Look forward to future videos. I want to try and do some filming next year. All I got this year was walking up to my buck. So much goes into creating a great video
No there wasn’t much worry of Griz. They go through that area but it is seldom. They’re most often farther north from where I was. To prevent: always keep an eye out and maintain as much distance as possibly. Also keep a clean camp. To protect: 7mm rem mag, and a 45acp.
@@UA-camUA-camUA-camUA-camY I don’t know man. 70 lbs is way too much gear. I’ve done 6-7 day hikes in with a little over 40lbs of gear. If the conditions are so rough where you need 70 lbs of gear, you probably shouldn’t be going alone. I will add, dudes an absolute stud for getting it done though…
This is about how heavy my pack is as well... relatively new to pack pack hunting but slowly dialing in my packing list... last year had to take my buck out and then come back and get my gear luckily it was only a little over 6 miles round trip.
Thank you! It’s my old eberlestock blue widow! It’s a 2017 and old by todays standards but still has a lot of life left in it. It’s been a great pack! Thanks for watching!
@@mtnmadehunting That's a great do-it-all mountain rifle cartridge. best of luck elk hunting this year. I finally got a cow tag and filled it the first day of season in the Rattlesnake mtns with a 7mm STW. only got 9 more years before i get a bull tag for Casper mtn or 14 more for a tag for the shirleys. but who's counting? lol.
Logo looks good! Last time I hit this country I dislocated my shoulder, relocated it and had to hike out. Wife wasn’t happy but I’m dying to get back!
Thank you sir! Dang, that makes for a rough trip. Good job stayin tough 👊🏼
Congrats! 👊🏻. My twin boys and I stopped by your tent and said hi. Good buck 👍🏻

Thanks hot stuff!
Great video. What tent was that. It looked like the perfect set up.
It was the Luxe octopeak ultralight. And the luxe wild Wild West stove. They’re super light and they work great! Thanks for watching!
Soon as I saw that tent I hit the comment section. Thanks. Going to google it, I assume you can use a trekking pole for the center?
Awesome video, Sir!
Thank you!
Nice work. Great country. I hope to see you on thr mountain again.
Right back atcha Morgan! I always meet the best people on the mountain!

Love your videos!
Thank you Kevin! Really appreciate it!
They are like video's should be down to earth without all the commercialization.
I know where you are 😉
Nice country up there. Some real good bucks on the backside there
Awesome country for sure! Thank you for watching 🤙🏻
Any worry of grizzly’s in camp out there? If so how do you prevent/ protect yourself?

70lb pack!? On the way in??? That’s a heavy load man…
It’s a little on the heavier side. Being in there for a full week requires a lot of gear. Thanks for watching!
@@mtnmadehunting oh I’m sure.

I’m sure camera gear batteries/chargers start adding weight fast.

Who built that dang trail??
Which trail are you talking about Tommy?
@@mtnmadehunting looked like you were walking one on the way in??
@@tommyhunter1817 I was bush wackin on the way in. I found a better trail on the way out though.
@@mtnmadehunting That’s the way it should be, too. Great video and nice buck!

Excellent video. There’s more to a deer hunt than just the deer…other wildlife, surroundings, weather. You captured it well.
Thank you!!
nice camp, man!
Great video! Thanks for sharing 👍🏻 💪🏻
Thanks for watching!
Those tenderloins are always the best trophy!!!
Yes sir! Red meat gold!!
I mean those noises you made while eating those loins made me mmmmm !
Oh baby!
Awesome video man! Looks like an amazing time chasing mule deer out in the back country! What pack is that you're running if you don't mind me asking?

Tell me about the tent in the stove like or dislike
