Dig your style man, actual fun video to watch without being too serious and crazy on the commercialization of hunting. Just straight good stuff! Well deserved
I have never done anything remotely close to this, but I'd give anything to try. Thank you for sharing, that little giggle from that baby melted my heart!!! You're a lucky man!!
I am so glad this video popped up in my feed. I really appreciate your style of hunting and to pull away from that many bucks takes some serious dedication.
I’ve recently found your videos and really enjoyed them. You have a great attitude and super positive approach, refreshing. Terrific hunt in some beautiful country. Thanks for the content.
Great video. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this. That country also looked very familiar due to several years of hunting Idaho throughout the years. I hope to return soon. Nice Buck!!
Great video you had me laughing several times I especially liked the public service announcement. Congrats on a great buck loved hearing the bullet impact too.
This is one of the better videos I've watched, just because of the freekin gross tuna meal. You know how many times I've gone backpacking or hunting and have eaten crappy gross food? Way more than I want to ever let on. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
Beautiful buck man! Lots of character! Congrats! Great video too. Good job moving to a different area if you weren't finding the buck you were looking for. Thanks for sharing!
Enjoyed your video and the beautiful country you showed. Haven’t got to do a hunt like you experienced before but hope to do so. The outdoor adventure is a awesome experience, the camping , cooking out, then afterwards go home to what matters most 😊👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

@@darinmorino8943 Congratulations on the draw. Archery or rifle? Game numbers and quality have looked good in that area this summer, the couple of times I’ve been out there. My only regret on this hunt is that I sure would have liked to been hunting it through October to see what came through with the weather. If you have a good amount of time to hunt and not feel rushed, you should have a great time. Enjoy and best of luck!

Hey man great hunt and great video and of course great buck. Really enjoyed your sense of humor and how you let the hunt happen instead of constantly second guessing yourself. If you could maybe do a video on your rifle and scope setup. It looked really nice the little you showed it. Also your little ones were adorable at the end there. Perfect video id say. Take care man
That means a lot, especially coming from a guy named Critical Bo! I've been on enough deer hunts to know that it's only a matter of time if I just keep my effort up. No reason to second guess or get worried during a hunt. You're not the first to ask about the rifle setup, good idea. I'll see if I can get something thrown together.
I saw your Kodiak Tent and thought “oh hell yeah he’s got my tent” and then you pack in and pullout what looked like a tarptent and I thought “holy shit he has my other tent”. Cheers tent brother on a solid buck. Those days on the mountain by yourself are some of my favorites of the year.
Really cool video. Especially thought it was awesome to hear your shot hit the buck. Good work. I agree with above comments on appreciating the more relaxed style.
Huge congratulations on an amazing hunt and adventure. To top it all off you took an incredible buck! I watched every second of this video and loved them all. Your sense of humor is very entertaining and similar to my own. After the first minute, I knew I was going to have to subscribe. Well done and congratulations again! Bryce
Awesome. Thanks for sharing. We need more hunters willing to do what you did and ask themselves before shooting a mule deer buck--“Do I really want to shoot this thing? Is it something I’d really be happy with walking up to it?” It’s not about inches, but holding out for a mature animal that you are happy with is so much better for the herd than only shooting to shoot one. Well done!!!
Thank you. I've been fortunate to bring home some quality bucks over the years, so it gets easier each season to let deer walk in search of what I'm really looking for. To each their own though. I'll pause my hunt to help someone connect on a smaller deer if it will make them happy.
Great flim, very entertaining, really enjoyed it sir. Congrats on a great buck, love the details in the flim and adding a little comedy to the mix, best of luck on your future hunts.
Glad came across this, love the quality of the video & vibes & amazing mule deer! Haven’t been hunting since I was 12, now 28. This makes me so badly wanna get back out there & do what you do.
Get after it!! I’m 28, just started hunting this year after quitting since I was 12. Started out with spring Turkey season (I’m in FL) and I was hooked!!! Didn’t shoot any, public land in FL is tough but I saw a few. Can’t wait for deer season!!!
loved the video i'm heading out to idaho with a wheeler in 2 weeks, any pointers like what should I be looking for in a area that "should" hold a buck and any stratagies to how far to wheeler i should be away from a area i consider a possible good glassing spot. or can I basically drive the wheeler as close as I can to my glassing spot. first time with a wheeler and rifle, all the other year its been back pack bow and elk for a week.
Don’t spend too much time on the wheeler. Use your legs and eyes more. If you’re glassing from a spot you can drive to, be looking at country far away that can’t be driven to. All depends on what kind of a buck you’re looking for though. Better odds for bigger deer further from the roads of course.
So many of our current hunting videos are commercial in nature, Boy Bands seeking yucks and background rock nroll! Nice to see your video….back to the basics! Loved it all!! Great Buck Bro!!
I love your video great content it is my first year hunting and I living in southern Idaho do you have any recommendations on where I can go to get a buck and any tips
How far was he? What were you using for rifle and caliber/ bullet etc? You should get a gun boot for when you backpack protect the rifle. Your trailer you haul your quad with is light enough if you are not truly mudding or going through really bad terrain to put on the back of your quad as a quad trailer. Good show love the family time at the end.
Thanks. I shoot a 300 Sherman Short. Wildcat cartridge. Like a 300 WSM but more efficient and designed for heavy bullets. Shooting a 208 grain Hornady ELDM.

Were you inside at Flying J, or at the pump at a different station with a motorcycle in the back heading to your archery elk hunt? Those are the two gas station convos I recall. Thanks for watching.
Great video! Quick question, what are the bags you have on the back of your quad and how do you like them? I have tried two different set and the zippers are trash!!! Thank you!
The zippers are trash on this one too. And the sun has rotted through the material so it’s constantly degrading. Water leaks in with ease. Plus a couple of the buckles have broken. Other than that it’s great!
