This has only 2000 views?! This kind of video has to have at least 200x more!
@@in2vert It definitely will. The video shows that you really worked through the editing. The little snippets about how a tool works are also very good as well. It feels like I am watching a good Skyrim modding tutorial
@@in2vert hey bro, I found out why my modeling would not work and its honestly funny. I forgot to apply the subdivision multiplier 🥴
@@in2vertcan I still sculpt well if I only have a mouse? Or will it not work as well? Just wondering, thanks!
@iasminhabeckcunha9348 there is this thing called t i m e
@Iasmin Habeck Cunha my comment was made 3 months ago. The video had very little views. Good to know that it is taking up
dude because of you i have unlocked my hidden talent thanks bro your the best
Can't wait for part 2! The way you explain concepts is concise, efficient and easy to understand, love it.
Awesome introduction to sculpting. I love how you tell us all we need to know without wasting any time, this is perfect!
I think this is my first time commenting on a youtube video. Im not sure. I wanted to thank you for this video because I am creating a game for my final project for college and this video saved my life when I was in a hurry. Brief, clear and incredibly useful. Thank you for your content. ❤❤❤
i know i'm late, but it's so cool to see everyones results after this video in the google drive!
This is the best tutorial i have ever seen for anything ever thank you
"and watch the next 20 seconds where I finish my rough sculpt😊🥰" "RAHH DUN DURUTURU👹👹"
literally bro 💯🔥
Damn bro, I have never seen a more underrated channel.
Picture uploaded... Like your tutorial so far... no-nonsense - not too repetitive not too hard to follow either... props! :)
You deserve waaaay more suscribers. Can't wait for part 2!
Love your style of tutorial video! Yours is the easiest to understand since you explain concepts as we go on in the video.
This video has been extremely helpful for me learning blender. Thank you for taking the time to make this.
Fuck me, if this isnt one of the best paced and presented modeling/sculpting tutorials out there. How come no one told me about the booltool until now?
Good informative and to the point video. Thank you!
Another great video, keep them coming, thanks for your hard work.
I do 3d blender modelling, but never fulled around with sculpting because it seemed like I could never get it. thanks to your video over night my creature modelling as gotten a lot better. after this video I made a full sculpted dragon!
nice job making a dragon!
This deserves more views than god damn baby shark
Thanks. Blender has been on my to-do-list for a while and this has given me a really great quick overview.
0:40 the part when the said "MASSIVE👹" caught me off guard- 😭😭
Thank you for that workflow overview at the beginning! It’s been helpful to keep track of what I’m doing
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I am on an incredible journey of learning and This tutorial is by far the most clear, Concise and thorough of the myriad sculpting tutorials I've seen. Thank you so very much for detailing your process for managing Poly's as you go. This is the first tutorial I have seen that hasn't just glossed over this incredibly important part of the process!
I uploaded my first ever sculpt, "LizDog", and I can't wait to continue on this journey!!
how did you manage to use the bool tool? it just makes my model disappear when i union it.
@@jeesemcratfry1263 hhm, I'm not sure which part of the process you are referring to. I learned how to use Bools by watching Josh Gambrel and his Hard Surface Modeling tutorials.
Awesome video, I cant wait to see more tutorials about this creature, especially the magic of Multires modifier!
Ty so much this video is very helpful.I have been learning programming since 2021 and today i decided to start learning how to make models too.My goal is to make a decent horror game like resident evil
Id like to genuelly thank you. This is exactly what i needed for my work. Truly amazing.
Instant fan, well done.
Very high quality videos. Glad I found your channel through an ad. 😁
BRO, this tutorial solved exactly what I was looking for! Bool tool saved me, well, you saved me lol, thx!

I'm searching for 3d and then it comes to suggestions woow amazing tutorial thank you
This is the only video I understand
Keep it up man! You are doing incredible job, thank you soo much!
Many Thanks, my Brother!!
This video carried one of my blender creatures
IT IS POWERFUL TUTORIAL !
Thank you, i've so much in my imagination that needs to be made
This was great! Thanks, man!
Very good tutorial. Ty so much for making this.
Amazing video and amazing explanition, thank you👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
i just started trying to do this, but have one problem. When i start sculpting i do have the mirror function on, but why is there a gap in the middle once i finish sculptingfrom the side?
thank you so much for this tutorial!! its super helpful
amazing ability. I learn from you, thank you.
Extremely helpful!
You can skip the booltool part. The remeshing itself aleady does that for you
I've found your channel by chance.. Awesome.. As a Biologist I was looking for an idea for easy sculpting animals, ect. in BLENDER.. Then to change them into nightmare animals.. All the best from Colorado USA.. 😁😎🇺🇸
Thank you very much and greetings from Germany :)
If anyones wondering why sculpting mode doesn't work, try using the multiresolution modifier instead of subdivision surface-
Bro this helped me out sm 😭
Great tutorial man.
Thank you so much for the help! I can now create an amazing animation! Awesome vid!
You earned a sub & like :)
Great tutorial
Awesome! Liked and subscribed!
This is the first time I’ve actually understood blender, and I have class in using blender..
Haha 😂 im glad you understand it now.
@@in2vert Be honest do you think the patreon is necessary to understand further??
@@stijngroot1657 This is nothing I can tell you. I can tell you only, that when I was learning Blender it was very helpful to watch full uncut modeling videos.
U deserve more subs
Thank you this helped a lot
Very Underrated tutorial. I liked how you went in depth with little side tutorials on various things. However I cant seem to figure out how exactly you have you have used booltool at 7:10. The legs go from being cylindrical to squares in a single frame and I'm not sure what you've done.
I just used bool-tool and after that remeshed in sculpt mode. I think I know what you mean, you see the remeshed result immediatelly after using bool tool. Shame on me and my cutting skills :O
@@in2vert Yep that's what I was missing, just had to remesh it again. Thank you for helping. Ill can now continue with the rhino fish :)
How do you remesh in sculpt mode? Sorry for asking but I generally have no clue 💀
This is wonerful i wish i was as good as you❤❤
May u tell me the pc requirements for work in blender?
At least 16 gigs of ram
At least terabyte of storage
And a descent gpu most preferably an nvidia gpu
2060 - current
A good cpu that matches your graphics card
That should do ok
Thanks so much 🙏🏻
On the booltool step the legs don’t mesh with the body at all for me is there something I’m doing wrong
I didn’t understand the leg part too much. Specially on 6:07 where he just selects it and moves after moving the leg loop to the bottom. What are the short keys he used?
This is a great tutorial, I love how simple it is and this tutorial actually thought me how to use sculpting mode. But I have a problem, when I'm doing my creature like yours, mine does not seem to be smooth like yours. Like in 7:45, yours look smooth but mine looks way to low poly, mine has big squares and it annoys me. Do you have any suggestions to fix my problem?
For anybody still wondering this, you have to change the voxel size to something smaller then the default when you remesh and this will make it look smooth like he has.
Guys i looked up the bool tool and couldnt find it, do you have an idea what now?
simplesmente o melhor!!
ur insane thx
Rhino Fish > Glazed Donut
i have to ask, after using the bool tool, how do i make it so that what i do to my mesh mirrors to the otherside, cuz u didnt show anything after the bool tool(i think) and when i try to normally scult,it doesnt mirror
edit : i figured it out,i had to mirror it from the top right, thanks alot for this tutorial
great vid but im having trouble with the sculpting part, and by that i mean instead of adding stuff its just making a bigger oval if that makes sense. i think what i mean is how do you get the sculpt to fill the refrence of the rhino??
How do you add more polygons? When I start with a sphere and start sculpting it’s just a blocky mess and doesn’t seem to get better, noob here week 1 of learning
after union my mirror modifier got lost... I see u have it the same but in sculpting it still applies. Why my sculpting doesnt get mirrored? In layout I dont have mirror after unioning as well
edit: I see now, u have this "Y" option marked in sculpting mode
7:13 really stuck on this part bc i dont know how ti get rid of the verticies inbetween please can somebody help
some of my mesh dissapears when i use the union thing, how do i fix this?
When I try to add the set of nodes to the legs to angle them, it only applies to one leg, how do I get it to mirror?
what do you mean with set of nodes? Can you post a timestamp?
Thanks bro now i can do my oc 3d
Man youre the best
I think murloks will ride on this creature.
So,,, every time I add new objects and join them together, I can't get rid of the seams in sculpt mode. Any advice ? Even smooth brush can't get rid of them, the line still remains.
This is awesome. I just had one issue. When I merged the legs with the body it made the center of my object the center of the cylinder. I just restarted, but not sure what happened there. I’m brand new to blender btw, so I really don’t know much of what’s going on with it.
Am I the only one who thinks that the creature that he made looks very cute.
It was supposed to :)
It was supposed to :)
Why the hook tool isn't working for me as for u in the video 😢
same here
ugh im trying to follow this tutorial and none of the sculpting works like his does
when i try using snake hook in sculpt mode instead of selecting 1 area it selects 2 and moves them parralel to each other how do i stop it from doing that
Why not add a multiresolution modifer instead of subdivision surface :)
I can't model the cylinder in the blender like you did, mine remains static at the top and when I pull it it kind of creates another one, do you know what it could be?
great tutorial i just suck at moddeling
Can anyone help me? New to this. Just starting this tutorial and he's switched to the "Snake Hook" to start roughing out the body. In the video he does it with ease, but when i try to use the tool it only allows me to select and pull from a couple spots and essentially all i'm able to do is warp an egg shape
Nevermind, I didn't apply the modifier lol
Bro the snake hook tool seems to only extend the circle and not create more mesh you didn't explain that
Apply subdivision modifier
idk if im doing anything wrong but my model shows up as two sides and the model looks flat
nvm i fixed it. you just need to increase the radius
I have a question - scultping isn't working for me like at all... I try and use the brush but the model doesn't really react, my strength isn't the issue it just does nothing, what did i do wrong?
So I got to mirror and nothing happened. WTH
After hours of trying to get this to work I returned the program preferences to factory defaults. This worked but how would anyone know what was wrong. I think this software is like a swiss army knife, does anything but badly.
Thanks for your effort, I enjoy watching you sculpt.
6:04
How do you do this without a mouse wheel?
Also, why wouldn't the legs bending not be working?
Same question I have, I didn’t understand that part
cool
I did this tutorial and followed everything but my creation doesn’t at all end up like 3:48 . How do you make it so it’s in the middle?! When I was blocking off the body, it ended up with this incredibly odd outline on the mirror axis that had the two shapes laid out, but nothing like the smooth thing this time stamp has.
I think you moved your model, so you have to reset your origin. Select your model and do a right click - Origin - Set origin to Center of Mass. However it is difficult to make a diagnosis without seeing it. Feel free to upload your project here so I can take a look at it to help you: drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1849r_g-qR7oO5rYACc1Ag9ngAutRNKxk
