    I've seen you getting your morning sunlight exposure a few times with your eyes closed. According to Huberman you're supposed to get as much light in your eyes as possible to set your circadian rhytm. It doesn't work through skin. Just a friendly tip, it worked wonders for me.

    Your penultimate step is non-existent on those jumps man.
    Would love to see you try Ben Patrick's jumping training. He specifically trains others and himself to jump with 4 different plants.
    He has a fantastic video called "The jump video I wish I had growing up". Perhaps take a look at it :]

    Love watching all the videos. I suggest starting further back, running faster, and jumping further away from the rim. That way you’re not straight under the rim when jumping. Almost like you’re on a fast break. Also I suggest watching those professional dunkers for tips on jumping higher cause they helped me a lot

    Love the content Lucas. Quick question, even though you gained some fat on the bulk, do you feel that the muscle you gained made it less noticeable, maybe cancelled it out in a sense?

    Good for you with still having a sprint mentality. I used to be a sprint junkie for decades but have lost interest in my early 40's.
    I've actually found it easier to stay lean with 15-20K steps of walking daily. I'll microdose shorter walks over the whole day. I'll also do sled pushes 3x per week after lifting and stairs 2x per week on non lifting days. But it's crazy to me that my main "cardio" is now walking. 😂

    Love these vlog style videos! Two suggestions I'd love for you to try: Butter/Keto/Bulletproof coffee, especially on those early morning sleep deprived days. I add a half scoop whey to mine before blending too. Just make sure it's not way too hot and cooks the whey.
    Second would be carb backloading, which is basically fasting/keto the first half of the day, a strenuous resistance training and glycogen depleting workout around 5 PM or so, then high glycemic carbs and protein with limited fat for the evening until sleep. Its kind of similar to what you did and folks have had amazing results getting leaner while building muscle. I got a few compliments and one steroid accusation lol. Btw both two suggestions combine together beautifully too. Check it out!

    Try and practice that run up a little lucas. And experiment with one and two foot jumps while trying to touch rim. The run up is half the struggle when trying to touch rim and eventually dunk. Sometimes it's also called "penultimate step" but the whole run up is important too. Just a tip

  • @joet4354
    @joet4354 17 днів тому

    I would try and add some speed into your run up with your jumping as right now you’re not really getting any momentum from your run up at all, it’s almost like you’re doing a standing jump. Keep it up though mate would be great to see you progress to jamming it!

    your journey must be tough but we're on two different routes I am like 10 percent by this point but I need to get stronger so that I benefit from being lean and hyper vascular and also and extra layer of difficulty is trying not to harm my growth + get my pull (max 7 very correct pullups on a good day ) to my push ( 5 one arm pushups with ease with my right arm ) + the fact that i can't even do a single one arm pushup with my left arm + insecurities about my physique and yatta yatta yatta ( sorry about all the yapping but i wanted to be honest and transparent just like you are in every video and open about everything and i look up to you :))

    I think the thing that might be of benefit is to do water fasting, where all you consume is water, which forces your body to go into ketosis which makes your body consume your own fat.

    I really love the content you make I honestly think you have one of the greatest youtube channels. But I think your genetics and body type is not made for going even close to 10 percent body fat. You look super healthy now. I think you will look and feel only worse if you lose weight rapidly from this point and it can make permanent hormonal damages too so be very careful. People going close to 10 percent bf are either at least partly ectomorfic or on roids or most likely both at the same time.

      To the people asking for source, just search on UA-cam. You'll find countless videos on the topic. In the last Ramadan,
      I fasted this way and gained 3kg of muscle and also lost a bit of fat from my chest area in just one month. My triceps noticeably grew bigger. Yes, you'd have to follow a certain diet habit. Otherwise, you'll just lose weight and not gain muscle.
