My sole mission in life as a gender fluid person (who most of the time uses a nonbinary identity) is to confuse everyone in any way I can because no Karen, I am not a human, I am a (mostly) genderless alien
My first ever binder finally came in the mail today and it was way too big. I cried a lot but my mom reassured me and told me we were going to keep searching togheter until I have a good one. I just want to reassure the people that have nobody to support them in their binding journey: it’ll be okay! Finding a good binder is a journey and you’ll eventually find what you need. It’s almost impossible to immediately find a perfect one in one try. You are very strong and you can do this! All the love

@Donnell Okafor what gender/sexuality are you? If you say there hideous just becuase there a certain part of a flag, then whatever you are, you are hideous back. Sorry, just pointing out that you don't have a valid excuse on why there "hideous" when being considered hideous is either being ugly in the body/face, or having a hideous personality, which they where nice a not being a bitch, unlike you. Plus, you don't even know what they look like, so you can't prove there "hideous."
Fr and the ppl who birthed you claim Christian. This is proof you can believe in jesus and not be awful. In fact youre not supposed to. In fact God is actually neither male nor female so we in good company!

I just want to let you all know that you don’t have to use they/them pronouns to be non binary. Hope this comment made sense :) I don’t want to unpin this comment but I got a few things to say, I don’t identify as non binary anymore, I identify as a man. I will not be deleting this video but I just want you to know that the creator of this video is not non binary (sometimes I do think of deleting this video but then I remember some people find comfort in these complications lol). I do not make complications anymore and I have stopped making them a long time ago. The only things a post now are shitposts so I’m just letting you know you’ll find any other complications except for the ones from 2020. Please do not comment mean things. There’s no point in it because I’ll delete the comment or it’ll be at the bottom of the comment section lol. Last thing, I don’t like comments or heart them anymore, I stopped a while ago. @@Jcon4002 pronouns don't equal gender :) you can be nonbinary and not use pronouns that many people associate with binary genders. for example, someone who identifies as a woman might use he/him or they/them pronouns. likewise, someone who identifies as a man might use she/her or they/them. of course, there aren't the only pronoun sets, there are other types as well, but those are just the ones that i used for examples!! ^^ it's essentially just what you identify as + what you would like to be referred to as-- they *can* correlate with each other, but they don't *have* to correlate. i hope that this helped to explain it, apologies if it's too long!!
@@karsomnia I thought pronouns did equal gender tho like weren't he made for men and her for women? Not trying to sound hateful this is just confusing to me,if I don't know the pronouns is it ok to just refer to a person by their name ?
I'm annoyed at myself because I used to use they them pronouns as my default for everyone all the time since I was like three but then in the last year for some reason I have been subconsciously influenced by my peers who I found out are not quite as understanding as I previously thought. They kept saying how using they them sounded weird to them until it rubbed off a little on me. Where previously it felt completely natural to me I now have to work at it again because now it doesn't feel as natural for some reason. I'm so friggin mad at myself!!! I will work at it until it is my default again and it feels completely natural for me to say and hear like it used to be. I'm so pissed at myself! I let people's casual prejudice rub off on me but that is not who I am! I love y'all and don't let anyone change you! Edit: Fixed spelling.
Donnell Okafor Answer me this then. What would you say in this scenario? Scenario: Someone has lost a wallet. You are telling your friend, what would you say to them?
I used to think it was weird too. Some backstory: there was a book with a character who didn’t identify as girl or boy (although I didn’t know that at the time, I was 7) and the pronouns for the character were “they” and “them”. At the time I didn’t know and I thought it was a grammatical error lol, but then I found out the reason and it all became clear to me.
I have a really close friend (more like a younger sibling) who changed to they/them pronouns last summer. At first it was really hard to get the hang of since I didn’t know very many other non-binary people and I was used to calling them different pronouns. But I tried my best and eventually got the hang of it, because it is 100% worth that little extra effort so that they can feel comfortable and safe around me. Maybe it’s not so easy to adjust to new pronouns sometimes, but it’s no excuse to misgender someone because you’re too lazy to be a decent human being.
me one day: I'm nonbinary my brain: No, you're a girl me the next day: ok I'm a girl my brain: no ur nonbinary me and my brain the next next day: ok i'm genderfluid both: NO - - - - - - which was right? I still don't know. ((EDIT: THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP YALL ARE SO SWEET- I ENDED UP FIGURING IT OUT; IM JUST A BOY 😇))
this made my day so I share for others....So I am out as a transmale to my family but my friends know that i don't identify with a gender so they use they/them of me(I haven't came out to my school) and my English is 50 something and he overheard that my friends used they/them to refer to me so he pulled me aside from the class(i am panicking at this point) all he says "I heard your friends call you by they/them and by Levi instead of deadname...If you feel more comfortable with Levi and they/them I used them if you want, They/them are valid pronouns" then I started to cry because i get bullied since I dress femme and masc. All he says "Hey don't cry I accept you, hey I'm gay too I used to have a bf in my youth and my wife is a lesbian, we stay together still since we are great friends, there a unisex bathroom at *** building on ***** its a teacher br but here are the keys take a breather"......If a 50-year-old male who lived through a bad homophica area why can't others just accept it... I hope this made someone day...for all the closest people, someone out there will accept you just you haven't see them yet...Happy pride everyone
Donnell Okafor Shut up. You’re being transphobic. Respect EVERYONES pronouns not just binary ones. And your work place sounds terrible... nobody should be disrespected and hated on just because they use they/them pronouns Edit: Also this 5:08 :)
I just want to say to the people replying to this: not all nonbinary people always use they/them pronouns! Nonbinary is an umbrella term and it doesn’t always mean agender. It can also mean bigender or demigenders or anything else, which can use a variety of other pronouns!
The video in 2:15 makes me feel so validated, I tend to dress a little more feminine but either way I feel better and comfortable if I go by they/them and I'm often expected to look androgynous so that video made my day thx for including it
Bex Taylor-Klaus is another non-binary celeb and we stan a legend. Their insta is iconic. Y’all are valid!! I watch these because they’re always so wholesome
2:34 Avu-chan! Tho it’s not easy to get info on their gender since most of it is in Japanese. They’re typically listed as female on official sites but they said in an interview “Am I a man, woman, or transgender? Its difficult to choose.” There have also been sources of them saying they’re both or neither, and in a song they called themselves a “hybrid of Adam and Eve”. They’re fucking GORGEOUS, and their voice is GODLY.
Hey, since you’re non binary and lesbian, I have a question: If you identified as a boy on a day but you have a girlfriend, are you technically still lesbian or are you straight for the day? I apologise if this is offensive, I just am curious
@@tartaglia. I think what you’re thinking of is gender fluid, not non binary. Non binary is a different gender, not to be confused with agender- and you stay as that gender just as people identify as male or female. While genderfluid is when your gender changes dependant on how you are feeling on those particular days.
quick psa for all my lovely enbys: you dont have to present androgynously if you dont feel comfortable with it/dont have the resources to! you can present masculine, feminine, a mix of the two, or neither. do what makes you feel comfortable :) personally, i have a somewhat feminine/androgynous haircut, i dress feminine/androgynous and i go by she/her pronouns+a set of neopronouns i like. there is no "right" way to be an enby! just be you 💛🤍💜🖤
I swear IT'S SO HARD to use the pronouns in the start because of our conditioning.. But we get used to it and then we start getting it right. 🖤💜 I love the fact that they showed the mom part.. I felt like that for a long time with my loved one
3:46 I was actually watching this in my room on my bed, feeling dysphoric since my period had started. Then this one showed up and made my day, now im gonna actually go do things and try to be productive!! Love y'all ❤❤
Yo, I’ve recently come out to myself as non-binary and i have never felt more myself. Idk if i am gonna be able to tell people any time soon, as it would probably put me in an unsafe environment, but maybe some of my close friends will be accepting. I feel so happy that I have finally found a label that fits me. :))
Kind of a tangent, but my amab non binary amigue wished there was more amab non-binary style and rep, like they find it difficult to express themselves properly and basically wear the same pair of jeans and tshirt everyday. A lot of non-binary rep, while amazing, is afab so we gotta break the stigma
Donnell Okafor and you’re a disrespectful, transphobic person. Please educate yourself on trans people. you’re most likely confused, usually transphobes/homophobes are the way they are because they are misinformed or uninformed on the topic. if not, please take a long look in the mirror and reevaluate your choices and beliefs. Tbh it really warms my heart to see so many people figure out their identities. Like the first video made me smile because they seemed so free and happy when they were out 😄
3:45 made me cry because it's so common for christans to say "your going to hell because you like the same gender" or "your either boy or girl nothing else" this woman and her husband (or brother idk) need a medal for the super wholesome tik tok
1:07 I visited my grandmother for the first time since coming out as nb trans. I was making lunch and my sister was talking to our grandmother in the living room. She came into the kitchen, all excited and said, "Grandma just called you my sibling!" I was so happy.
A couple of my best friends know that I'm non-binary and one of them works in the same department as me at work and she always uses my correct pronouns no matter where we are and honestly, it's so sweet, but then i'm constantly scared of judgement. Then my other coworker was noticing that I was using they, them pronouns when talking about my partner and we had a little talk about it. I love how accepting my coworkers are though.
This might just be me but like, I identify as a girl but I really wouldn’t mind someone calling me he/him. I don’t look like a guy or anything idk I’m strange...
well, gender and pronouns aren’t the same thing! if you’re a girl who’s fine with he/him, that’s 100% valid, as is any other identity that you may find out works for you
F in the chat for everyone who speaks a first language where there is no genderneutral pronoun that can be used for humans. In Germany, for example, some use 'es' which is the same as 'it' in English, or they use neopronuns (which are kinda akward because they need more explanation) or just use both male and female (which often results in one being used more often, which can be annoying).
My mum laughed when I asked her to use they/them and then just proceeded to ignore my new legal name and just dead name me all the time. She always talks about rupauls drag race and "omg I have gay friends" and acts like an ally but as soon as one of her children comes out as LGBT she doesn't wanna know
Honestly the most important thing is that people respect and support you 💕 They might not get your pronouns or name right at first, but as long as they're trying it shows that they really care 💕💕💕
I have a question! How do they them pronouns work? Can you use "they" or "them" to replace she/her/he/his? Or do you use "they" to replace she/he and "them" to replace her/his? Or does that depends on the person your speaking with?
So basically! You know how they and them work in plural (more than one person), right? Because they're the same words. They are going out. Those are their bottles. That is from them. So it's gonna work almost exactly the same if you're talking about a nonbinary/gender-non-comforming person. They are going out. That is their bottle That is from them. Ya got it? She / he - they Her(s) / his - their(s) Her / him - them So just practice with it, you'll get the hang of it. For example I'll pretend to tell you a short story of a nonbinary person called Robin. Robin was only 12 when they came out as nonbinary. They have lived with that identity for 5 years now and they couldn't be happier. Personally I'm very happy for them. Im glad they feel comfortable like that. And not to mention, their taste in fashion is great! See? Easy :D
Btw, not all non binary people go by they/them. Some of them do go by their original pronouns of she or he. I myself am exploring the feeling of being nb, and i would still prefer to be she/her. This is because for me being nb doesn't mean having to change pronouns, but just feeling comfortable and not caring about fitting the mould of male or female. I am still a she but i don't want to be made to act a certain way as a she. Does that makes sense? (I'm not so good with words) So if you know someone who is nb, ask them if they do go by they/them or not :)
One of my parents recently came out to me as non-binary and I'm really proud of them. The German language doesn't have an equivalent to they/them pronouns so they still use she/her. But it proves that being nb isn't this "new, trendy" concept, it's always been a thing. My parent has always struggled with their gender identity. They just didn't have a word for it until they were 46.

As I walked into the establishment and stated that I ordered on the phone, and paid for the pizza, the guy looked at me and said: Thank you for ordering Sir... Uhh... Ma'am?
It was hilarious, and I laughed and told him I was non binary and we had I good time.

I just want to reassure the people that have nobody to support them in their binding journey:
it’ll be okay! Finding a good binder is a journey and you’ll eventually find what you need. It’s almost impossible to immediately find a perfect one in one try. You are very strong and you can do this! All the love
I’m not non-binary but y’all are valid and beautiful and I love all of you so much ❤️❤️
Edit: It's been 8 months since I commented on this and I still love you all and support you, you're all still valid! I also wanted to share that I have been thinking about gender recently and I actually do think I'm nonbinary, a demigirl specifically.. not that anyone asked lol
Donnell Okafor you just mad
@Donnell Okafor what gender/sexuality are you? If you say there hideous just becuase there a certain part of a flag, then whatever you are, you are hideous back. Sorry, just pointing out that you don't have a valid excuse on why there "hideous" when being considered hideous is either being ugly in the body/face, or having a hideous personality, which they where nice a not being a bitch, unlike you. Plus, you don't even know what they look like, so you can't prove there "hideous."
@Donnell Okafor If youre homophobic why are you even on a nonbinary tiktok video?
I have been watching non binary tik toks all night and I am straight and identify as a girl I support lgbtq+ and hope yall don't hate me for this

You can be non binary and not use they/them pronouns. My apologies for not showing that much non binaries using pronouns that aren’t they/them. I just want to let you all know that you don’t have to use they/them pronouns to be non binary. Hope this comment made sense :)
I don’t want to unpin this comment but I got a few things to say,
I don’t identify as non binary anymore, I identify as a man.
Have a good day.
(I might start posting serious things soon btw)
It’s been 2 years since I uploaded this video :’) I will try to start uploading more videos soon.
I know a few people who do, I use they then tho
Thanks nagito
How can you be non binary and call yourself he or she?I thought non binary meant you do not identify as man or woman.
@@Jcon4002 pronouns don't equal gender :)
you can be nonbinary and not use pronouns that many people associate with binary genders. for example, someone who identifies as a woman might use he/him or they/them pronouns. likewise, someone who identifies as a man might use she/her or they/them.
of course, there aren't the only pronoun sets, there are other types as well, but those are just the ones that i used for examples!! ^^
it's essentially just what you identify as + what you would like to be referred to as-- they *can* correlate with each other, but they don't *have* to correlate.
i hope that this helped to explain it, apologies if it's too long!!
You don’t need to “believe” in something for it to be real
Update quarantine seems to be helping with this. Less casual prejudice. Unfortunately quarantine has screwed the rest of my life.

Aaaa this has 69 likes and I CAN NOT ruin that so imma just leave this here.

ME TOO ITS SO CONFUSING
this made my day so I share for others....So I am out as a transmale to my family but my friends know that i don't identify with a gender so they use they/them of me(I haven't came out to my school) and my English is 50 something and he overheard that my friends used they/them to refer to me so he pulled me aside from the class(i am panicking at this point) all he says "I heard your friends call you by they/them and by Levi instead of deadname...If you feel more comfortable with Levi and they/them I used them if you want, They/them are valid pronouns" then I started to cry because i get bullied since I dress femme and masc.
Toxic Rodriguez thank you so much for this
Donnell Okafor That is uncalled for. They/them pronouns are valid. People need to get over their homophobia not the other way around.
Donnell Okafor And you can’t force your transphobia bullshit on me. You are also spelling pronouns wrong.
Also, I’m agender, not a sir.
Donnell Okafor Shut up. You’re being transphobic. Respect EVERYONES pronouns not just binary ones.
And your work place sounds terrible... nobody should be disrespected and hated on just because they use they/them pronouns
Edit: Also this 5:08 :)
Donnell Okafor If respect is earned, you don’t have any from me.
I shared this with my cousin because she is non-binary she liked it
uhhh do you mean they? or does your cousin go by she also? not trying to be rude so if I came off rude I'm so sorry
Well my cousin is more comfortable with she but good point on what i said
She? I thought you said they were nonbinary? Or are their preferred pronouns she/they? Idk. Nice to show it to them though :)
Cate Matthew so the the pronouns are they/them but but she still can be called she or they but she prefers they/them
I just want to say to the people replying to this: not all nonbinary people always use they/them pronouns! Nonbinary is an umbrella term and it doesn’t always mean agender. It can also mean bigender or demigenders or anything else, which can use a variety of other pronouns!
I wish my language was gender-neutral the way English is ;w;

Avu-chan!
0:10 how are they so stunning?!
I’m non binary and lesbian, and this made me happy.
Hey, since you’re non binary and lesbian, I have a question: If you identified as a boy on a day but you have a girlfriend, are you technically still lesbian or are you straight for the day? I apologise if this is offensive, I just am curious
@@tartaglia. same
@@tartaglia. I think what you’re thinking of is gender fluid, not non binary. Non binary is a different gender, not to be confused with agender- and you stay as that gender just as people identify as male or female. While genderfluid is when your gender changes dependant on how you are feeling on those particular days.
That tik-tok at 3:46 was not what I was expecting and I love it. I really needed that 💗💗
quick psa for all my lovely enbys: you dont have to present androgynously if you dont feel comfortable with it/dont have the resources to! you can present masculine, feminine, a mix of the two, or neither. do what makes you feel comfortable :) personally, i have a somewhat feminine/androgynous haircut, i dress feminine/androgynous and i go by she/her pronouns+a set of neopronouns i like. there is no "right" way to be an enby! just be you 💛🤍💜🖤

To be honest, I'm a trans guy and I watch nonbinary tiktoks because they're funny and nonbinary people are cute.

The Blue Shell in Mario Kart Explanation is probably the best way someone has explained something to me for at least a month.
Hello. I didn’t know this video would get lots of views. I decided to add captions. Please let me know if there are mistakes in the captions:)
Honestly the most important thing is that people respect and support you 💕
They might not get your pronouns or name right at first, but as long as they're trying it shows that they really care 💕💕💕
That is their bottle
That is from them.
Ya got it?
She / he - they
Her(s) / his - their(s)
Her / him - them
So just practice with it, you'll get the hang of it.

(I'm not so good with words)
So if you know someone who is nb, ask them if they do go by they/them or not :)
