  • Osaka is not somewhere a lot of people visit but we absolutely LOVED it! It is like a mini Tokyo and not too far from Kyoto on the bullet train. We really enjoyed it and like Tokyo has a great vibe and nightlife! Lots of people said Osaka isn’t vegan friendly but we found HEAPS! Especially popular for their Okonomiyaki!
Where we ate and what we did:
    🌏Night one:
Oko for vegan friendly eats and pour your own drinks (wild). We LOVED the Okonomiyaki here- / oko_osaka_okonomiyaki
    🌏Day two:
Breakfast at Optimus cafe- it’s all vegan and a good spot for brekky and heaps of options for lunch / optimus_cafe
Visited Osaka Castle (a beautiful spot to get a good view of Osaka)
Lunch - This place is VERY popular for vegans and great eats/ items to go. paprkia shokudo shimachi
Thrifted in America Mura - heaps of cool vintage goods and plenty to see
Sake Bar - no English but incredible tastings and a lot of fun / ponshutagram_bar
    Natural wine bar -
Dinner - we found a hidden vegan Italian gem and it was some of the BEST pizza. Super different and well worth it! We did takeaway and ate it in bed. The owner is so passionate about what he does and his cats! / sukhasana_pozzuoli
    🌏Day three:
Brekky was a 7/11 special (always a good time)
Universal doesn’t have a whole lot of vegan options so again, pack your snacks! Also if you want fast track make sure you book ahead.
Lunch: A vegan superfood cafe which I think is owned by an Aussie? Good Aussie coffee too! superfoodcafe-...
Dinner we went back to Oko because we loved it!
Late night cocktail bar - Bible Club bibleclubpdx.com
🌏Day Four: We took the bullet train back to Tokyo to fly home.
Ended up at a food court not far from where we stayed and we were overwhelmed. It was pretty hard to find vegan.

To be fair, Australia has the 4th largest eco footprint in the world. The plastic in Japan is minor compared to how much Australia pollutes per capita.

Binged the videos. Can't wait to fly to Japan from Melbourne in three weeks! Saved a ton of places from your vlogs to eat at!
