saw you eliminate Undertaker! I really appreciate you speaking to the public so honestly and sharing your experience in WWE. Don't ever stop, Maven! I love hearing about the backstage stuff, the stuff you don't see while watching events.

You had a heck of a run man, would have been nice if it was longer or maybe a bit different in your eyes but you still got to be a wrestler for WWE! Many of us dreamt of that but left it as just a dream!
The courage it takes to admit to these things, especially #1, is out of this world. It’s safe to say that you were meant for the wrestling business to have your experiences and then do THIS afterwards. What you’re doing is so valuable not just for entertainment purposes but for kids who have dreams of one day being in front of the live camera, like my daughter. This type of content is so needed. Thank you for being so open and honest every time you drop a video.
Maven, your #1 resonates. Being young and making mistakes can be unfortunate. Appreciate your honesty and ability to bounce back. I also find that although your videos are about wrestling, they can also be about life and growing as a person. Kudos for still teaching, even if it's not your intent.

I’m someone who dreams of being a wrestler one day but doesn’t “fit the picture”.. and wrestling schools near me pretty much seek the “big guys” and all that.
