Truely enjoyed watching this awesome video. Hunted out of Wells in the Jarbridge for mulies back in 1967 after coming home from Vietnam. I was young and tough we hunted hard and covered similar terrain. Saw more elk than deer. Didn’t have elk tags. We shot a couple of nice mature bucks. It was what I needed after my tours as Grunt Marine. Thank you so much for sharing a team effort. Congratulations!
Thank you for the thoughtful response Robert. When making these videos I had no idea they would resonate so well with viewers like you, but it’s been rewarding to receive such nice feedback. Be well and thank you for your service.
Love it. Only been hunting 3 years and still waiting for my 1st buck. Chances are, I will cry just like that. Just subbed. Congrats. "If there's lead in the air, there's a prayer!"
This was an absolutely amazing video. BTW if you ever have to go through Elko again try out The Star we stop there before all of our hunts in the area.
Holy! Man, that is some intense stuff. Kinda got a 2 for 1 special there haha. Super dry year in NV, it already looked like October in archery season. Glad to see ya'll get it done!
Nice Bucks! one thing I would have done when packing those out is tied something Orange to those Antlers, Very dangerous walking with them up that high.
Well done men that was a great video I honestly appreciate the rawness off it all it’s hard for me to relate to guys that are trying to PC their hunting channel but I understand it. Two great bucks down with your buddy doesn’t get much better you gotta a sub can’t wait to eat more content
KC 135 Much appreciated 🙏🏻. My goal was to simply create as real-life a documentation of the hunt as possible. I think there needs to be more of that, plus it made it a lot easier to edit!
Todd Harney I agree, you did it man I felt watching it was like how it is when I’m out hunting with my buddies plus good to see another other California guys out there getting it done
I love this video had a very similar experience on my hunt up to the right of jackpot. 1 a bunch of hiking 2 not to many deer 3 may have been to aggressive while putting a stock on a nice buck and missed the shot... also missed another shot at a great big buck that popped up at about 50 yards out of nowhere and things went really fast. Then we we got our buck. we hiked out in the dark and got lost and almost had to set up a camp before randomly rolling up on camp after hiking about 10 miles with a massive 3 by 4 very old buck similar looking to yours. Great video man love it.
775 Boys Man sounds like your hunt had all the makings for a memorable one. Miserable while it’s happening, then once it’s over you wouldn’t have changed a thing.
This is what “hunting” is, hiking, seeing fucking nothing, hiking and boom it all happens so fast. Awesome video. Reminds me of me and my buddies in Idaho every year. Same type of food and everything.
All of the meat was de-boned, but still it’s very heavy and you just gotta grind it out. Or make multiple trips but that’s more painful than one super heavy one.
Great job guys !! This video is freaking awesome ! Great big huge. Bucks. Guys. I can say I enjoyed the whole video ! Athletes butt 👌🐒😂. ! You guys from cali ? Im from cali too. Hey. Next time you guys ride coming back home. And listing to radio put on chalino sanchez 🎶 great music keep on. Hunting guys can't wait for next video
Oh, well you look this other guy, oops, hope your hunt went well👍🦌 & thanks for the reply,, I was just teasing ya bout the ice chest,, when he said the pastries were all soggy-- I have to laugh😂 been many yrs ago since I was deer hunting when I was married 1rst husband-- I was in my early 20's I'm 64 now,, it was always a so fun getting ready & packin- up to go, and finding our spot this was in calif,-- D3& D5 zones-- I remember them well🦌🦌👍🤗 happy hunting
Dude I'm so glad you decided to make a channel! I messaged you on Instagram a few weeks ago. This is account is our channel it has grown lots over the years and now we make a little change in the side! If you have questions or need advice feel free to reach out! Your channel has so much potential!
Big Heads Big Dreams Thanks a bunch for the message and recommendation to try UA-cam! It’s been fun so far and I’m really looking forward to making another hunt video based on the response to this one. Appreciate the offer for advice too 👍🏻
Sean Johnson No more kuiu for me! Been a great improvement using whatever gear I want this season. Correct, no shoulder mounts for these bucks, but they’ll make nice euros. Have numerous bigger on the walls already.
Congrats guys, great bucks! Love the emotion. One question though, what happened at KUIU? I wondered why I haven't seen you there. Just subscribed and I'm looking forward to more videos! Good stuff.
So you guys decapitate the buck and cut up the rest of the body on site? I was under the impression you load the buck in the back of the truck and take it to butcher for its meat. I'm pro 2A but new to hunting been wanting to try deer for the longest.
That far from the in steep country truck it’s impossible to get the animals out whole. We take all of the meat off the carcass, keeping it exceptionally clean. The meat is kept in the largest possible pieces with the bones removed, same as a butcher would do to a whole deer. Then we place the meat into game bags for the pack out. We process game at home rather than using a butcher.
That was awesome! Stu’s raw emotion when he got to his buck was priceless, love it! Great vid Todd!
Thank you Garald!
That's what its all about right there.

Love it. Only been hunting 3 years and still waiting for my 1st buck. Chances are, I will cry just like that. Just subbed. Congrats. "If there's lead in the air, there's a prayer!"

Hey man I’m new to hunting any advice on how I can get started I’m a resident of Nevada
Epic video dude!! you definitely just gained another subscriber!
Great stuff guys and really nice Bucks!!
My questions is how do u carry a whole buck by ur self?.
All of the meat was de-boned, but still it’s very heavy and you just gotta grind it out. Or make multiple trips but that’s more painful than one super heavy one.
Great vid- keep them coming!
What SG frames and bags you and Ben rolling with?
J N Thank you. On this hunt we both had X-Curve frames and 40/56 bags. My dad and brother had X-Curves and 5900 bags.
This where an ebike would come in handy
What kind of tent is that
Ben Newsom Kodiak Canvas 11x14. They’re great. Real quick and easy to set up, even for 1 guy.
