    I find it hard to understand why no one wanted him. He's such a handsome and gentle fella. He's big, but big usually means gentle. He's lovely! Well done for giving him the life and family he needs.

    I would love to adopt a kitty no one wanted, but I already have a kitty that has some special needs. Nala, was rescued at about 1 1/2 years old. She is a sweetie, but terribly afraid of people. She has developed affection for us, but is terrified of most people. She also hates other animals. She is such an Angel that we’ll do anything to make her happy. Your dog will slowly learn to trust you. Our cat hid under the counters for over a week. They just need to feel safe and lived. Just let it develop, it’s not something you can rush. He certainly likes affection. I’m so happy more people are giving these “unadoptable” a chance!

    Your dog resembles so much of my romanian"s adopted dog, same color, same size, same mask and white leg too ! Maybe they are from the same family... The only difference is that my dog was not so afraid as your dog, but maybe because she was in a shelter for many months where humans has give her more trust in human.
    Thank you from France to have adopted this beautifull dog

      Hi Carrie,
      If you have time, would you consider subscribing to Greek rescue Jutta Shelter and Zante rescue in Greece?
      Jutta is trying to reach 10,000 subscribers ,(nearly 6 400 now), to try to earn some yt money. You need only subscribe and watch even one video a week. It would really help them.
      Iannis has rescued for 22 years and still works full time as a headmaster. to pay for the rescues. If you holiday in Greece, he has a volunteer's bedroom. So you can stay there, while volunteering, if room is free.

    I am so grateful that Romania’s street dogs are finally getting rescued and adopted. I was there in 2001 and the sight of all those stray dogs broke my heart, especially when I heard that the dogs were going to be exterminated. You have a beautiful new dog to love and care fore. Best wishes to you. From Alabama, USA.

    Here in Arizona they euthanize thousands of dogs who are killed only because they are fearful. They are not aggressive. I’ve fostered a couple and fail fostered another. They make wonderful and loving pets. Thank you for loving this boy. How wonderful for him to finally feel safe and loved.

      I remember years ago, 1 of my 2 dogs died, and I was so sad when I went home. Then when I walked in the door, my other dog was so happy to see me, jumping up and down. That dog didn't know what happened to the first dog, but life still goes on for the rest of us.

      Romanian dogs are desperately needing homes. I also support Jutta rescue and Zante rescue in Greece.
      If anyone can just subscribe to them on yt, and watch one video a week, it will help them get advertisers and raise desperately needed yt money. Costs nothing to subscribers.

    Putting a dog in a crate is cruel. How would you like to be locked in a cage?

    • @lisatheresa5572
      @lisatheresa5572  3 роки тому +3

      It’s not cruel if you train it, dogs which are crate trained see it as their bed and love being inside but that being said, I don’t crate Stormy. It seems like you didn’t watch the video fully - this is a transport box which is required for a dog which is afraid and could panic in a car being as they have never been in one.

    • @ooffiihardwick3676
      @ooffiihardwick3676 3 роки тому +3

      It is only cruel if it is used for punishment. Crate training is a great way to provide a safe space for anxious doggos as they know no humans are going to disturb them there. It is not about shutting them in, it is about giving them the option to have their own space when they need it. And as Lisa says it is very useful for dogs who have never been in a car before as again it provides a safe space in an alien environment.
