Great video! Thanks brother! If i give my friend a radio who is 10 miles away, and set it up in the simplex mode like you explained, will i be able to talk to him? Terrain here in South Carolina is no hills or mountains.
The elevation changes in your area will have an affect on your radio performance. If you can't connect by simplex, choose a repeater in your area and program them for that frequency. If you do, you will have no problem with the terrain.
Keeping it super simple. Thanks.
Thanks for watching.
Brother you did make that simple thank you.

Great video and glade to see your old back drop in my opinion it’s perfect 👍
That's an occasional thing.
I did it today. Thank you for the radio and for your simple instructions.
That's awesome, and you are welcome.
Thanks! This is helpful! I need to dust off mine
Thanks for watching
Appreciate this video! Very simple. It did seem pretty complicated before . And yes we pretty redneck over here too lol.. 👍

I have a bunch of those but been transitioning to the uv9r pro just because it's water resistant and usbc rechargeable it ordered that way
The UV-5R has is USB chargeable if you get the extended live battery.
