Thanks, I was wondering how to take the center bearing disconnected but know i got a full idea about it. still need to search for the center support shaft bearing number. I am thinking of replacing the bearing only without replacing the assembly unit. Thanks again
Hi i got 2010 dodge journey 2.4 fwd when i change the cv axle the washer or spacer at the end axle going to hub is not there wondering if there one or nothing? Thanks in advance
Every vehicle is different. On this vehicle usually no. As long as it has the factory hardware, the bolts should be splined and self centering. In any case, it's always a good idea to get an alignment as part of preventive maintenance. Thanks for watching!
Also, just tried taking the axle out today. Inner side is stuck in transmission, no amount of prying will get it out! Am I missing something? Is there some type of retainer clip or something that needs to be popped out first? It's locked in there tight

Question. Does the dodge journey have a abs tone ring on that cv shaft?
tone ring is in the bearing hub
