I picked up a gl650 this winter and like you mention; it pulls really strong. Wow does it ever. Quite a charming machine. We've been in the heart of winter so i lay i bed and look at pictures of it and watch videos and pine to get back into the garage. :) This weekend forecasts 60s so i am delighted. Quite a work of art there Kevin, bravo!
Hi, i am from the Philippines and i have a Honda gl 400 cc (Japan domestic market model) that i am now restoring. You're bike is such a nice looking bike. Thanks for posting.
Kevin this is Kyle Thompson I got bobby's red rocket yes I got the 954 shock on no problems rebuilt front forks, new brake pads, changed exhaust they were right under foot pegs Thanks for your help
Thanks, I wasn't expecting a reply. Yeah... I check your channel every week. This bike/post is my favorite. Saw it when you first had it up. Was going to give you an offer (I live in Ocala, FL - Marion Oaks). However the asking price was not given, I just assumed this bike - being a prize winner and all - would be priced over my reach (> $10K). Later, I saw your friend Ray's CX 650. It was drop-dead gorgeous even though I prefer the European tank. In the comments it was priced at $5K. That's when I realized these cafe racer CX 650's were actually very affordable. So... now I keep looking for the next opportunity. I know you have a similar one with the euro-tank, but that's your own ride.
Love the bike! I have just bought an 83 CX650E. Would love to do some similar things that you have done. Do you have a place where you describe the build details?
Hi, please can you say me what footpegs did you use for this bike? I have some probs with the originals footpegs and I would like to replace them. Thanks and congrats for this bike!
