and, I agree about tornadoes. I grew up in northern Indiana. tornado alley with no basement. I grew up hearing a lot about the Palm Sunday tornadoes. My dad was a volunteer fireman. He talked some about the damage, but would never talk about what he actually saw. From what I was told, it was bad.

I love books. I read and listen to books quite a bit these days. Is your book on audible? If not, maybe I can find a way to help get it in audio format for people who are not able to read a book. I have always wanted to narrate an audio book. That would be so cool

Consider that there may very well be two EMP attacks - the initial to take out the electronics and then, some time later (hours perhaps), a second to destroy the devices that were retrieved from EMP bags, etc..

How are you going to handle people coming to your door asking for food or water. It would be hard to turn away a woman with small children who are legit in need or neighbors you've known for years.

Anyone who thinks the can buy one, put it away and use it when SHTF happens is a fool..... You need to know how the radio operates, a basic knowledge of radio concepts. HT is for short communications.... HF is for long communications.... Learn how antennas work, how to make antennas. You need to know what bands to use and when, USB, LSB, AM, FM & CW!

OP ~ You may have already done this and I missed it, but it might be a time to review. What is it? The how to any why of setting the proper Standing Wave Ratio or SWR. on your radio for maximum efficiency. The principal behind it is the same for CB, GMRS, or HAM so showing how to do it on CB would answer the license issue. Just a thought from me, for another of your outstanding videos.

Good to know OP, thanks for the video. As a rule if there is a question about any meat I always heat it and if it's bad it will smell bad and if not it's should be good to go.

I cook up some potato slices or cubes and some onions with some oil in a large frying pan. Get the potatoes browned up usually cook them first then add the onions let them cook up for a while I ad my corn beef hash makes a great meal! I make my own and can it. I love the stuff but it is so expensive, even when food was cheep it was expensive. Sometimes, I get really out there and add some onions to my meat and taters before I can it but it's all good in the end. For so many folks if they even look at that expiration date then they are pre-programmed. Those dates mean nothing. Thanks for sharing OP, love you guys.
