Even though its small, can the Web Presenter's screen be used to monitor and select/switch cameras when you combine this device with a BMD's Atem Mini Pro (switcher)? - I ask because having a big HDMI monitor is not really the best "mobile" option in how I intend to travel and stream 2. Have you tried using mobile networks/simcards with this device? - For those that won't have access to cabled-internet 3. Are there any battery packs that could run this device? Again, thank you so much for the video. And I'm guessing from my questions you can probably tell that I was to be streaming from very remote locations, from a backpack. With no electricty and stuff.

(1080) I’m asking that because I see the 1080 quality just comes on the professional plan ($49 monthly). And last question: is it worth to do the change? (Quality vs money) thank you so much!!!
Honestly I think we still use the standard option on Restream. And 720p is probably fine for most people. There might be a significant difference between that and the 1080p package, but I haven’t tested it to see. Whether it’s worth it to switch depends a lot on what you’re coming from. If you’re happy with BoxC then maybe not. But if you’re looking for a change and want to save some money, it might be worthwhile. Unless saving $$ on monthly subscriptions is really important to you, I don’t think it’ll matter much either way
I know this is an older video… but with services beginning the same time every week, is there any way to auto click the “on air” button at the same time each week? Just wondering.
Our church purchased a Black Magic Presenter HD to stream directly to our channel on UA-cam. Our expectation was that we would be able to stream directly by pressing the On-air button. But unfortunately, we always have to plan in advance on UA-cam studio (create, go live, schedule stream, later, schedule stream, etc.) which is a comprehensive way of working. Because there are 2 church services taking place right after each other, there is not much time to do this. It's already too difficult for a lot of the team. Our previous streaming device did work that way. Nowhere can I find how this can be done with the Webpresenter HD. Do you have a solution that a simple push of the on-air button wil start the stream?
Yeah I’m not sure if there’s a way to do it directly from the WPHD.. but I’ve never tried to figure that out myself. We sent the encoder to to restream.io and from there restream will send it to FB and YT. We don’t need to configure anything in FB/YT before going live. The only thing we’ll do is change the description/title in restream. So when we go live on the WPHD, it automatically sends it to Fb/YT

On the same support page, I don’t think BMD has a different download for Mac vs Windows. So it should be the same.. whatever is the most recent update to the web presenter line is what you want!
I suppose you could by using some of the Aux Outs from the ATEM TV Studio. Though, sending the stream to Restream.io would accomplish the same thing and probably be a better workflow (and cheaper too).
Is anybody facing problems with cache memory oh BMWP HD? There are few posts on BM Forum for similar problem from few users but i see there are no problems for other users. Can you do a video help us find out, what we doing wrong? I try several cameras with BM HDMI to SDI 3G converter. I can see the camera normaly, with sound. But the cache of BMWP is goinf after 1 min to 100% and stay there, no matter the internet speed. Any idea?
Hmm interesting. I haven’t run into this issue myself. We’ve been running ours on a weekly basis since June 2021 with no issues. I’ll look into though and see if I find anything out.
@@ZachBrownMedia correct. When connected to the router with ethernet everything is perfect, no cache issues. When i perform speed test with my mobile the speeds lookig great for 1080p30f streaming. Btw i try also 720p with lowest setting on BMWP. The problem is the connection with mobile. Do i have to use Type-C to Type-C thunderbold maybe? Otherwise maybe there is an issue with IP addresses with my ISP? I am sure there is not problem with BMWP as hardwere. I am just trying to share my proble with you, and also other users from the commeys. Maybe someone has an experience.
@@ZachBrownMedia i contact my ISP and they change my mobile connection to a vpn-internet. Also i will replace my type-c camble connecting WP with my mobile with a thunderbolt. I get back with results in a couple of days
Any idea on how to daisy chain multiple web presenters for the multi-location stream? Like Facebook, UA-cam, and other RTMP channels without using restream?

If you’re using the Atem mini pro.. then I would just stream from that instead of using a dedicated encoder. It already has one built in!

One through hdmi and one through SDI? Yes.
I see your using a BnC for video input, is that bnc cable plugged into another device that then gets plugged into a video switcher ?

Yeah! What switcher are you running? You’ll want to run the audio into the switcher and then send it over to the WP with the video feed

For our live streaming for church, we use Blackmagic Design ATEM Television Studio for switcher
Yeah run the audio into the XLRs on the Atem 👍🏼 either via an Audio interface or Dante adapter etc
Then both audio and video will be transferred into WP for live streaming right!?

Just do an SDI run out of the "SDI Loop Out" on the back of the WP into the SDI In on the next WP 👍🏼
