- This is a very limited first look of what the system will be capable of. It shows off the basics of how platoons/companies/echelons will move approach objectives. The final release will have full capacity for recon, fire support, info share, etc.

It's on indefinite hold, I hope to come back to it one day. Some of the Arma AI issues were tough to overcome.

I so feel your frustration at 3:28 XD trying to do something awesome but Arma 3 AI does it’s best to grind you down. At least it seems that you have won because this mod looks fantastic!

Looking fantastic, will this work with any group/factions? And will this have any compatibility with your Area of Operations mod?
Love your mods, but the command enhancement hasn't been working right for me lately, which I think is the main feature I love. It isn't hiding the enemies on the map any longer. I can scroll over in tacview and see enemies running around and such. Is this correct? I thought it made them invisible if not spotted at one point, which was really good for gameplay.
Is this going to be similar to the hal mod rimmy used a while back?
I'm not that familiar with HAL, but this is similar in that it is an AI commander giving orders to groups. My intention is for very simple setup, you designate a unit as the TF commander, his general mission (Find and engage enemies, Defend this position, Take all objectices, etc), the radius of his TF (units outside the radius will not be assigned to him) and maybe a personality (aggressive assaults, recon and fire support, etc).
If you encounter a vehicle or squad, it probably has at least a platoon's worth of buddies nearby.
I also want the commander to be able to assign tasks like repair, rearm, call fire, recon with drones, all based on the organic capabilities of his taskforce.
When you recon this might be done by ?!?

Hey man, not exactly sure what the new patch involves, but I don't have any immediate plans to resume this. I have some ideas on how to scale it back and make it more workable, but I am working on the Xcom clone and a story generator system at the moment. In the meantime check out the DCO lads, Yipman etc, they are also working on an AI commander.

I've been using HAL NR6 for some time now but it has become a bit lacking in terms of some of the cool features it has are a bit buggy currently, but I'm glad there's a new commander mod in the works! Not really, it all depends on my motivation and drive for any given project. Just coming out of a modding break now.

Aye drongo. Im still playing arma too hahaha. Dont worry mate the janky af ai mate. makes the game on the same lvl as skyrim NPC dialogue. Creates character. Wander how machine learning could fix this game after a simulated 10000 year instance?
