But tbh me coming out was kinda shitty because the bullying I face in person. And online I see people debating my rights and thinking I was “groomed” into feeling this way. Despite me having to go through multiple phases of discovery and rejection. My family when I first came out as non-binary didn’t believe me until I got more comfortable and came out as a trans man. My family all know me as a boy and Parker. I recently had my birthday and I was actually me. Parker. The birthday boy. If you’re struggling, please know there are people who love you.

I’m a born woman, I’m still a woman, I don’t get why people are homophobic. And another thing I don’t understand is that from what I have seen online, some LGBTQ+ people are making one of the biggest deals about their pronouns and things like that, not to mention, if I say that I do not care about LGBTQ+ people I am going to get attacked, which has happened. Now I don’t mean that in a bad way, I mean it as in I do not care if you are LGBTQ+, I’m not going to treat you any differently, not better and not worse. However, do not expect me to wear anything about pride because I am not comfortable to do so, and do not expect me to get your pronouns right the first time I meet you, I will refer to you as what I think you are if you do not tell me straight away, do not get angry if I do so. This was so relatable I cried my eyes out watching it. I’m not non-binary, but I’m gender fluid, and it’s really hard to fit in with that identity. In my old school I was constantly bullied because of it. I had supportive friends thankfully, but very few. I moved this year and I’ve been hiding it for a while. Only two people I really trust know about it. I honestly don’t want it to get out as it could cause more problems, but at the same time it’s torture trying to keep it in. I love how Ash was so confident and was able to speak their mind in front of their class. I for one could never. I just wish transphobic and homophobic people didn’t exist, or at least just kept to themselves instead of feeling the need to tell us how they feel about us. This was really beautiful, and I loved every second of it. Thank you so much for this, it really made my day.

@@Awesomefy11 incorrect, you new kids don't understand that GENDER is tied into SEX.
Just because you feel like they/them doesn't actually mean its true, just like how if someone believes in God it doesn't actually make him true.
What im trying to say is, just because you believe something, doesn't actually make it factually correct/right.
All you havto do is look at every single mega great empire and you will see that the blending of genders has ALWAYS been the first of a downward spiral that ALWAYS leads to a nations failure.
Literally every single one of em' that has ever done it, fell, VERY shortly after it was made the "standard" when you blurr the line between man and women, things get nasty real quick, don't worry you Americans will see in about 35 years i reckon.

Ashes poem:
"I'm a girl, or maybe I'm not.
The first time i breathed in that thought I was far too old to be redefining myself,
so I coughed it out like a stale cigarette after a long night of bad decisions.
I looked at my reflection and told myself,
'You're wrong.'
That night I put on the shortest skirt I had and went out dancing, until I realized I was only skirting around my deepest fears.
You see, every time someone calls me 'she,' my stomach turs and my skin feels thick
like someone raised a panic alarm in my brain,
and with every 'her' that gets hurled my way, i get turned around.
I'm not lost, just never seemed to have the right map.
But see, I'm not trapped in a body i hate,
just wrapped in words that don't relate to the way my skin feels on my bones,
or the way that i only feel like home,
when no one knows what exactly i am so...
Maybe i am a man.
except I don't think that's right.
There has never been a fight like bar brawls through my veins telling me I need to change.
'him' feels like synonymous with someone else,
'he' a chorus unto itself,
and 'he' just fits too loosely.
so maybe I'm not... either, I mean
I go online to see "do you realize no one is buying this?"
Do you realize I'm not selling myself short anymore?
Because for the first time I have opened up the door to the possibility of being myself.
I found a treasure map that I made for myself when i was a kid, when the only thing I was scared of losing was my sense of self.
You see, i never thought we were speaking the same language until someone said
'they' instead.
So tell me I'm wrong, tell me I'm broken, tell me i must hate myself so much to be the way i am.
And i will tell you I never knew what it was to fly until i let myself breathe in.
I finally found a map, you know?
Like X-marks the spot."
Every line in the poem has a meaning, and it wouldn't be complete without the line.

The girl saying that intersex people don't exist when they're about 1.7%* of the population. She's a redhead which is 1 to 2 percent lmao

Gender fluid people are nonbinary!
Everytime they said “I’m a girl” it really did feel like a punch to the gut...

good
I told my mum I was non binary and that I was getting harassed by more then half the guys and girls in my year.
She immediately disregarded that I was being harassed and said "I'm a pretty girl and that guys are going to flirt with me"
Yeah _parent of the year over here_

So I finally added English subtitles! I'm so sorry it took so long, I had a mishap with the system and held a grudge for several months. If you would like to see this in any other language, please let me know, and I'll see what I can do.
Oki thanks! I love this
Btw, can we all appreciate the sheer talent of Rebecca Burgess? Dominique is so easy to hate, but Rebecca (her actress) is honestly one of the sweetest human beings on the planet.
If I can help you in any way to translate the subtitles in French, just let me know, since the community subtitles have been removed by youtube I don't know how to do...

we should have unisex bathrooms in every building, so that everyone feels emotionally safe and comfortable.
"I'm not traped in a body I hate. Just wrapped in words that don't relate to the way my skin feels on my bones" This is so accurate. I can't believe they found a way to express this feeling into words. Everytime I hear them say those words I get goosebumps.
This is me. All the time. I'm genderfluid. My brother tells me to change my body so he feels more natural (btw, he keeps saying it's for me, I know otherwise), and I keep explaining that it isn't necessary, and if anything I'd be the same as I am now.
@@rubybeard6406 hey, take care. hope ur brother stops being an asshole real soon:)
@@rubybeard6406 You and your feeling are 100% valid. Don't let your brother pressure you into taking actions you are not comfortable with. Listen to your heart not to toxic people, even if it is hard. I'm with you. Stay strong and stay proud.

It’s a very clear thing and there’s literally scientific evidence of intersex people’s existences but people I know irl still deny it
