I Put CASTOR OIL on Just One Side of My Face - Every Day for a Week

- I put a constant layer of castor oil over one side of my face and body for 7 days. Did castor oil improve my skin complexion?, improve the appearance of moles?, reduce wrinkles and lines? Grow back hair? Did I experience any side effects of castor oil? What interesting things did I also learn about castor oil?
Your "experiments" are too short to ascertain any effectiveness.
this x1000. its the little things u do over long periods of time that make the ultimate difference.
No ones got time to experiment for a year
He’s got to push out content some how.
this is essentially a lotion trial
a week is fine, hell, carmex of all things can cure cracked knuckle skin in 3 days
@@Monkchelle_Kongbama yeah that's a good point. The trouble with this guys experiments is that his skin is already in excellent condition
as a 49M, using castor oil nightly for a year, the results have been nothing short of miraculous. in particular, eyelashes and brows are much fuller, eye bags are gone. of particular interest- dry eyes are gone (castor oil is n ingredient in many eye drops). from what i’ve read, it helps open tear ducts and as a result, i can wear contacts two hours longer than i used to. i experienced pretty noticeable eye boogers when i woke up for about a month and then they stopped.
keep in mind that since it takes your body two months to produce new skin, the real substantive changes from using it will take some time, but ill tell you- the compliments just started rolling in. i’ve been asked if i botoxed on more than one occasion. it’s cheap, effective, and will simply be part of my regular skin care routine for the remainder of my days.
pro tip: if you use it after the shower and then do a five minute red light therapy session, it absorbs into your skin much quicker.
It's definitely made the skin around my eyes so much better. I wish I'd started using it when I was younger. I do feel it needs to be tested for longer than one week.
100% right awesome news!
What did your skincare look like before using castor oil and what else do you use alongside castor oil?
@@lukastemberger animal based diet is the majority of my skin care, no exaggeration. I was mostly using just organic cold pressed coconut oil, but now I use a tallow & honey moisturizer from Van Man during the day (amazing and better than any $300 Chanel cream) plus the occasional home made salt scrub to exfoliate my skin. I rarely wash my face with soap. About once a week I use an organic cotton round with witch hazel to clean the pores. Zero zits ever.
Coconut oil is my body moisturizer now (best used immediately out for the shower). Bonus: it’s a natural spf 10.
@@thorzyan oh wow, is that some middle American stuff? :) It sounds very random and not at all what knowledge based recommendations are...
I'm vegan, 41 and people usually think I'm 30. But in the last 5ish years I've also been using good skincare products and real sunscreen, so that helps.
My aunt did a similar experiment by putting castor oil on sunspots on one of her hands and a lightening cream marketed for sunspots on the other for a few months. The castor oil side had significantly improved sunspots more than the cream.
Good! A few months is a good test!
@@reecepeace5839 I’ve been using castor oil on the backs of my hands as well! When I saw what it was doing for the sun spots on my face, I started using it on the back of my hands and on my chest. Some of my sunspots have completely faded and all of them are very much lightened. I have been using the castor oil for a little over two months. When I saw how well it worked on my face and my hands, I also started using it on two scars on each of my knees. One of them is always itchy and drives me crazy and the other one is just super visible. The one never itches anymore and you actually can’t even see it and the other has lightened considerably. I am honestly astounded at all the benefits of using castor oil.
Same happened for me, a dark spot on my cheek faded almost completely away, but it took more like a couple of months before I suddenly noticed it.
60+ yr old female. I read that caster oil might help my post surgical scar on my knee. I began applying it and the pain actually disappeared. I wasn't expecting that but I kept using it and the pain never came back. It has only been a year and I can see significant fading in the scar. I tore a ligament in my shoulder and couldn't lift my arm above my head so, I tried using the oil there. I no longer have as much pain and I have more rotation. I began using the oil on my face and after a year, I look more youthful. I also had redness around my nose for the first few weeks and some dryness. I recommended it to a friend who has severe arthritis in her hands and there has been an improvement in her pain level and movement. The stuff is amazing!
The dryness or redness could be a detox effect.
Thanks tremendously for your comment 👍. Please, what kind of Castor oil did you use? Because I have the "Jamaican black castor oil" And I wonder if it has got the same effect. Thanks again 😊
i used it on my knee and stopped to see when or if it came back. it took moths so i will start again
I bought some years ago, for my hair. Hadn't used it and started using it on my face, and I have noticed my skin has gotten dry and tight. So I cut back to every other night. Also used it on my shoulders and achy spots, and it's helped considerably. ALSO....I have a bad varicose vein below my knee on the back and it's gotten worse and started bulging and going down my leg. It's helped minimize that considerably. Not bad for a 3.50 bottle at Walmart, sold as a laxative :)
Hi. I apply castor oil to my face pretty much everyday as my morning routine and before bed. I’ve read that by applying castor oil on ur face as the base it will absorbs your face moisturizer cream. You are not suppose to drench your face with castor oil lol.. it’s a small layer that is needed to applied to your face. I lightly tap around the sentive part of my face around the eyes and gently massage using an up and outer strokes never down. This is a really good beauty treatment I follow. It works for me cannot live without it. I am not allergic to it and if anyone isn’t sure test on before use. I also apply to my finger tips and massage onto my scalp so it doesn’t get my hair to greasy. I especially apply on areas I’ve seen that is thinning you can actually feel new growth of hair, it’s awesome 👏😃I hope it works for everyone 👍🏻😃 Have a blessing day everyone! ❤

@@Matt-lq7gd LOL …exactly. I don’t write comments much but this was very funny. 🤣🤣
I find the oil far too thick, and thankfully I read just dab some water at the same time, and hey presto - glides on beautifully, a game changer :)
unlike pharmaceuticals, natural remedies like this really need some time to do their work. A week is not enough. For stuff like this I think a month minimum is needed.
Exactly. I have been doing my castor oil experiment for 6 weeks and it's way too soon yet to compare before and after photos.
Most products need around 6 months to see real results
3 months
That’s right. Depending on the product it needs 3-18 months.
We can definitely all agree that it's more than a week LOL
Unfortunately, doing anything for your skin for just 1 week is like nothing! The skin renews itself every 28 days, so you need AT LEAST 1 month to see a difference. And the best thing is to do a skin treatment for 3 months, especially for the stretch marks. Also, you should massage the oil into the skin for a few seconds/minutes, not just slap it on. That's when you see the greatest effects. Of any treatment. Maybe you could try this again using these guidelines? I'm pretty sure you will be astonished at the results!
Yes!! ☝🏻
If your older it renews itself around 50 days
hi 60 year old black woman here...this new obsession with this oil is so funny to me..castor oil has been a staple in black households FOREVER...most of us only use castor oil or shea butter....tretinoin and sunscreen is basically a youtube thing and most everyday black people dont use these products..FYI we use castor oil at night and shea butter as a daytime moisturizer
Coconut oil is the deal
I use tretinon. I've been using it for years for acne. I do use Shea Butter on body. I wouldn't put castle oil on my face during the day. That's weird to me.
Crap you are racist
But dark skinned people are naturally gorgeous, we have to work at it. 🙂
I know plenty of black people who don't use castor oil..Shea cream sure

I love using castor oil and it has been used for many, many years. My grandmother used to give it to my mother by mouth every day 70 years ago. The recent internet craze is not a 'new' trend... it was merely re-discovered. I use it daily EVERYWHERE. I start with Neutrogena Hydro Boost Body Gel Cream because it has so many qualities to help my skin. Then I follow it with Organic Heritage Store Castor Oil... MIXED WITH CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion. I found that emulsifying these two together in my hand and then applying it absorbs into my skin more and is less "sticky" and this locks in the moisture from the Hydro Boost. I'm 51 and am told all the time I look like I'm in my 30's. It works! Keep using it every day and I'd love to see your results after 3 months!
caster oil will purge impurities which could be why your nose got dry. I'm 62. I use it nightly with a drop or two of frankencense and my skin loves it. I do not put the frankencense on my eyelashes I use pure castor oil for that. I take time to rub it in . I give it 5 or 10 and then blot with a tissue and go to bed. Keep using it. You will see a wonderful change in your skin.
I am using it ,I am getting small rashes and one or two pimple near my ear ,but the pimples are healing fast ,is it OK do I continue . I was putting too much though.
This was what i was thinking as well.
Definitely, castor oil will aid detoxing. I experienced skin issues, when I completely changed my diet to eating vegetables. No meat, wheat or transfers and eaten 80% raw.
My skin is youthful using castor oil and floaters together with the beginnings of a cataract vanished after applying castor oil to my eyes at night.
Really? And how do you think it does that? lol
Castor Oil is known to have "drawing" qualities. One of the reasons it is recommend to only buy CO that is packaged in a glass jar is because if it's in a plastic jar, it's drawing properties can leach chemicals from the plastic. This 'MAY' be what happened to your nose. If you had a small cyst or something like that, just under the skin the CO could have drawn it out. Any time I get a blemish on my face I get CO on my finger tip and rub it into the blemish. It is most usually gone or going away by the next day.
This is true. I have used it to speed up popping boils and small abscesses. Side-effect: no scars.
Except it pretty much all comes on a ship from India…in plastic shipping containers !

I do a similar thing for a hair oil scalp treatment.. but I had just copied a lot of ingredients in a very expensive store bought one and my daughter and I just made our own one day.. I’m definitely going to do this.. 👍
Sounds great! I love homemade recipes.
Application is key! Working it into the skin is essential. Leaving it slathered on is not only messy but you’re missing out on actual benefits!!
Do you mind sharing how you work it into your skin, yes prob a stupid question… just wondering if you had a particular way ?
Just using the fingertips?
I use the same brand of castor oil that you are using for your experiment. It smells like sesame oil to me. I’ve used it for a couple of months now at night only. When I’ve put castor oil on blemishes, scrapes, or even burns, they seem to heal much faster. Also, the lines on my face have lessened . I’m going to continue using it.
Most people put it on overnight and not having it on all the time.
Also 1 week is too short, like retinol it doesn’t work that quickly. If you use it warmed up some, like held in your palm for a minute it thins out and actually doesn’t feel so thick and spreads a thin layer
I put castor oil on my under eyes with aquaphor on top and it really helps my dark circles and fine lines. I am 50 for context
Castor oil took the skin tags off of my neck that I had for 15 years. I am very happy about that‼❣‼
did you only apply castor oil or try to cut it, as well? I have one by my eye, just below the lower lash line, such a sensitive area to try to mess with, but if something could work there, I would like to try it
Am gonna try it also, have one on my shoulder though not big but still
@@rls2229 my mom had a big skin tag on her eye lid and she applied it every night and it went away.....I don't remember how long it took but it was under a year. It's worth it. A year goes by fast and before you know it, it's gone!
@@rls2229 I just used pure castor oil. I applied it every night. The tags, I had 4 of them, started drying out and I then pinched them off. There was a little blood, but within a week, the skin smoothed out and the discoloration disappeared in about two weeks. I kept telling myself that I was going to get a doctor to remove them, but castor oil did the job.💚
OP how long did it take to remove the skintags? How did you apply it - at night just rubbed in, or on a cottonball adhered with medical tape?. Thanks
I love how castor oil is "all the rage" right now when it's been around for hundreds of years. It did help with the dark circles under your eyes a bit. I'm going to try it there and see what happens.
yes, strange how younger people think they have invented something new !! ha ha ha
I hope this guy reads the comments and makes us an update. I liked the thoroughness of the research, but the chosen time span was indeed (way) too short. Do this for one month (and apply it as the stuff itself SHOULD make one feel l it wants to be applied...), and you'll come up with a truly amazing result - and video.
This was interesting so I had to stop and watch! Love the fact that your a guy and tried this. Ok so I know nobody will read this but in case you do here’s what I experienced. Im 56, I started with some normal facial lines but the lines around my eyes and forehead were starting to deepen. I started using caster oil about 6 months ago. I did not like the consistency or the fact that it felt like it didn’t truly and completely sink into my skin from day 1. By the way I only put on before bed every night and use “the ordinary” and “Cerave” hyduralonic acid and face lotion daily. any way I ended up mixing equal parts of castor oil with “the ordinary” Rose Hip oil. Applying generously to a clean face nightly. My results have been great! My lines have softened and some disappeared all together, my pores are now much smaller and hardly noticeable and my complexion overall is smoother and looks healthier. I’m super impressed with my results. The only other thing I love especially in the winter is shea butter. I may go back to that in the winter to put on top and to seal the rosemary/castor oil mix. ❤❤❤
thanks for the idea of mixing it with Rosemary oil. I've also had great results with using it on face and eyebrows, eye lashes at night, 3 to 4 nights a week. Also on feet; then wear cotton socks to bed.
You can mix with a lighter oil like coconut.

I myself dilute dilute my castor oil. With another oil that I love. I am 65 years old. The picture that you see is 1 year old. I don't like for my face to feel greasy. So I always Sprint a little water on my face then apply a small amount. I also like to use it after a shower why my pores are still open. That's how you get the full benefits a castor oil. Good luck😊
I have seen jojoba oil recommended as a carrier oil.
What other oil type or types do you recommend using with the castor oil?
@@loveKG26 Jojoba oil and coconut oil are 2 good ones to use with castor oil. You can also add a bit of rosehip seed oil.
Hi @sandramason1358 can you share what oil you use to dilute the Castor Oil? I’ve heard Frankincense is great
FYI : Not “sprint”, spritz!
Just so you know, you don’t have to put it on so thick and you can rub it in a little bit . as well as one week is not long enough for anything to see any kind of results unless it’s magic but it does help with lines and stretch marks. It just takes a little bit longer than a week and it’s always a good idea to wash your face, not only before, but after a few hours after you’ve applied it and has had time to absorb into the skin.
The peeling around the nose is the vitamin A castor contains. Like Retinol, it will purge areas around the nose where the skin is a little different but it’s a cell stimulator and purgative.
Im sure other comments say this but you could mix it with a sesame or almond oil to reduce stickiness. Cool Video!
I love how every generation thinks they've discovered something brand new. Thanks to Edgar Cayce, many of us have been using castor oil/castor oil packs for over 6 decades.
wow, you don't look a day over a decade, never mind 6 :))
I’ve only tried castor oil for styes. It works. Once I feel a stye coming, I put a little castor oil on it. Within 1-2 days it’s completely gone. The heat from the castor oil ( you don’t even feel the heat though) opens the pores. I don’t think you need to put so much on. At least not so much like it’s so thick and drippy. I’ll try my face and see how it goes.
Great video. Thank you for sharing. Subscribed.✌🏽😊🌺
Use it for 3 months & keep us posted. You did a helluva job- great work😁👍

You need to use it longer, and it makes you puffy because it gives you more collagen on your cheeks, which is a desired effect for women I'm not sure if men care.
Castor Oil helps women with cysts and PCOS and other things! It helped get my wife get rid of a cyst in her ovaries. Whoever has the same problems do your research on castor oil compresses
Did she take it by mouth or rub it on her ovary area? That's great news.
I was wondering if it was actually in her ovary or on her ovary? Big difference. I'm using castor for large cysts in an ovary. My doctor says they have never seen that type resolve itself. Did they recommend that she surgically remove her ovary for biopsy? Mine did. It would be a dream come true for me. Apparently the ones on the outside of ovary do sometimes resolve. I'm glad for your wife! Thank you

@@HulaShack1 Hi, you rub it on the skin on the lower body. Best is to use a wool compress. You will find detailed info on it if you google "castor oil compresses".
It gets absorbed through the skin.
She used it for 3 months when going to bed. When you use a hot-water bottle on it, its even better.
For more details there are many videos around on youtube of women showing how to do it and sharing their success stories (PCOS, cysts etc)
@@jeccym8715 when we did our researching we also found that women used it for cysts in breast. I also have seen wool compresses for castor oil that were sold for kidney area, thyroid etc.
I do not see any reason why it should work with cysts in lower belly and breast area but not in the kidneys. I highly recommend you do some research on it and give it a try. The beatiful things about natural remedies are they have no negative side effects and are quite cheap. Good luck to you 👍
I’ve been applying caster oil at night for the last couple of weeks and I really like it and I can see a difference in my skin, specially my under eye area and when I wake up in the morning, even my lips look fuller because I always slather it over my lips. It's made my eyelashes and eyebrows thicker, and it made flourishes of red spots from broken capillaries fade away. I like it so much now that I use it all over my face as a moisturizer. You mentioned that it's not a moisturizer but a seal instead, which I'm fine with, because I think it helps skin vitality more than a moisturizer would, then. I'm really happy with it!!
People saying 7 days too short but I noticed right away that the right side seems brighter and clearer.
Would be curious to see castor oil on one side vs. some other skin friendly oil (olive?) on the other, to see if the results are just due to better moisturizing from application of any oil or if castor oil specifically lives up to its hype.
lighting, mate
Key word; looks
If he didn't specify which side he'd put the oil, you would not know and for me, that says it all. I do believe that if you put toxic cooking oil on your skin, you would have some type of moisturizing effect. Doesn't mean it's a good thing, I tried it myself for 1 to 2 months with the same results.
I find it to be very mosturining and antinflammatory. It made skin look soft and supple with my fine lines around my eyes being less noticeable.
The painter's tape 🤣...

Rub it in! It's not supposed to be dripping down your nose lol. Ive been using it every night for the most part and on my stomach for about 5 months now and definitely see significant results. Not to mention having about 5 people asking my how my skin is so smooth and clear and Im 57. I use it on my knees, hands and elbows as well. Definitely something I'd recommend!
Banger Video
Next time, do it for one month 🔥🔥
but still, there is a difference, so in my opinion its worth it
Okay I think you needed to watch some videos on how to apply before making this video. As others mentioned, you need to rub between your hands first, use a SMALL amount and for God's sake, don't put it right around the eye. The eye absorbs everything which is why you dab around the orbital bone when applying anything to the eye area.
It is best to dilute castor oil with a thinner carrier oil such as almond oil. However, in the long run, topical solutions are not the answer. Heal the skin from within with good diet and exercise, less makeup, and avoid harsh cleansers (soap and alcohol products) on face.
The dry skin could have been from it being rejuvenated no? Maybe that spot was previously slow to push the skin layers out and then when it kept more moisture it was able to resume
Yeah, a week isn't long enough to see benefits. Having said that, I've been wearing a liver pack for a few weeks and within days I saw a difference in my visits to the bathroom. Great for the gut health.
Helps detox the liver.
Brown Glass also keeps plastic out and protects from sun/ light damage.
Try 30 days, as the first week is just a detox and removing toxins. That's why you had the excess sloughing by the nose. Great experiment and great video, thanks!
Thank-you for your sacrifice! I accidentally found that castor oil thickened my eyelashes, after using it for my mild Blepharitis, a few years ago. It does work for some things!
I use castor oil mixed with jojoba oil for months now and I definitely feel my face doesn’t have that crusty affect. After I apply I use unscented powder applied with a soft brush to seal the oil on my face. Bushing light handed. Results leave my face incredibly soft and wrinkles are smooth out. This is what works for me well.
Excellent idea thank you! I have 100% corn flour (not wheat flour) which contains minerals good for skin and skin rashes and itchiness, so will use that.
do it at night silly. AND you must put on hands and rub together to activate it. Or warm the oil. Also, castor is just a carrier oil and you need to add stuff to it. AND you need a 30 day use....it doesn't work fast. Pimples are common during use due to it cleaning out your pores......It works good for older people with dry or oily skin.
If you do anymore face experiments you should exfoliate and mask prior to doing it. It would of helped with the dry patch on your nose and the other areas. It's supposed to be put on before bedtime like other serums while your skin is clean and resting.
Oils/Castor are more like a "sealant" that seals in moisture. Moisture being water. I add oils/castor to my body/face/hair after hydrating w/ moisture/water daily. I love castor as a beauty secret
Worth watching for the strict environmental conditions during this research. The painters tape should be a mandatory part of any scientific research.
This made me belly laugh out loud! I got so caught up in the oil research and comments I'd forgotten about the painters tape.
Im a 66 year old lady and have been using castor oil on my face and it has softened my wrinkles. I also gently rub a bit on my eyelashes every night and can testify that my eyelashes have definitely lengthened by about 2 mm. Now that might not sound like a lot of length, but on eyelashes it's definitely a big change. I also put a drop on two warts I had and within a week they were gone. Don't put a plaster on the warts after putting a drop on the wart, just leave it on to work and you can see how it shrinks every day until its gone forever.
Those are great results for only one week. I find that mixing the oil with a moisturizer both for your face and body works better and absorbs better without the stickiness of straight castor oil.
I've used castor oil on my hair roots (as a night mask) alongside vitamin A and rosemary oil and I have a wonderful strong hair that a lot of people envy. It's also breakage resistant, and whenever I stop for example in summer, my hair starts literally shedding whenever I brush it. I also apply it every now and again on my eyelashes and they stopped falling off so much, which is a win in my books. I've suffered with hair loss and eyelashes loss and I don't anymore and the only change I've done was the castor oil. I've always eaten healthily lots of veggies and moved my body daily, and it helped with other important things in my overall health, but not with hairloss at all. After years of using it I can tell you it is a magic pill but bare in mind you won't see many results for the first three months or so, you gotta be consistent and patient, like with all natural methods.
The hair masks must be massaged, brushed through delicately. The hair should be held in a shower mask or an isolated mask to provoke pore opening. The mask should be kept on for at least 2 hours, that's why I go to sleep with it. I apply it every 5 or 7 days, depending on how much free time I have. The shampoo must be done twice as it's fatty on the hair and you wanna take it off. Bless you ! hope you'll try and...you'll thank me later
I would love to try this. Can you please tell me what and how much of it go into the mask? I was sent into early menopause from breast cancer and 10 years later, my hair is still coming out by the handfuls. I love castor oil and use it on my skin, but I have struggled with exactly how to use it in the hair for my scalp. Do I brush it through or not? Thank you for your tip.
@@kimpariso6765 oh I hope it's going to work for you as well. So mix it with vitamin A and a bit of rosemary essential oil. You might also want to add vitamin K, because it's really also second to your personal needs. Also you shouldn't use aggressive shampoos and you might want to leave the mask on, isolated with a plastic cap overnight and do it minimum 2a week ...keep in mind you might not see any results even for 6 months . When applying a scalp massage for blood flow should be performed. My sister lost a lot of hair due to bulimia and with a lot of patience applying these masks, and also a healthier life style, she got her youth hair back . We don't use aggressive shampoo as well and we don't use any products with harmful ingredients on our skin/scalp because an unhealthy skin is of course an unhealthy hair follicle. The first new follicles should grow stronger after about 6 months and if you keep going you might have a thicker and stronger Hari within 2 years. Every person is unique so be patient please. Bless you!!!
@@cristinamaria2059 Do you mean Vitamin E, because the only Vitamin A that I am finding on Amazon is to be taken orally or in other beauty products?
That’s great advice. I’ve had alopecia in the past and some thin parts still, so I will try this. I read if you shampoo and lather dry, then rinse with water you get the oil out easily. This seems to work. I will try your mask as I was reading about rosemary oil for the hair too.
@@KimFsharpHarp you can add a tiny little bit of rosemary oil in the castor oil too, alongside vitamin A pure oil, like myself. You should see if you need to add other vitamins, too, such as vitamin K, maybe, second to the ones you lack in. I just shampoo twice and the castor oil comes out easily no problem. But the night mask with the plastic film on my head works for me. I hope it could work for you too. Keep in mind you should be patient for the first six months as you don't really see any difference in the beginning at all, maybe. So check with yourself on the 8th month or after a year to evaluate the situation
I think castor oil made my skin look better and more full, but I did get acne. I put a drop or two in my moisturizer and still had some large pimples come up. I still use it on my body with just a few drops in my moisturizer. Seems to help things heal up faster such as insect bites, or scratches.
Yes, mosquito bites!! But I've seen the effects for the better with acne.
That was my experience, as well. I stopped using it because of the acne but am curious to know if maybe our skin will eventually get used to it and the acne may stop.
@@Theorist9 the acne probably is due to your skin purging impurities because of the castor oil. maybe exfoliating daily before applying the oil will help?
I broke out from Aquafor. I think castor oil might break me out as well.
#1 You don't need to put on so much. #2 It takes 28-32 days for your skin to turn over. #3 It’s a natural product, which takes more time. I have been thinking of doing a castor oil "challenge" myself, but was thinking ofv3 months all over my face, my forearms, and the backs of my hands. I'm 60 and has fragile, thin skin on my arms and hands. The sun spots and crepey skin is real!
Ive been using castor oil for a few months now and it helps keep me stay regular, i have less bloating in my abdomen when i sleep with it on my belly and in my belly button and it has helped clear up my acne and dark circles under my eyes, and the fine lines i was beginning to get have stopped, my face looks so much better than before. It's amazing, use it every night!
Caster Oil is amazing for growing your hair.....AMAZING!
should we use it alone or it should be diluted with other oils?
can you be more specific ... how or what you did and saw. thanks my friend.
You need those special longitudinal face plasters to cover those forehead lines, and train yourself to NOT raise your eyebrows. CERA VE Retinol Serum (inexpensive and recommended by Plastic Surgeons BTW) will remove fine lines and help to reduce wrinkles FASTER than Castor OIL. Don't apply Retinol to your eyelids, and don't go in the sun without SPF 50 though. I use BOTH, but the CO just before bed. Castor Oil also draws impurities to the surface and then they come out. A week is definitely not long enough.
1) Thank you for the giggles.
2) A week experiment? For a young person? So many applications? So much castor oil?
3) There is a phenomenon called "healing crisis" and that means that something that is good for you will bring subcutaneous problems (toxins, buried blemishes) to the surface, so they can be eliminated.
I hope this helps. I'd like to see what happens when you've been using it for a month.
I'm 77 and I use just a couple of drops 2x a day and it's doing good things for my wrinkles. :)
I put tretinoin on my face, and the first few months my skin was in a bad state but now it looks flawless. Maybe the castor oil is similar, you have to stick with it to see the results over a longer period of time.
Drink a gallon of water everyday. That really makes a difference. I saw a difference in one week though. Not what some claim though.
I think you should try it again but your whole face. You should mix it with another oil, I use sweet almond so it's not so sticky and pore clogging, that's what I do. Castor oil is a humectant and it pulls water from the atmosphere.
Really dude, one week js not enough and I tell you castor oil has many more benefits than what you pointed out. Sounds like you are casting shade but that’s ok cause so many people are experiencing positives from using it that your bias won’t matter. BTW, your stretch marks did look better and tone of skin much brighter. Try it for longer, use in belly button each night and on feet, massage not slather on. Your circulation will improve. I love it! Cheers!
I love castor oil. Do not worry about your eyes, if anything I have dry eyes and it helps tremendously with this condition, Castro oil also helps with eye lashes growth. For the molds, I will recommend Apple cider vinegar. You will be amazed. I had a couple in my chest and they were gone in couple of days. 🙏🤗
'do not worry about your eyes' - that's not very good advice is it ?????
Those are amazing results for only 1 week!
Love how we get to see the real differences with your videos
Dude, really funny video in places, thank you, and for your experiment. A week though is pretty short, a month would probably be more conclusive esp where your stretch marks are concerned. But I think your week showed enough difference to prove a difference to me. After a month on me I saw a marked difference and continue to. That is, Puffy.. which is welcome when you’re a 67 yo woman. So I’m personally SOLD and sticking with it. Anyway, thanks for this; you were funny and cute, your GFs voice was too ❤😂 ps, as for your bump, applying it more than twice a day could be a little much. 12 hrs apart, adequate enough, and more might be too much for any oil
If the skin takes 21 days to rebound, one week is NOT enough to see the work. That goes with any skin treatment.
With the dry patch around your nose, it happened to me quickly too that actually scared me for a few years using castor oil. I think you have to use castor oil with other oils for the best results (carrot seed oil)😊
Some of us have known this for the longest oil
Do you also apply it the same way? How long do you keep it on?
@@ditoo2002 overnight not during the day
I love how effeminant you are and willing to be so emotionally vulnerable. You definitely strike me as the kind of guy who will hold his woman's purse in public.
YOu can thin it out with coconut oil and get it the thickness you want that way.
try applying to the mole and covering with a bandaid or a castor oil pack on the stretch marks. i think you will notice better results if you have something holding the castor oil in place on the area. I did it on a freckle on my leg and noticed after a few days it had lightened by almost half. Also, when applying on your face, massage the castor oil in; it will make a huge difference (i use a jade gua sha stone and roller).
It gave him a better haircut with highlights too.. amazing stuff.
hahaha
Great vid. Try using it for a month and you'll see far better results. The things that happen to our skin doesn't happen in a week so you need to give it more time. You will see much better results if you give it more time. Also, you can use it at night if you don't want to use it during the day...
Edgar Cayce also gave healing advice with castor oil. Nothing new, but we are going back to basic healing practises instead of all the toxic potions of now a days !!
Come on, seriously dude, you have to use it LONGER!! You can’t get results that are mind blowing in just a week. 🤦🏻♀️ Common sense isn’t so common anymore. 🙄
I have been using castor oil for 3.5 months. I'm thoroughly addicted. I use it twice a day.
It doesn't take long for it to be absorbed into the skin.
I carry a small bottle with me at all times.
I've seen the effects on several people. Psoriasis....gone.
Deep cracks in the heels, gone.
Arthritis is almost gone.
My profile photo was taken last week. I'm 66, 67 in September. No filter.
Jump on the castor oil train.😊 😊
With any skin regimen always try the regime for 30 consecutive days. Also, try using less. Place a small amount in your hands and rub them together to warm it up and then press it into the desired area. After distribution massage the remaining into the skin. It does take several minutes of gentle massaging for the skin to absorb.
Have you ever tried coconut oil, cold compressed and organic? It's not as heavy an oil as the Castro. Thanks for sharing.
I think everybody and their mother know all about the famous caster oil, but wow. If this ain't one of the best BEFORE-AND-AFTER-CASTER-OIL videos I've ever seen, I don't know what is...
You use tooo much castor oil ;)
Yeah he did
Coconut Oil is also amazing
Coconut can clog pores and cause acne on the face though
Castor oil made a difference in my skin overnight. My skin was MUCH smoother and plumper. The only place I don’t use it is under my eyes, it actually made them puffy. Other than that, I LOVE it!! I mix it with fresh squeezed lemon juice. God’s beauty products ARE miracles.
Many blessings! 🦋
For a better comparison you really need a minimum of 30 days remember this is a natural product and it takes time to work any skin defects that you may have took a much longer time to form , my experience using castor oil for many years has been fantastic, i am from the west indies and most kids here in my time once a year at summer vacation got a large dose of castor oil, it cleaned us out and kept us from many health issues.
I don't know that I learned anything from this video, but it was HIGHLY entertaining! thank you!
No kidding!😂
In masking tape adhesive there are often rubber-based adhesives made from compounds like butyl, butadiene-styrene, nitrile, or polyisobutylene.
If you want to up your game mix castor oil, rosehip seed oil and black seed oil. Equal parts of each. Also be sure to exfoliate your face once in a while. Nothing too harsh. Def use while after cleansing and pat into skin while your skin is still a little damp or moist and don’t use so much. Especially around the eyes. It won’t hurt ur eyes, but I find my eyes get blurry and my glasses fog up right after putting it on.
Supposedly people actually use it in the eye (a little bit) to help with eyesight. I don’t do that and haven’t done enough research.
The black seed oil is a very potent antioxidants, probably one of the best. I even take it orally 1-2 tablespoons per day. It has a weird almost pepper type test. Research black seed oil. Try the trip or you can do castor and just black seed and even a few drops of frankincense. I use about 7-8 drops per 2 oz, but you can use more. Just don’t use any essential oil like frankincense alone in your skin. You need to add it to other carrier oils like the ones I mention. I’m 57 yrs old and it’s been a game changer. I have extremely dry skin. I use this mixture on my whole body right out of the shower. Since my body is wet, it does not feel heavy and I don’t apply a lot.
I only put it on at night before bed. Often I will mix it 50/50 with Aloe Vera to make it not so viscus.
Wondering why you elected to apply an amount that left your skin with a coating that could bead-up. I can’t imagine applying any skin product in this way.
I will agree with the others, you need a 30 day to actually get any real substantial data. You checked off all the right criteria on quality, hexane free, organic, et al. Glass brown bottle. Good stuff. The plumping of the under eye skin is a good thing. Castor oil is very hydrating. To see more improvement, after showering/washing your face, don't over dry the skin, pat it dry then apply the oil. It is a humectant and will hold/draw in moisture. It works on minimizing skin tags, and other issues on the skin. But it needs more than a few days to accomplish this. If it takes 5 years to get to X condition and you want to repair years of damage, then you're going to need more than 7 days. But you get the idea. Keep using it and then take some more shots to compare to before, like @ 30, 60 and 90 days.
Waaay too much oil used. The skin can only absorb so much, hence the puffiness. Experiment was too short to show exponential results. However, well done you!
It would be cool to see an update video of this.
It's best to put it overnight
I prefer to sleep clean and let my body rejuvenate
Yeah it is thats what i did when using castor oil
@@lifeisagift5627 it doesn't disrupt rejuvenation, in fact it aids it
You do this at night, not during the day. Sleep in a shirt that you don't mind ruining. Massage the oil in a bit to start the soaking in, in other words, not dripping off the face. If you are a restless sleeper you might want to put a towel on your pillow. I applied it on my upper chest last week. There was a small redish spot about the size of a pearl that had been there for about a month. By the next morning the spot was flaking. In a few days it was gone. I thought your mole looked lighter or a little blurred in the mirror. A week is not really long enough to have real results.
Jake Ryan - from 16 candles...is that you!!
😂
OMG!
By you applying it on the eyelid ur lashes will grow that’s what’s making you feel the difference.
I’ve been using castor oil for 3 months. Twice a week I wash my face at bedtime and then put the castor oil in fairly thick. After about 30 minutes I use my Melaleuca moisturizer which helps the castor oil. Within a couple days my dry skin is gone and my face is supple and plumper. I’m very fair and have very dry skin. I use my gua sha stone across my face and up and down my neck. I’ll never stop using this miracle oil. I’m almost 60 and I love my skin now.
You need to try more beauty experiments!!!
