As a self taught artist, tracing a pic to get it over to my actual workspace saves me SO much time. I dont think tracing is a bad thing, it helps you learn to make the same movements over and over again, which then can translate into better concept sketches.
I love how funny you are and the energy to give off. I also love how funny it is to have a life sized painting of yourself but also how it actually has a meaning behind it.
Just discovered you! (My 16 yr old apparently watches sometimes so he is the reason! Thank you Jack!) Anyhoo-you make me laugh while you simultaneously inspire. Besides being super talented, you are so super down to earth and real. So refreshing in a world of people trying to outdo each other on social media. I also watched your sketchbook tour and felt relief that someone else has random sizes, shapes, etc. PLUS random crap mixed in with awesome stuff in a bunch of styles. My sketchbooks have grocery lists, random doodles, mark making from my kids (ahem, in the shape of poop or body parts…kids! Stay out of mommy’s sketchbooks!!!…no honestly, i love seeing those little pics now). Don’t ever change-you are the real deal and so talented. Keep making videos. Thank you for what you do!!!

Wow... I am both shocked and impressed. I did not know it was possible for someone to paint with this level of detail. You chose the hardest picture ever - the background with your own paintings to recreate, full body including hands and feet, your dog + stuffed animals... just wow. Plus, you can edit and play the guitar!!! I am sure you have worked really hard to get to this point, but I need to believe you have natural talent for my sanity. I feel like it would be the best gift ever if you painted an engagement or wedding photo.
