Those Bridgerton editions are so cool! And having read them, I love how each of the designs tie into the specific book (as you will find out)! And they are rather problematic in places, but they reflect the time in romance history when they were written, and the genre has come a long way since.

I just recently read 'So this is ever after' and LOVED it
It's a very lighthearted, more character driven book so there isn't much world buidling going on but the characters and relationships were so lovable I couldn't put it down
Literally Merthur just canon, even down to the names if you look closely
There is the miscommunication trope going on which I usually hate but I honestly really didn't mind it, it's just straight up Idiots to lovers

SO here for a HSM musical vlog. I love those films and soundtracks. Proud moment of my childhood was guarding the tv until the high school musical premiere started. (Fighting for the tv was real in a family of six). And also, I recently got mina and the undead so I am really looking forward to that and the sequel.
Bless you for reading the Walking Dead graphic novels in a row. They are brutal and I had to take breaks between them. Can't wait to hear what you think of them. Those Bridgerton books are beautiful!

The ring movie absolutely destroyed me. It was my first scary movie ever. Came out when I was like 14. I slept with my parents that night when I got home from the movies.
Omg I watched it at 13. I barely slept on the seventh night (post-movie). I kept my bedroom lamp on and everything. I was convinced something bad was going to happen to me because my mother pointed out jump cuts of the ring visual between scenes. Like she even paused to show the 1-second clip. Thanks mom. My friends watched it in the same week as me and were fine. I'm the scaredy cat and always will be with horror movies.
I went for my 16th birthday...didn't sleep for 3 days! It still makes me shudder thinking about it! 🙈😂

I’ve read THIS VICIOUS GRACE and THE STARDUST THIEF! But your versions are incredibly gorgeous. Both are very good! THIS VICIOUS GRACE is a YA Fantasy and THE STARDUST THIEF is an Adult Fantasy (not YA). Wonderful book haul! 💜

I think the author's note on Hide makes the book make more sense. I liked the book when I read it, but a few days since reading it I'm more "I get it now". When you understand her inspiration for the book, the ending is a major "f*** you" to some current situations in the U.S.

When Gavin kept talking about his Halloween reads and how certain books will be perfect for that time of the year, I kind of started regretting something. So I'm currently reading this book called 'The Hacienda' by Isabel Canas, which might have been perfect for October and it's one of the best horror books I've read since 'Mexican Gothic' by Silvia Moreno Garcia so I'm now kind of regretting my decision.
That bridgerton set is absolutly gorgeous! Wish i had a set like that, i did find a nice set at a local bookstore. I'll buy it for christmas :)

I noticed the cat at around 11:30 but I did not realize it was a real cat until I looked closer a couple minutes later because the whole time she was so flat and still that I thought it was a print on your comforter rather than an actual cat!

They have used copies of walking dead vol.1 compendium on Amazon for pretty cheap last time I checked like $10 .. I read the first few issues back before I started collecting super hero comics & it was real good I heard it's a lot better than the show

I will say about Julia Quinn, that I dnf'd the duke and I but I've read a lot of her other books. She has some hits and misses, but she's definitely my most read historical romance author. I'd be interested to see how you like the rest of the bridgerton books and if there are some later in that series that are worth looking into.
nice haul glad your library is good mine was hopeless if you wanted anything decent you had to request which was 60p and books out of the area cost £3 so i decided to knock it on the head and buy my own books and voila my own library even though i have run out of room oops

I had to stop in the title was too good. I work in a library I have 50 books out and I still buy books as well and it’s unhealthy and a problem but I am HAPPY💕✨

I listened to the audio book for hide...was it the narrator's accent/voice??finished it I might have been happier with s physical read😉
I tried to read the Ring series. I read Ring and Spiral and was pretty put off by the author's obsession with male body parts, the main character's friend, and what happened to Sadako. I got a few pages into the third book and was so grossed out by the father that I'm giving away these books. I won't continue the series. I'll watch the movies instead.

The ring is my most hated book of this year, it's nothing like the movie and needs trigger warnings for SA in my opinion as well as many other fucked up things

You missed nothing with Hide. Waste of time-one of the MOST disappointing books I've ever read!!!!! Who do I petition to get those 2 hours of my life back?! Do yourself a favor friend and get the negative energy of that book out of your house. 😉
